10:13 And We had already destroyed generations before you when they wronged, and their messengers had come to them with clear proofs, but they were not to believe.
Thus do We recompense the criminal people
14 Then We made you successors in the land after them so that We may observe how you will do.
Koran 10:13-14
Muhammad commits shirk with: “We”, “Us” or “Our”, placing Allah as a companion to himself, showing that Allah is incoherent, imaginary, and fictional, and so Islam is incoherent with monotheism, thus Islam is contradictory and false.
Muhammad’s bad summation of past “messengers” fails with Adam, Noah, Jonah, Abraham, Jacob, Ezekiel and Jesus (in Islamic theology, Jesus is a prophet), and probably others. Thus verse 13 is itself a threat, a threat that fails against the knowledgeable, as the various peoples involved were not destroyed. Worse for Muhammad, none of these people were Muslim or became Muslim. They were of Hewbews, Jews or Christians, all Abrahamic.
Muhammad is speaking about the Quraysh, who thought of themselves as successors after their historical ancestors. Allah never made them “successors” because that’s the action of people, to be successful, to have children and expand civilisation.
Note that Muhammad cannot provide “clear proofs” to the Quraysh, and this ignorant saying that was already false in Muhammad’s time is not “clear proof” from Muhammad. Note also the inaction of Allah to provide clear proof even in what is supposedly his Koran. That inaction is coherent with Allah being a dead, broken, stone idol.
Compare Muhammad’s laziness and inaction with the silliness of Jonah (Jonah was written as a comedy and isn’t serious):
3 Then the word of the Lord came to Jonah a second time: 2 “Go to the great city of Nineveh and proclaim to it the message I give you.”
3 Jonah obeyed the word of the Lord and went to Nineveh. Now Nineveh was a very large city; it took three days to go through it. 4 Jonah began by going a day’s journey into the city, proclaiming, “Forty more days and Nineveh will be overthrown.” 5 The Ninevites believed God. A fast was proclaimed, and all of them, from the greatest to the least, put on sackcloth.
6 When Jonah’s warning reached the king of Nineveh, he rose from his throne, took off his royal robes, covered himself with sackcloth and sat down in the dust. 7 This is the proclamation he issued in Nineveh:
“By the decree of the king and his nobles:
Do not let people or animals, herds or flocks, taste anything; do not let them eat or drink. 8 But let people and animals be covered with sackcloth. Let everyone call urgently on God. Let them give up their evil ways and their violence. 9 Who knows? God may yet relent and with compassion turn from his fierce anger so that we will not perish.”
10 When God saw what they did and how they turned from their evil ways, he relented and did not bring on them the destruction he had threatened.
But, Infidel, the Story of Jonah is real! No, it’s not. Even Muhammad can’t get it coherent. See Story of Jonah for more.
But, but, Infidel, you weren’t there and how can you tell? Indeed I wasn’t there. But we can tell because of the King’s proclamation: “animals be covered with sackcloth”. Who clothes animals except nonsensically, for amusement?

But worse for Muhammad, was this, Jonah wasn’t of the people of Nineveh: “Jonah son of Amittai”, in the very first verse, along with the distant starting location shows this conclusively: “But Jonah ran away from the Lord and headed for Tarshish. He went down to Joppa”.
And far worse for Muhammad, note the action of Jonah in the story. He actually spoke in Nineveh. Muhammad didn’t bother speaking to his own people, the Quraysh. He’s just ranting here in his recitation, his Koran, his dear diary, “Mean people don’t like me, my lies don’t work, oh God Allah, kill them all!” If Muhammad really was a messenger from a real god, obviously his god would help him (or hinder him if Muhammad disobeyed). The fact nothing happens shows that Allah is not real, he’s an idol, dead with Muhammad in Muhammad’s mind, broken and discarded long ago in Mecca. This means that Islamic doctrine and Islam are nonsense and false.
Muhammad’s ranting in his Koran is a displacement activity, it’s something he can do, when he subconsciously knows his god is false, and who provides no support or “clear signs” for him, while he’s also too frightened to trust in Allah.
Muhammad’s laziness, which shows that he knows he doesn’t have clear signs, shows that the best replacement for this passage is: “”, the empty sentence.
