Koran 4:34

Men are in charge of women by [right of] what Allah has given one over the other and what they spend [for maintenance] from their wealth.

So righteous women are devoutly obedient, guarding in [the husband’s] absence what Allah would have them guard.

But those [wives] from whom you fear arrogance – [first] advise them; [then if they persist], forsake them in bed; and [finally], strike them.

But if they obey you [once more], seek no means against them.

Indeed, Allah is ever Exalted and Grand.

Koran 4:34

Muhammad spoke about Allah in the third person. This means this passage is not the perfect words of the perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah. Thus, Allah is false, imaginary, and fictional, which means Islamic doctrine and Islam are nonsensical and false.

Note especially “men” not “husband”, and “women” not “wife”. Also, notice the sexism of Muhammad.

Also, note how the translator tries to make the violence less by adding in words that aren’t there. Here’s the verse with the translator’s additional words removed:

Men are in charge of women by what Allah has given one over the other and what they spend from their wealth.

So righteous women are devoutly obedient, guarding in absence what Allah would have them guard.

But those from whom you fear arrogance – advise them; forsake them in bed; and strike them.

But if they obey you, seek no means against them.

Indeed, Allah is ever Exalted and Grand.

Translator [words] removed, Koran 4:34

This is the infamous verse that Muhammad created justifying the beating and striking of women for no crime and with great injustice. This verse leads to men being violent not just to their wives and girls, but also to other women and girls not related to them. This gross evil and injustice show that Allah is incoherent with justice and so is imaginary and fictional, that Muhammad is a liar and a misogynist, and Islam is unjust, punishing women for no crime.

The Most Problematic Verse in the Koran.

The best replacement for this evil verse is: “”, the empty sentence.
