And fear a trial which will not strike those who have wronged among you exclusively, and know that Allah is severe in penalty.
Koran 8:25
Muhammad spoke about Allah in the third person. This means this passage is not the perfect words of the perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah. Thus, Allah is false, imaginary, and fictional, which means Islamic doctrine and Islam are nonsensical and false.
Who is this passage addressed?
But, Infidel, that’s easy, it’s addressed to Muslims! But it’s not. Let’s see with Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 8:25:
…refers to the Companions of the Prophet in particular.
…the speech in the Ayah was directed at the Companions.
Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 8:25
But, but, Infidel, it’s addressed to Muslims and the Companions! But the companions are long dead, like Muhammad the false prophet, dead for 1400 years. Thus, this appeal to fear fallacy is locked to Muhammad’s context, his time and place. As such it has no place in the perfect words of the perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah.
As such, the best replacement for this verse is: “”, the empty sentence.
