Koran 5:82-86

5:82 You will surely find the most intense of the people in animosity toward the believers [to be] the Jews and those who associate others with Allah; and you will find the nearest of them in affection to the believers those who say, “We are Christians.”

That is because among them are priests and monks and because they are not arrogant.

83 And when they hear what has been revealed to the Messenger, you see their eyes overflowing with tears because of what they have recognized of the truth.

They say, “Our Lord, we have believed, so register us among the witnesses. 84 And why should we not believe in Allah and what has come to us of the truth? And we aspire that our Lord will admit us [to Paradise] with the righteous people.”

85 So Allah rewarded them for what they said with gardens [in Paradise] beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally. And that is the reward of doers of good.

86 But those who disbelieved and denied Our signs – they are the companions of Hellfire.

Koran 5:82-86

Muhammad spoke about Allah in the third person. This means this passage is not the perfect words of the perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah. Thus, Allah is false, imaginary, and fictional, which means Islamic doctrine and Islam are nonsensical and false.

According to Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 5:82:

…these Ayat were revealed concerning a delegation that An-Najashi (King of Ethiopia) sent to the Prophet in order to hear his words and observe his qualities. When the delegation met with the Prophet and he recited the Qur’an to them, they embraced Islam, cried and were humbled.

This means that this passage is locked to Muhammad’s time and place, his context. Worse, this passage is describing their reaction, after they reacted. Thus this passage is not from the perfect words of the perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah. So Islam is false.

Muhammad claims: “you see their eyes overflowing with tears”. No one can observe these people’s “eyes overflowing with tears”, as they all died long ago, 1400 years ago. Thus this passage is not from the perfect words of the perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah. So Islam is false.

Note Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 5:82:

…refers to those who call themselves Christians, who follow the religion of the Messiah and the teachings of his Injil. These people are generally more tolerant of Islam and its people, because of the mercy and kindness that their hearts acquired through part of the Messiah’s religion.

Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 5:82

Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 5:82 admits: “[Christians] who follow the religion of the Messiah and the teachings of his Injil.” Thus the Tafsir admits that the Christians are better people because of their religion and that their religion is better than Islam, and is different from Islam. This means that Islam disagrees with Jesus and the Bible, thus Islam is false, as Islam doesn’t incorporate the teachings of Jesus in the Bible.

An emotional reaction to the words of Muhammad and his friends is not evidence of divinity at all, particularly when Muhammad puts his own imperfect words into the imperfect mouths of imperfect people who say: “We are Christians.”

Muhammad quotes the imperfect words of imperfect people: “They say, “Our Lord, we have believed, so register us among the witnesses. And why should we not believe in Allah God and what has come to us of the truth? And we aspire that our Lord will admit us [to Paradise] with the righteous people.”” Note that I replaced “Allah” with “God” in this quote, which is supported by their repeated declaration of “our Lord” which means God. You’ll see that these people are stating their belief in their God, not in Islam, not in Koran, not in Muhammad. In short, they thought that Muhammad was preaching Christianity, not Islam.

Notice that Muhammad claims these Christians are in Paradise already and those who disbelieved are in Islamic Fire, yet neither of these places happens until the Last Day. So where are they going? Obviously to Christian Heaven or Hell? And if they’re going there, then obviously Islam is false, Allah is imaginary, Muhammad is false, and the Koran is nonsense and lies.

As shown, Muhammad boasts and records that in his recitation, his Koran. Thus showing that his recitation comes from Muhammad and friends, not the perfect words of the perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah. So the best replacement for this passage is: “”, the empty sentence.
