Koran 17:31

And do not kill your children for fear of poverty.

We provide for them and for you.

Indeed, their killing is ever a great sin.

Koran 17:31

Muhammad commits shirk with: “We”, “Us” or “Our”, placing Allah as a companion to himself, showing that Allah is incoherent, imaginary, and fictional, and so Islam is incoherent with monotheism, thus Islam is contradictory and false.

Test Muhammad’s words. Go for a long walk, don’t pack a snack or lunch and don’t take water. What happens? You got tired, thirsty and hungry. Did “We” or Allah provide for you as promised by Muhammad? Obviously not. At best, it might have rained, and you might have been able to drink some rainwater – the “provision” of Allah.

This verse is a continuation from the previous two passages about charity and caring for the poor, etc, forbidding the murder of your own children, but not the murder of other people’s children. This is why ISIS will and did murder the children of others, just not their own children, as in the Manchester Arena bombing:

Twenty-three people died, including the attacker, and 139 were wounded, more than half of them children.

On 23 May, the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, via the Nashir Telegram channel, claimed the attack was carried out by “a soldier of the Khilafah”. The message called the attack “an endeavor to terrorize the mushrikin, and in response to their transgressions against the lands of the Muslims.” Abedi’s (martyr-bomber) sister said that he was motivated by revenge for Muslim children killed by American airstrikes in Syria.

Manchester Arena bombing, Wikipedia

The Muslim martyr-bomber did not incur “a great sin” for killing the children of others or even for the murder of people, as he had the “right” to kill under Islam.

This passage, Koran 17:31, is a corrupt restatement of a part of Koran 6:151 from earlier:

…and do not kill your children out of poverty; We will provide for you and them.

Excerpt from Koran 6:151

Again, Muhammad commits shirk in Koran 6:151 and in Koran 17:31, with the “We” assigning Allah to be beside Muhammad. Allah never provided for the children of the Quraysh. Allah never provided for the children of the Muslim bandits. Allah never provided for the children of Muhammad. Muhammad seems to have been infertile, probably due to the STI he had.

Of course, with “We” Muhammad may have meant that he, Muhammad, would provide for orphans, but there seems to be no indication of this, except for one “adopted” and then abandoned son.

In short, Allah’s hand really is chained, like the Jews asserted in Koran 5:64-66:

64 And the Jews say, “The hand of Allah is chained.”

Koran 5:64-66
Allah, the dead, broken, stone idol, in Mecca, Petra, Jordan.

Allah’s hand is chained, there’s no “bounty” for parents or children, except what we humans give in charity. Please consider being charitable and donating to World Vision International or even sponsoring a child or a community. Do better than Muhammad and stone idol Allah ever did, and thus show to all that Islam is false and evil.

The best replacement for this passage is: “”, the empty sentence.
