10:37 And it was not [possible] for this Qur’an to be produced by other than Allah, but [it is] a confirmation of what was before it and a detailed explanation of the [former] Scripture, about which there is no doubt, from the Lord of the worlds.
38 Or do they say [about the Prophet], “He invented it?”
Say, “Then bring forth a surah like it and call upon [for assistance] whomever you can besides Allah, if you should be truthful.”
39 Rather, they have denied that which they encompass not in knowledge and whose interpretation has not yet come to them.
Thus did those before them deny.
Then observe how was the end of the wrongdoers.
40 And of them are those who believe in it, and of them are those who do not believe in it.
And your Lord is most knowing of the corrupters
Koran 10:37-40
Muhammad spoke about Allah in the third person. This means this passage is not the perfect words of the perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah. Thus, Allah is false, imaginary, and fictional, which means Islamic doctrine and Islam are nonsensical and false.
Muhammad, in his Koran, addresses a sentence, verse, or passage to “Anonymous They”, with “they”, “them”, “he”, “your”, “the people”, and so on, without naming them. For more, read Anonymous They.
Muhammad Allah commands Muhammad to: “Say” or “Recite”. This means that this passage is addressed to Muhammad, not to all people. Thus, this passage can’t be in the perfect words of the perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah. As it is addressed to Muhammad, in his time and place, his context, this also means that this passage is locked to Muhammad’s context and can’t be in the context-free, perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah with all its perfect words. Thus, this passage is part of Muhammad’s recitation, Muhammad’s Koran, which means Islamic doctrine and Islam are incoherent and false, meaning Allah is incoherent, imaginary, fictional, and false.
Muhammad lied: “And it was not [possible] for this Qur’an to be produced by other than Allah,” – but Muhammad’s recitation, Muhammad’s Koran, was created, produced, recited by Muhammad and his friends, and badly assembled by Muslims after Muhammad’s death. All this shows that Muhammad’s Koran comes from Muhammad and his friends, not from Allah.
Muhammad lied: “a confirmation of what was before it” – Muhammad’s Koran only confirms a few things from the Torah and the Bible and is far, far worse than both in quality and coherence. This chapter is supposedly about Jonah, the prophet, yet 40 verses in, there’s virtually nothing about Jonah at all. Worse, the story of Jonah is in chapter 37 of Muhammad’s Koran, not in the chapter of Jonah. Far worse, there’s a 1 verse summary in this chapter:
10:98 Then has there not been a [single] city that believed so its faith benefited it except the people of Jonah? When they believed, We removed from them the punishment of disgrace in worldly life and gave them enjoyment for a time.
Koran 10:98
Which, as you will note, Muhammad gets the story wrong from both Torah and Bible. The story of Jonah is better in Torah and Bible, thus Muhammad’s challenge is met by both Torah and Bible and by Chapter 37 of Muhammad’s Koran. There are more interesting better versions in A Surah Like it?
But, infidel, the Torah and Bible are corrupt! Then let’s compare 10:98 of the Koran with 37:147:
And We sent him to [his people of] a hundred thousand or more.
Koran 37:147
Notice the contradiction, in 10:98, “the people of Jonah”, and 37:147 “We sent him to [his people of] a hundred thousand”. Note how the translators “helpfully” add “[his people]” to make it consistent with 10:98. So if the translators have to “help” Muhammad get 37:157 consistent with 10:98, then obviously the challenge has been met by Muhammad and his translators, thus the Koran is false, and Allah is imaginary, making Islamic doctrine and Islam nonsensical and false.
Muhammad’s incoherence and repetition, show that the best replacement for this passage is: “”, the empty sentence.
