Koran 6:145

Say, “I do not find within that which was revealed to me [anything] forbidden to one who would eat it unless it be a dead animal or blood spilled out or the flesh of swine – for indeed, it is impure – or it be [that slaughtered in] disobedience, dedicated to other than Allah. But whoever is forced [by necessity], neither desiring [it] nor transgressing [its limit], then indeed, your Lord is Forgiving and Merciful.”

Koran 6:145

Muhammad Allah commands Muhammad to: “Say” or “Recite”. This means that this passage is addressed to Muhammad, not to all people. Thus, this passage can’t be in the perfect words of the perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah. As it is addressed to Muhammad, in his time and place, his context, this also means that this passage is locked to Muhammad’s context and can’t be in the context-free, perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah with all its perfect words. Thus, this passage is part of Muhammad’s recitation, Muhammad’s Koran, which means Islamic doctrine and Islam are incoherent and false, meaning Allah is incoherent, imaginary, fictional, and false.

Muhammad spoke about Allah in the third person. This means this passage is not the perfect words of the perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah. Thus, Allah is false, imaginary, and fictional, which means Islamic doctrine and Islam are nonsensical and false.

Muhammad admits: “I do not find within that which was revealed to me”. As we can see, this phrase comes from Muhammad, not from Allah. Worse it shows that Muhammad is creating Muhammad’s recitation, Muhammad’s Koran, and far worse, it’s in reaction to the questions of a woman, not in advance, as a true prophet could do. See Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 6:145:

A sheep belonging to Sawdah bint Zam`ah died and she said, “O Allah’s Messenger! So-and-so (sheep) has died.”

He said, “Why did you not use its skin?”

She said, “Should we use the skin of a sheep that has died?”

Allah’s Messenger said, [this verse].

Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 6:145
“So she had the sheep skinned, the skin was tanned and made into a water skin that she kept until it wore out.”

This verse is also essentially a restatement of earlier passages of the Koran dealing with Muhammad’s food restriction laws and doesn’t allow for the usage of the skin of a dead animal, that was not slaughtered.

As an example of how a real god and real prophet would have handled this situation, here’s my pathetic attempt, with the advantage of hindsight:

Sawdah bint Zam`ah, your sheep has died. Skin it, tan it, and make its skin into a water skin to refresh yourself with it.

Muslims, you may skin and tan the hides of animals that died due to disease or predation, and make them into the tools you need or want.

Pretend Allah

Compare that to the nonsense of Muhammad who shows that he’s not connected to the wisdom of a real god.

As this verse is addressed to Muhammad with “Say”, this verse doesn’t apply to anyone else. So the best replacement for this verse is: “”, the empty sentence.
