Koran 23:31-41

23:31 Then We produced after them a generation of others.

32 And We sent among them a messenger from themselves, [saying], “Worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him; then will you not fear Him?”

33 And the eminent among his people who disbelieved and denied the meeting of the Hereafter while We had given them luxury in the worldly life said, “This is not but a man like yourselves. He eats of that from which you eat and drinks of what you drink. 34 And if you should obey a man like yourselves, indeed, you would then be losers. 35 Does he promise you that when you have died and become dust and bones that you will be brought forth [once more]? 36 How far, how far, is that which you are promised. 37 Life is not but our worldly life – we die and live, but we will not be resurrected. 38 He is not but a man who has invented a lie about Allah, and we will not believe him.”

39 He said, “My Lord, support me because they have denied me.”

40 [Allah] said, “After a little, they will surely become regretful.”

41 So the shriek seized them in truth, and We made them as [plant] stubble.

Then away with the wrongdoing people.

Koran 23:31-41

Muhammad commits shirk with: “We”, “Us” or “Our”, placing Allah as a companion to himself, showing that Allah is incoherent, imaginary, and fictional, and so Islam is incoherent with monotheism, thus Islam is contradictory and false.

Muhammad spoke about Allah in the third person. This means this passage is not the perfect words of the perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah. Thus, Allah is false, imaginary, and fictional, which means Islamic doctrine and Islam are nonsensical and false.

I wonder who these people are? Muhammad doesn’t bother to tell us. But it doesn’t matter, as from experience with Muhammad’s earlier stories, this is yet another occasion of Muhammad pretending to be a prophet, and pretending that the Quraysh is that prophet’s people. This is confirmed by the indecision of the scholars of Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 23:31, with:

…created another nation. It was said that this was `Ad, because they were the successors of the people of Nuh.

Or it was said that they were Thamud…

So, the Sayhah overtook them in truth.

Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 23:31

Notice that the scholars are unable to decide. For more, read Story of Hud and Story of Saleh. I’ve assigned this story as a Story of Hud.

Notice the Quraysh leader now speaks like Muhammad with similar speech patterns: “is not but”, “indeed, you would then be losers” and “He is not but a man who has invented a lie about Allah, and we will not believe him”. It’s possible that Muhammad was in an episode of disassociation while reciting this passage, or Muhammad perhaps was not playing as a prophet but imagining the likely reaction of the Quraysh leader. Also, note the difference in the power of Allah with:

40 [Allah] said, “After a little, they will surely become regretful.”

Koran 23:40

And then with “We”:

41 So the shriek seized them in truth, and We made them as [plant] stubble. Then away with the wrongdoing people.

Koran 23:41

Clearly, “Allah” is Muhammad’s simpering “good” side, and “We” is Muhammad’s raging “evil” side. Both are ineffectual, as neither takes action outside of Muhammad’s head and can only “cause” Muhammad to speak weirdly, showing Muhammad’s madness.

Also, note Muhammad’s total inability to actually convince people with reason and evidence. He’s supposedly assisted by Allah, the same god that the Quraysh worships, yet he’s unable to get Allah to do anything to help him. And note that nothing happened to Mecca, except for Muhammad invading with his Muslim bandits, showing again the weakness of Allah and the power of the Muslim sword so much greater than Allah.

The best replacement for this passage is: “”, the empty sentence.
