11:114 And establish prayer at the two ends of the day and at the approach of the night.
Indeed, good deeds do away with misdeeds.
That is a reminder for those who remember.
115 And be patient, for indeed, Allah does not allow to be lost the reward of those who do good.
Koran 11:114-115
Muhammad spoke about Allah in the third person. This means this passage is not the perfect words of the perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah. Thus, Allah is false, imaginary, and fictional, which means Islamic doctrine and Islam are nonsensical and false.
What are the “two ends of the day”, and the “approach of the night”? My first thoughts were that these are respectively, Dawn, Dusk, and sometime in the evening. Obviously, this is unclear, particularly when Islam has FIVE occasions for prayer every day and night. Where did that come from? Well, according to Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 11:114-115, this 5× daily prayer is from:
…the five daily prayers were made obligatory during the night of Isra’ (the Prophet’s night journey to Jerusalem).
Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 11:114-115
Interestingly before that:
At that time there were only two obligatory prayers: a prayer before sunrise and a prayer before sunset.
Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 11:114-115
So as you can see, this verse was pointless, as it abrogated an earlier prescription for daily prayer and then itself was abrogated by Muhammad’s dream. Note that as an abrogation this passage is supposed to be forgotten, as some other verse abrogates this passage. Yet, here it is, remembered by the text and in the minds of Muslims.
Now see how this verse was revealed by Muhammad, in Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 11:114-115:
Al-Bukhari recorded Ibn Mas`ud saying that a man kissed a woman (who was not his relative or wife). He then came to the Prophet and informed him about the incident. Thus, Allah revealed,… [this verse]
Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 11:114-115
As you’ll note, this passage is revealed after the fact, and later itself is abrogated. So we see this passage is simply words of convenience from Muhammad to “settle” down one of his men during Muhammad’s time and place, his context. This shows that Muhammad is a false prophet of a false god, Allah, with a false doctrine and false religion, Islam. As such, and being abrogated too, the best replacement for this passage is: “”, the empty sentence.
