Koran 2:229-230

2:229 Divorce is twice.

Then, either keep [her] in an acceptable manner or release [her] with good treatment.

And it is not lawful for you to take anything of what you have given them unless both fear that they will not be able to keep [within] the limits of Allah.

But if you fear that they will not keep [within] the limits of Allah, then there is no blame upon either of them concerning that by which she ransoms herself.

These are the limits of Allah, so do not transgress them.

And whoever transgresses the limits of Allah – it is those who are the wrongdoers.

230 And if he has divorced her [for the third time], then she is not lawful to him afterward until [after] she marries a husband other than him.

And if the latter husband divorces her [or dies], there is no blame upon the woman and her former husband for returning to each other if they think that they can keep [within] the limits of Allah.

These are the limits of Allah, which He makes clear to a people who know.

Koran 2:229-230

Muhammad spoke about Allah in the third person. This means this passage is not the perfect words of the perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah. Thus, Allah is false, imaginary, and fictional, which means Islamic doctrine and Islam are nonsensical and false.

Notice the lie from Muhammad: “Divorce is twice.” Divorce in Islam is actually 3. Triple Talaq. Muhammad’s own words confirm this: “Divorce is twice (2). Then,… release (3) [her] with good treatment.” And again here, in a stunning display of incompetence:

2:229 Divorce is twice.

Then, either keep [her] in an acceptable manner or release [her] with good treatment.

230 And if he has divorced her [for the third time], then she is not lawful to him afterward until [after] she marries a husband other than him.

Excerpts, Koran 2:229-230

Note that this verse incorporates earlier pagan customs, where divorce could be 100 times or more during the waiting period – it was used by capricious men to torment women. See Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 2:229:

…abrogated the previous practice in the beginning of Islam, when the man had the right to take back his divorced wife even if he had divorced her a hundred times, as long as she was still in her `Iddah (waiting period). This situation was harmful for the wife,…

Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 2:229:

Decreasing from 100 or more, or even 111 divorces down to just three divorces is an obvious modification of earlier pagan polytheist culture and is admitted to in the Tafsir. This polygamy is due to the influence of Sin, the Bull and cattle god from Ur, Mesopotamia. Where? One bull, many cows, where the bull drives out cows he doesn’t want. Muhammad’s practice is a simplification of Sin worship. In both Judaism and in Christianity, there’s is only one divorce possible, which reflects the divine oneness of YHWH/God. Thus, by this triple divorce alone, we see that Allah is not even one, but is none.

If Muhammad had been brave, he’d have made marriage as in Judaism and Christianity, one man and one woman, for all time. This then agrees with Islamic Tawhid, from one man and one woman, combined into one unity, the married couple, tawhid! But Muhammad was incompetent and a coward and incorporates pagan custom into his Islam, showing Islam, Allah and Koran are false.

The best replacement for this passage is: “”, the empty sentence.
