Koran 17:34-35

17:34 And do not approach the property of an orphan, except in the way that is best, until he reaches maturity.

And fulfill [every] commitment.

Indeed, the commitment is ever [that about which one will be] questioned.

35 And give full measure when you measure, and weigh with an even balance.

That is the best [way] and best in result.

Koran 17:34-35

Take care of orphans, fulfil your commitments and ensure your balance is even. Note that these subjects have already been touched upon by Muhammad earlier, in Koran 6:152:

And do not approach the orphan’s property except in a way that is best until he reaches maturity.

And give full measure and weight in justice.

We do not charge any soul except [with that within] its capacity. And when you testify, be just, even if [it concerns] a near relative. And the covenant of Allah fulfill. This has He instructed you that you may remember.

Koran 6:152

Obviously repeating stuff is incoherent with the supposed oneness of Allah, and getting the repeats corrupted is incoherent with the supposed perfection of Allah. Thus this corrupt repetition and corrupt diversification demonstrate that Muhammad was forgetful which means Allah and Islam are false.

What can all these verses be about? Love.

  • Love the orphan.
  • Love others.
  • Love the customer.

Because there’s no love in Islam, Muhammad has to invent all these special cases, and obviously forgets about them, until reminded, and then he gets them in the wrong order and corrupts them all again. For more, see The Two Commandments.

Note the casual sexism with “he” in both passages. What about little girl orphans? I suggest that instead of being concerned with ALL orphans or trying to extend “he” to apply to male and female children, Muhammad was actually whining about his own situation in the past as an orphan. But that’s just my opinion, I could easily be wrong.

This verse demonstrates that Muhammad and his scribes seem to have been indulging in continual rewriting of the Koran possibly to make it seem more divine. Or it could be that Muhammad is doing this as a part of diversification and explanation, except that this passage fails at that, and it’s not simplified down to love, as I’ve shown above.

The best replacement for this passage is: “”, the empty sentence.
