24:56 And establish prayer and give zakah and obey the Messenger – that you may receive mercy.
57 Never think that the disbelievers are causing failure [to Allah] upon the earth.
Their refuge will be the Fire – and how wretched the destination.
Koran 24:56-57
Verse 56: “obey the Messenger” – where’s Allah in this? And let’s remember, Muhammad the Messenger is long dead.
But, Infidel, by obeying Muhammad, we obey Allah! So where are Muhammad’s words to obey?
But, Infidel, Muhammad’s words are in the Koran! Muhammad’s words in his Koran?
But, Infidel, you tricked me, it’s Allah’s perfect words in the perfect Qur’an! Where we have to “obey the Messenger”, not Allah.
But, Infidel, it’s “Allah” and it’s a translation issue! I see. The scholars of Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 24:56, have:
…obey the Messenger of Allah , i.e., to do as he commands them and to avoid what he forbids them,
Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 24:56
I wonder where and what those “commands” and “forbids” are?
But, Infidel, it’s the Koran! How can that be when the Qur’an is the perfect word of perfect Allah that should surely mention “obey Allah”, not “obey the messenger”? Right?
But, Infidel, it’s a translation issue. I see. You don’t think that the disbelievers are causing failure to someone, right?
But, Infidel, it’s “[Allah]” and it’s YOU! That’s from the translators. And I’m causing failure by pointing out problems with Muhammad’s words?
But, Infidel, it’s Allah’s words! “[to Allah]”.
The best replacement for this passage is: “”, the empty sentence.
