9:36 Indeed, the number of months with Allah is twelve [lunar] months in the register of Allah [from] the day He created the heavens and the earth; of these, four are sacred.
That is the correct religion, so do not wrong yourselves during them.
And fight against the disbelievers collectively as they fight against you collectively.
And know that Allah is with the righteous [who fear Him].
37 Indeed, the postponing [of restriction within sacred months] is an increase in disbelief by which those who have disbelieved are led [further] astray.
They make it lawful one year and unlawful another year to correspond to the number made unlawful by Allah and [thus] make lawful what Allah has made unlawful.
Made pleasing to them is the evil of their deeds; and Allah does not guide the disbelieving people.
Koran 9:36-37
Muhammad spoke about Allah in the third person. This means this passage is not the perfect words of the perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah. Thus, Allah is false, imaginary, and fictional, which means Islamic doctrine and Islam are nonsensical and false.
Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 9:36, has an interesting story showing how delusional and forgetful Muhammad was:
The Prophet then asked, “What is the day today?”
We said, “Allah and His Messenger know better.”
He kept quiet until we thought that he might give that day another name.
He said “Isn’t it the day of Nahr?”
We replied, “Yes.”
He further asked, “Which month is this?”
We again said, “Allah and His Messenger know better.”
and he kept quiet and made us think that he might give it another name.
Then he said, “Isn’t it the month of Dhul-Hijjah?”
We replied, “Yes.”
He asked, “What town is this?”
We said, “Allah and His Messenger know better,”
and he kept quiet until we thought that he might change its name.
He asked, “Isn’t this the (Sacred) Town?”
We said, “Yes.”
He said,…
Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 9:36
This story quite obviously shows Muhammad was mythologising his surroundings.
This Koran passage shows that Muhammad is copying and pasting from the then-current pagan traditions into Islam and it’s confirmed by Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 9:36:
The Arabs used to consider these months sacred during the time of Jahiliyyah,…
Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 9:36
Despite Muhammad whining and advocating making war, Muhammad is unable to correctly describe the years, months and days, and which months are sacred. Note especially how the translators helpfully added in “[lunar]” to emphasize it’s a lunar calendar in accordance with the moon god/idol Al Lah, not a more natural sun or solar calendar, which would be in accord with Allah or God creating the world in DAYS, not during the nights.
Indeed, your Lord is Allah, who created the heavens and earth in six days and then established Himself above the Throne. He covers the night with the day, [another night] chasing it rapidly;…
Koran 7:54
And We did certainly create the heavens and earth and what is between them in six days, and there touched Us no weariness.
Koran 50:38
It is He who created the heavens and earth in six days and then established Himself above the Throne.
Koran 57:4
The incoherence between the Sun/Solar calendar of YHWH and God is contrasted with the Lunar/Moon calendar of the pagan Quraysh AND Muhammad, showing that Muhammad’s religion, Islam, is incoherent, starting with a solar calendar by copying from the Jewish and Christian texts, then inheriting the pagan Lunar/Moon calendar. This fundamental incoherence in days/nights and lunar or solar months shows Islam is incoherent, because Muhammad was incoherent, which means Allah is incoherent and thus Allah, Islamic doctrine and Islam are all incoherent and false.

The Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 9:37 shows that the calendar of Islam comes from the pagan Quraysh with this account of one of the leaders of the pagans:
He was the last one of his sons (to continue this practice) before Islam. The Arabs used to gather around him when Hajj finished, and he would stand and give them a speech in which he sanctifies Rajab, Dhul-Qa`dah and Dhul-Hijjah. He would defer the sanctity of Muharram to Safar one year and uphold its sanctity another year, so as to appear upholding the number (of Sacred Months) Allah made sacred. Therefore, he would allow what Allah prohibited and prohibit what Allah allowed.
Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 9:37
So is it the Sun/Solar calendar or the Moon/Lunar calendar? Muhammad is fundamentally incoherent on the topic, more interested in attacking his fellow pagans and murdering them, than in being coherent and getting his imaginary god correct. As such, the best replacement for this passage is: “”, the empty sentence.
