The Bible presents truth as a fundamental aspect of God’s nature and His relationship with humanity. Truth is not just a concept but a living reality that affects our beliefs and actions. It is a moral concept rooted in God’s character, as seen in verses like Psalm 43:3 and Isaiah 65:16. God is described as the “God of truth”, and His truthfulness embraces His steadfastness, trustworthiness, and eternal faithfulness. The Bible teaches that truth is personified in Jesus Christ, who is the embodiment of truth, and the Holy Spirit guides believers into truth. The Scriptures affirm that truth is the essence of God, and His truths are steadfast, providing security in an ever-changing world.
