Koran 3:121-123

3:121 And [remember] when you, [O Muhammad], left your family in the morning to post the believers at their stations for the battle [of Uhud] – and Allah is Hearing and Knowing – 122 When two parties among you were about to lose courage, but Allah was their ally; and upon Allah the believers should rely.

123 And already had Allah given you victory at [the battle of] Badr while you were few in number.

Then fear Allah; perhaps you will be grateful.

Koran 3:121-123

Muhammad spoke about Allah in the third person. This means this passage is not the perfect words of the perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah. Thus, Allah is false, imaginary, and fictional, which means Islamic doctrine and Islam are nonsensical and false.

Muhammad is talking about his time and place, his context: “when you, [O Muhammad], left your family in the morning to post the believers at their stations”. These are obviously not the perfect words of the perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah. Instead, this is Muhammad remembering and replaying a success in his mind and later, his words.

The Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 3:121, exposes Muhammad as a false prophet:

The Prophet wore two protective shields…

Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 3:121

Muhammad didn’t die in battle, but due to poison as a false prophet. Thus you can see that Muhammad is a false prophet from his actions in battle, protecting himself twice as much as his Muslim bandits.

Muhammad doesn’t know the future: “perhaps you will be grateful.” Again, Muhammad shows himself as a false prophet.

This nonsense along with tafsir shows that Muhammad was an ineffectual commander before and in battle, who relied upon luck, rather than effective coordination and discouraged his men by over-reliance upon TWO shields for protection. This reliance upon luck and fate, upon ineffective commanders who lead by rote, has hampered Islamic countries for over 1400 years. See Armies of Sand for more about ineffectual Islamic armies, that often collapse and fail.

…politicization and underdevelopment were both important factors limiting Arab military effectiveness, but patterns of behavior derived from the dominant Arab culture was the most important factor of all.

Armies of Sand

That “dominant Arab culture” is Islam, Islam which limits the effectiveness of Muslim armies and its patterns originate from the bad examples of Muhammad. Thus you can see that the best replacement for this passage is: “” the empty sentence.
