Koran 5:72-75

5:72 They have certainly disbelieved who say, “Allah is the Messiah, the son of Mary” while the Messiah has said, “O Children of Israel, worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord.”

Indeed, he who associates others with Allah – Allah has forbidden him Paradise, and his refuge is the Fire.

And there are not for the wrongdoers any helpers.

73 They have certainly disbelieved who say, “Allah is the third of three.”

And there is no god except one God.

And if they do not desist from what they are saying, there will surely afflict the disbelievers among them a painful punishment.

74 So will they not repent to Allah and seek His forgiveness?

And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

75 The Messiah, son of Mary, was not but a messenger; [other] messengers have passed on before him.

And his mother was a supporter of truth.

They both used to eat food.

Look how We make clear to them the signs; then look how they are deluded.

Koran 5:72-75

Muhammad spoke about Allah in the third person. This means this passage is not the perfect words of the perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah. Thus, Allah is false, imaginary, and fictional, which means Islamic doctrine and Islam are nonsensical and false.

Muhammad puts his own imperfect words in the imperfect mouths of imperfect people: “They have certainly disbelieved who say, ‘Allah is the Messiah, the son of Mary'”. I don’t know of any religious group that claims this. This phrase seems to be Muhammad’s poor understanding of Christian doctrine, that Jesus is the Messiah, the son of Mary, and is one part of the trinity of God, which even Muhammad agrees with this, earlier in Muhammad’s Koran with Koran 2:253 and Koran 2:87. I believer that Muhammad got this impression from seeing early Christians praying at an icon of Mary and baby Jesus in the Kaaba, which was allowed there by the tolerant Quraysh.

Mary and baby Jesus

Now note, this means that Allah is NOT the messiah, and it’s admitted here by Muhammad. As the Jewish and Christian messiah comes from YHWH/God, this means Muhammad’s Allah is different from YHWH/God and thus Allah is false, incoherent, fictional and imaginary.

Muhammad lied: “the Messiah has said, “O Children of Israel, worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord.”” Let’s check in the Bible and confirm:

Feel free to use the search function for other phrases to confirm that Muhammad lied. Now let’s check what Jesus said in the Bible:

30 “I and the Father are one.”

NIV John 10:30

Seems pretty clear, right? Perhaps you doubt this? The Jews agreed that Jesus was claiming to be God with:

33 “We [Jews] are not stoning you for any good work,” they replied, “but for blasphemy, because you [Jesus], a mere man, claim to be God.”

NIV John 10:33

So as you can see, it’s confirmed that Muhammad is the liar here.

Also note that Jesus supposedly states: “O Children of Israel, worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord.” So why is the statement of “Jesus” in the perfect Qur’an, the perfect words of perfect Allah? I thought Allah was one and didn’t have Jesus with him in Islamic Heaven.

Muhammad confirms that Allah is himself with: “They [Jesus and Mary] both used to eat food. Look how We [Muhammad and Allah] make clear to them the signs”. The “signs” here are that Jesus and Mary used to eat food, so meaning that they were merely human and not divine. But, a god can obviously visit Earth and eat food while in human form, as shown in Torah, Genesis 18. In fact, a god that can’t eat food shows it’s an idol, incompetent and false. This means that Allah is imaginary, incoherent with reality, fictional and false. Muhammad commits shirk by assigning a place to Allah beside himself, inside his own mind.

Muhammad denies Allah with: “And there is no god except one[,] God.” If Muhammad really did believe in one god, then why leave out “Allah”, and instead said “God”? Instead, Muhammad unwittingly shows that Allah is false.

These shirk, lies and nonsense from Muhammad show that Allah is imaginary, fictional, incoherent and false, that Islamic doctrine is incoherent and nonsensical, and Islam is false, and incoherent with reality. Thus the best replacement for this passage is: “”, the empty sentence.
