Koran 9:117

Allah has already forgiven the Prophet and the Muhajireen and the Ansar who followed him in the hour of difficulty after the hearts of a party of them had almost inclined [to doubt], and then He forgave them.

Indeed, He was to them Kind and Merciful.

Koran 9:117

Muhammad spoke about Allah in the third person. This means this passage is not the perfect words of the perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah. Thus, Allah is false, imaginary, and fictional, which means Islamic doctrine and Islam are nonsensical and false.

From just this verse alone one would have virtually no idea what happened. Let’s see what the demon-influenced and demon-possessed scholars of Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 9:117, who have made clear this verse, beyond the perfectly clear words of Allah, perfectly recited clearly by Muhammad, obviously.

Mujahid and several others said, “This Ayah was revealed concerning the battle of Tabuk. They left for that battle during a period of distress. It was a year with little rain, intense heat and scarcity of supplies and water.”

Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 9:117

Note that the verse was revealed AFTER not before. Also note the words: “a year with little rain,…”.

Qatadah said, “They went to Ash-Sham during the year of the battle of Tabuk at a time when the heat was intense. Allah knew how hard things were, and they suffered great hardship. We were told that two men used to divide a date between themselves. Some of them would take turns in sucking on a date and drinking water, then give it to another man to suck on. Allah forgave them and allowed them to come back from that battle.”

Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 9:117

Umar said, “We went with the Messenger of Allah in the intense heat for Tabuk. We camped at a place in which we were stricken so hard by thirst that we thought that our necks would be severed. One of us used to go out in search of water and did not return until he feared that his neck would be severed. One would slaughter his camel, squeeze its intestines and drink its content, placing whatever was left on his kidney.”

Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 9:117

Abu Bakr As-Siddiq said, “O Allah’s Messenger! Allah, the Exalted and Most Honored, has always accepted your invocation, so invoke Allah for us.”

The Prophet said, “Would you like me to do that?”

Abu Bakr said, “Yes.”

The Prophet raised his hands and did not put them down until rain fell from the sky in abundance. It rained and then stopped raining for a while, then rained again, so they filled their containers. We went out to see where the rain reached and found that it did not rain beyond our camp.

Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 9:117
Rainbow, rain cloud and localised rain are on the left of the picture at the horizon.

As one can see, what was a natural event, localised rain, was made mythical by Muhammad and his men, an “invocation” of Allah.

But, infidel, it was a miracle of Allah! Have a look at this cloud with its localised rain:

Note the localised rain in the right middle of the photo.

But, but, infidel, it happened only for Muhammad because of Allah! Obviously not. For example, the rain started falling in front of my house. I needed to go out the back door of my house (for some reason I forget now), where, it was NOT raining. Just like with Muhammad. Curious, I then went to the front of the house, where it was raining. Then I went to the back of my house, where it was still DRY. I repeated this for several minutes, raining at the front of the house, not raining at the back of the house until the wind moved the rain cloud completely over my house, giving rain on both sides at the same time. At that time I was Christian and I was not praying for rain at all. So obviously there was no invocation of Allah or even God, yet the situation remained the same, as for Muhammad and his men, rain upon them, but not rain outside of them, just like my own situation in the past, and just like localised rain showers have occurred all the time.

Note the localised rain on the horizon at the left.
Note the localised rain on the horizon, near the middle of the picture.

But, perhaps you doubt that rain can be localised and must be in big “blobs” of rain? Here’s a rain map over Saudi Arabia and Qatar recently:

Saudi Arabia and Qatar rain map.

Note the many little “blobs” of rain, localised rain.

Note that Muslims have to endure many droughts in Islamic countries and nations. No Muslim is able to make it rain, like Muhammad seemingly did, according to the Tafsir. This shows either all Muslims are false, or Allah is simply imaginary, with no power to affect the wind, rain clouds or rain. Thus Islamic doctrine and Islam are nonsensical and false.

Natural events aren’t miracles or “invocations of Allah”. So the best replacement for this verse is: “”, the empty sentence.
