Koran 2:194

[Fighting in] the sacred month is for [aggression committed in] the sacred month, and for [all] violations is legal retribution. So whoever has assaulted you, then assault him in the same way that he has assaulted you. And fear Allah and know that Allah is with those who fear Him.

Koran 2:194

This is the same evil nonsense from Koran 2:178-179, specifying revenge for revenge, instead of being fair and implementing justice and rule of law. This contradicts the ignorant notion that Islam is the “religion of peace”. This verse shows Islam is about brutal revenge. Gandhi founded a system or religion of peace. It’s far better than Islam. There’s a Gandhi peace award which has this:

They shall beat their swords into plowshares

and their spears into pruning hooks;

nation shall not lift up sword against nation,

neither shall they learn war any more.

Gandhi peace award

But, Infidel, this verse is about self-defence, not revenge! Muhammad contradicts you with: “…then assault him…”. Self-defence is about stopping the attack, negotiating to reduce aggression, removing yourself from the attack (AKA run away), defending against an attack, like parrying a weapon, blocking a punch, and interdicting weapons and supplies, like air and other pre-emptive strikes against ammunition, explosives, fuel stocks and missile dumps and military vehicles and armour. Nothing about assaulting another after they assault first.

This verse by Muhammad (not even pretending to be Allah) incorporates revenge culture from earlier pagan customs (the pagan tribes of Saudi Arabia practiced revenge attacks against each other) into Islam, the supposed religion of peace. This verse is obviously out of place and leads to revenge attacks and the promotion of war instead of the promotion of peace. As such, it’s not the perfect words of the perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah. Thus the best replacement is: “”, the empty sentence.
