Koran 9:118-119

9:118 And [He also forgave] the three who were left behind [and regretted their error] to the point that the earth closed in on them in spite of its vastness and their souls confined them and they were certain that there is no refuge from Allah except in Him.

Then He turned to them so they could repent.

Indeed, Allah is the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful.

119 O you who have believed, fear Allah and be with those who are true.

Koran 9:118-119

Muhammad spoke about Allah in the third person. This means this passage is not the perfect words of the perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah. Thus, Allah is false, imaginary, and fictional, which means Islamic doctrine and Islam are nonsensical and false.

Muhammad, ad nauseam: “who have believed”. Read, O you who have believed.

Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 9:118, has a huge story associated with this passage to explain the context, which is extremely long and details the experiences of “the three” – the three men who missed going to a battle with Muhammad. Naturally, context means this passage can’t come from context-free Allah, thus the Koran comes from Muhammad or friends, which means Koran and so Islam is false.

Note that Muhammad’s men knew that 80 of them lied to Muhammad’s face, and yet, three Muslim men that told the truth were punished by Muhammad. This shows that Muhammad was not assisted by a real god, and worse, couldn’t tell when people lied to him, and worse, his men knew they could get away from punishment by inventing lies (excuses).

So when he had done all that (this time), those who failed to join the battle came and started offering (false) excuses and taking oaths before him. They were over eighty men. Allah’s Messenger accepted the excuses they expressed outwardly, asked for Allah’s forgiveness for them and left the secrets of their hearts for Allah to judge.

Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 9:118

This passage is about three Muslims of Muhammad’s time and place, his context, and their forgiveness not from Allah, but by Muhammad, the “He turned to them”, in the first verse. Thus this shows that Muhammad was regarded as divine by the creator of this passage, which, was not Muhammad, but someone else, most likely a secretary for Muhammad. Note that this is confirmed by the phrase: “the earth closed in on them in spite of its vastness and their souls confined them”, which is not an experience of Muhammad, but of one of his men, one of “the three”, relating his mental experience:

…my very soul seemed straitened to me and even the earth seemed narrow to me for all its spaciousness.

Tafsir Ibn Ka
thir, 9:118

The above sentence describes an episode of disassociation, which is the result of severe mental stress, as noted in the Tafsir, 50 days of “shunning“, a practice of Muhammad, which apparently is not in Islam now. Obviously, Islam now has changed from the Islam of Muhammad’s time, showing Islam is corrupted and so false.

After this, this passage was “revealed”. Clearly, the unnamed secretary was incorporating other people’s experiences into the verse, showing this verse is NOT from Allah at all.

Ever since I have mentioned the truth to Allah’s Messenger, I have never intended to tell a lie, until today. I hope that Allah will also save me (from telling lies) the rest of my life. So Allah revealed the Ayah,…

Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 9:118

Obviously, a verse created by a secretary repeating the spoken words of one of Muhammad’s Muslim men, who disobeyed Allah’s command earlier, is NOT part of the perfect words of the perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah. Thus Muhammad’s recitation, Muhammad’s Koran, is not from Allah, showing Allah is imaginary, which means Islamic doctrine and Islam are nonsensical and false.

What’s interesting here in the tafsir, is Muhammad’s face “bright” or “shining” or halo:

Ka`b added, “When I greeted Allah’s Messenger, his face was bright with joy.”

Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 9:118

Whenever Allah’s Messenger became happy, his face would shine as if it was a piece of the moon, and we all knew that characteristic of him.

Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 9:118

Note the allusion to the Moon with “a piece of the moon”, indicating to the men, that Muhammad’s face was shining like the moon. What does this look like? Something like this stained glass:

Stained glass figures, all with a halo around their head.

In practice, you may have seen this as well. You can see it in the face of someone who really loves you a lot. You might be able to do this as well if you love someone else a lot. Seeing a halo in real life is rare and being able to do it yourself is more rare and consciously doing a halo is extremely rare. This effect is not capable of being photographed, as it’s a psychological process involving eye dilation between lovers.

John the Baptist and Jesus, both with a halo on and around their faces.

The fact that Muhammad doesn’t know he does this, but his men do, shows that for him, it’s an unconscious process. Muhammad is driven by his emotions and can’t control himself. Muhammad loves deeply and hates deeply too, which is intensified in maniac phases and depressed in depressed phases.

But, Infidel, surely this verse teaches us to not lie?! Have you read the commandment in Torah or Bible against lying?

You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.

NIV Exodus 20:16

Notice the conciseness of the commandment from GOD, instead of this deceptive story from a scribe.

A secretary that writes bad Koran verses for Muhammad is not Allah and certainly isn’t Allah’s messenger. So this passage is best replaced with: “”, the empty sentence.
