Koran 17:23-24

17:23 And your Lord has decreed that you not worship except Him, and to parents, good treatment.

Whether one or both of them reach old age [while] with you, say not to them [so much as], “uff,” and do not repel them but speak to them a noble word.

24 And lower to them the wing of humility out of mercy and say, “My Lord, have mercy upon them as they brought me up [when I was] small.”

Koran 17:23-24

Notice the mixed messages here from Muhammad, talking about not worshipping others except the moon god, Allah, who is also the rain and cattle god, then switching to parents. Surely one verse about not associating others with Allah suffices for the entire Koran? This chapter? Like in the previous verse? I’ll copy and paste it here:

Do not make [as equal] with Allāh another deity and [thereby] become censured and forsaken.

Koran 17:22

Muhammad leaves undefined: “good treatment”, which is pointless.

Muhammad is incoherent: “Whether one or both of them reach old age”. This phrase assumes one man, one wife – one couple. Muhammad forgot that he’s allowed many women per man. What’s the son to do with his father’s wife who didn’t bear him? And what’s the definition of “old age”?

Muhammad is confused: “[while] with you” – why what does this matter? What if the son goes on a long campaign, conquering many countries for Allah over a decade or two, is away from home, and comes back, his parents are now old and perhaps his father has taken a child bride, younger than the son? Quite a reasonable circumstance, and something that eventually did happen to some of Muhammad’s soldiers.

Your father’s new child bride, who can play with your children

Muhammad doesn’t consider other cultures and languages with: “say not to them [so much as], “uff””. What is “uff”? I have no idea. Checking with the scholars of Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 17:23, who make clear the already perfectly clear words of imaginary Allah and false prophet Muhammad, “uff” is:

…the mildest word of disrespect,…

Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 17:23

I have no such word in English. For more, see: Uff, uff, uff!

Muhammad continues to confuse with clear words: “a noble word.” What’s a noble word? King? Caliph? That seems disrespectful and mocking to me, particularly when saying it to your father’s new child bride.

Sure, she’s “caliph” with her fluorescent pink teddy bear and happy smile, unaware of Muhammad’s paedophilia.
Allah, the dead, broken, stone idol, in Mecca, Petra, Jordan.

Instead of the phrase “but speak to them a noble word.”, the Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 17:23 translation has:

…but address them in terms of honor.

Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 17:23
God

In the bible, the 10 commandments from God, have:

Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you.

NIV Exodus 20:12

This is recapitulated with:

Honor your father and your mother, as the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live long and that it may go well with you in the land the Lord your God is giving you.

NIV Deuteronomy 5:16
Jesus

Jesus further confirms this, in two gospels:

honor your father and mother

Excerpt, NIV Matthew 19:19

honor your father and mother

Excerpt, NIV Mark 10:19

The simple and direct language alone shows that God and Jesus are NOT Allah and certainly not functionally illiterate Muhammad, who is helped along by the scribes of his time and translators of our time.

Muhammad repeats himself: “do not repel them” and then in the next verse, the phrase: “And lower to them the wing of humility out of mercy”. Do I need to mention that humans do not have wings? And few to no cultures have metaphorical wings attached metaphorically to humans, to be “humble” with.

Usually, humans lose their wings in adulthood.

But, Infidel, it’s a metaphor! From Muhammad’s local culture, showing the Koran comes from him, his friends and his culture, not from a real god.

Do I need to mention that Muhammad seems incompetent in using his own language, and his god, the stone idol Allah, seems completely unable to instruct Muhammad in his own language?

Muhammad was in the cave, he was overwhelmed by the presence of the Angel Gabriel. Gabriel commanded him, “Recite!” and twice Muhammad, whom the angel embraced and squeezed until he could bear it no more, said, “I cannot recite.”

Muhammad: The Messenger of God
Scribe writing hieroglyphs for a ruler or pharaoh.

And this is the same stone idol, supposedly my teacher, teaching me my scribal skills?

Let no scribe refuse to write as Allah has taught him.

Let no scribe be harmed or any witness.

For if you do so, indeed, it is [grave] disobedience in you. And fear Allah. And Allah teaches you.

Excerpts, Koran 2:282
Thinking allowed!

Muhammad spends more effort on a worthless prayer to a stone idol that never listens with: “My Lord, have mercy upon them as they brought me up [when I was] small.” This shows that the author of this passage is not Allah, but Muhammad. Thus, the concept that Allah is the author of the Koran is false, thus showing Allah, Islam and Muhammad are false.

Consider, what does “honour your parents” mean? Surely this would include taking care of your parents when they’re aged and infirm, as at least partial repayment for their bringing you to life? Muhammad substitutes worthless prayer to a stone idol, instead of giving practical advice.

The best replacement for this passage is: “”, the empty sentence.
