Koran 10:41-44

10:41 And if they deny you, [O Muhammad], then say, “For me are my deeds, and for you are your deeds. You are disassociated from what I do, and I am disassociated from what you do.”

42 And among them are those who listen to you.

But can you cause the deaf to hear, although they will not use reason?

43 And among them are those who look at you.

But can you guide the blind although they will not [attempt to] see?

44 Indeed, Allah does not wrong the people at all, but it is the people who are wronging themselves.

Koran 10:41-44

Muhammad, in his Koran, addresses a sentence, verse, or passage to “Anonymous They”, with “they”, “them”, “he”, “your”, “the people”, and so on, without naming them. For more, read Anonymous They.

Muhammad Allah commands Muhammad to: “Say” or “Recite”. This means that this passage is addressed to Muhammad, not to all people. Thus, this passage can’t be in the perfect words of the perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah. As it is addressed to Muhammad, in his time and place, his context, this also means that this passage is locked to Muhammad’s context and can’t be in the context-free, perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah with all its perfect words. Thus, this passage is part of Muhammad’s recitation, Muhammad’s Koran, which means Islamic doctrine and Islam are incoherent and false, meaning Allah is incoherent, imaginary, fictional, and false.

Muhammad spoke about Allah in the third person. This means this passage is not the perfect words of the perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah. Thus, Allah is false, imaginary, and fictional, which means Islamic doctrine and Islam are nonsensical and false.

Who are the anonymous “they”? According to Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 10:41-44, it’s the “idolaters”:

Allah said to His Prophet: “If these idolators belie you, then be clear from them and their deeds.”

Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 10:41-44

I find it impressive that the scholars of Tafsir were there to overhear Allah speaking directly to Muhammad inside his head. Truly these scholars are influenced by Jinn and Demon to get these magical powers! The “idolaters” are the Quraysh, Muhammad’s pagan Arab tribe in Mecca.

Muhammad whines: “But can you cause the deaf to hear”? Indeed, Muhammad couldn’t make the deaf hear, either literally or metaphorically. So this means that Muhammad knows he’s NOT aided by an omnipotent god, thus Allah is an impotent idol. Let’s compare Muhammad with Jesus, as I did earlier, in Koran 8:20-23:

Jesus Heals a Deaf and Mute Man

31 Then Jesus left the vicinity of Tyre and went through Sidon, down to the Sea of Galilee and into the region of the Decapolis. 32 There some people brought to him a man who was deaf and could hardly talk, and they begged Jesus to place his hand on him.

33 After he took him aside, away from the crowd, Jesus put his fingers into the man’s ears. Then he spit and touched the man’s tongue. 34 He looked up to heaven and with a deep sigh said to him, “Ephphatha!” (which means “Be opened!”). 35 At this, the man’s ears were opened, his tongue was loosened and he began to speak plainly.

36 Jesus commanded them not to tell anyone. But the more he did so, the more they kept talking about it. 37 People were overwhelmed with amazement. “He has done everything well,” they said. “He even makes the deaf hear and the mute speak.”

NIV Mark 7:31-37

As you can see, Jesus literally cures the deaf and mute man of his deafness and muteness. Note the power of Jesus, who is literally God, and note how people are amazed by the demonstration of the power of Jesus:

People were overwhelmed with amazement. “He has done everything well,” they said. “He even makes the deaf hear and the mute speak.”

NIV Mark 7:37

Muhammad whines: “But can you guide the blind…”? Indeed Muhammad couldn’t make the blind see, either literally or metaphorically. So this means that Muhammad knows he’s NOT aided by an omnipotent god, thus Allah is an impotent idol. Again, let’s compare Muhammad with Jesus:

Jesus Heals the Blind

27 As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, calling out, “Have mercy on us, Son of David!”

28 When he had gone indoors, the blind men came to him, and he asked them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?”

“Yes, Lord,” they replied.

29 Then he touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith let it be done to you”; 30 and their sight was restored. Jesus warned them sternly, “See that no one knows about this.” 31 But they went out and spread the news about him all over that region.

NIV Matthew 9:27-31

As you can see, Jesus literally cures the two blind men of their blindness, and their sight was restored. Note the power of Jesus, who is literally God, and note how people are amazed by the demonstration of the power of Jesus:

31 But they went out and spread the news about him all over that region.

NIV Matthew 9:31

So that’s the power of Jesus literally demonstrated. Was Jesus able to convince everyone? No, not so. Let’s give an incident of that, but first, let’s see what John the Baptist did do:

But when he [John the Baptist] saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees [Both equivalent to Quraysh elite] coming to where he was baptizing, he said to them: “You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath? Produce fruit in keeping with repentance. And do not think you can say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ I tell you that out of these stones God can raise up children for Abraham. 10 The ax is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.

11 “I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me comes one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. 12 His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor, gathering his wheat into the barn and burning up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”

NIV Matthew 3:7-12

Now compare that off-the-cuff speech with what Muhammad is commanded to say by imaginary Allah:

…then say, “For me are my deeds, and for you are your deeds. You are disassociated from what I do, and I am disassociated from what you do.”

Koran 10:41

John the Baptist, a mere man, does far better than Muhammad and the imaginary Allah, and gives a prophecy of Jesus which is straight away fulfilled by Jesus:

13 Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John.

NIV Matthew 3:13

Now let’s see what happened with Jesus with people who would not see, hear, or understand:

The Parable of the Sower

13 That same day Jesus went out of the house and sat by the lake. Such large crowds gathered around him that he got into a boat and sat in it, while all the people stood on the shore. Then he told them many things in parables, saying: “A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants. Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop—a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. Whoever has ears, let them hear.”

NIV Matthew 13:1-9

If this moves or interests you, perhaps you’d like to read the whole chapter and see how vastly better Jesus was than the imaginary Allah and stupid Muhammad in NIV Matthew 13.

Jesus shows that he’s vastly superior and way more coherent than Muhammad, so the best replacement for this passage is: “”, the empty sentence.
