Koran 8:20-23

8:20 O you who have believed, obey Allah and His Messenger and do not turn from him while you hear [his order].

21 And do not be like those who say, “We have heard,” while they do not hear.

22 Indeed, the worst of living creatures in the sight of Allah are the deaf and dumb who do not use reason.

23 Had Allah known any good in them, He would have made them hear.

And if He had made them hear, they would [still] have turned away, while they were refusing.

Koran 8:20-23

Muhammad, ad nauseam: “who have believed”. Read, O you who have believed.

Muhammad spoke about Allah in the third person. This means this passage is not the perfect words of the perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah. Thus, Allah is false, imaginary, and fictional, which means Islamic doctrine and Islam are nonsensical and false.

Note Muhammad’s demand that his Muslim bandits obey him. How do Muslims alive today obey the long-dead Muhammad, except by pretence? And shouldn’t Muslims be obeying Allah, instead?

Note Muhammad’s bigotry against the hearing impaired. Muhammad calls the deaf and mute people, “the worst of living creatures”, who: “do not use reason”, and are unable to be Muslim: “they would [still] have turned away”. This is blatant bigotry by Muhammad against the deaf and the mute.

Worse, this passage shows directly that Allah either agrees with Muhammad and so is a bigot or has no power at all. Compare this with Jesus and God in Bible:

Jesus healing the deaf man.

Jesus Heals a Deaf and Mute Man

31 Then Jesus left the vicinity of Tyre and went through Sidon, down to the Sea of Galilee and into the region of the Decapolis. 32 There some people brought to him a man who was deaf and could hardly talk, and they begged Jesus to place his hand on him.

33 After he took him aside, away from the crowd, Jesus put his fingers into the man’s ears. Then he spit and touched the man’s tongue. 34 He looked up to heaven and with a deep sigh said to him, “Ephphatha!” (which means “Be opened!”). 35 At this, the man’s ears were opened, his tongue was loosened and he began to speak plainly.

36 Jesus commanded them not to tell anyone. But the more he did so, the more they kept talking about it. 37 People were overwhelmed with amazement. “He has done everything well,” they said. “He even makes the deaf hear and the mute speak.”

NIV Mark 7:31-37
Jesus heals a deaf man

You can see the radical difference. Jesus is kind and caring and cures the deaf and mute man’s hearing. Muhammad is bigoted and can’t cure the deaf. Obviously, Muhammad’s god is NOT the same as Jesus and God. Muhammad’s Allah can’t cure deafness, because Allah is a dead, broken, stone idol, with no power to heal at all.

Allah (Al Lah, Baal, Sin), the dead, broken, stone idol of Muhammad.

Muhammad’s bigotry and admission that his stone idol can’t heal, shows that Allah and Islam are nonsensical, evil and false. As such, the best replacement for this passage is: “”, the empty sentence.

  1. […] Muhammad whines: “But can you cause the deaf to hear,…”? Indeed, Muhammad couldn’t make the deaf hear, either literally or metaphorically. So this means that Muhammad knows he’s NOT aided by an omnipotent god, thus Allah is an impotent idol. Let’s compare Muhammad with Jesus, as I did earlier, in Koran 8:20-23: […]
