Love versus the Law

As you can see, Zaid, the Law hangs on the two commandments.

But, Muhammad, what about the ceremonial law that the Jews try to teach?

These only matter for the Jews. We’re Christians, and we don’t have the temple, sacrifices and so on. We love GOD, Jesus, and love one another. From that comes the law in our actions of loving.

I can see how this happens with most of the 10 commandments. But what about coveting? We make money – isn’t that coveting?

That’s just earning an income from providing services – as you know, there’s camel trading, spice storage, water supply in conjunction with Pharaoh, supplying his soldiers, small loans to traders to help them out, and of course, we donate to the poor and disadvantaged. All these services are a result of loving others, providing what they need, just as we buy meat, vegetables, fruit and so on from the market traders.

And we also provide church services, too!

Yes, that’s right: births, weddings, deaths, and other celebrations throughout the year.
