Koran 2:180-182

2:180 Prescribed for you when death approaches [any] one of you if he leaves wealth [is that he should make] a bequest for the parents and near relatives according to what is acceptable – a duty upon the righteous.

181 Then whoever alters the bequest after he has heard it – the sin is only upon those who have altered it.

Indeed, Allah is Hearing and Knowing.

182 But if one fears from the bequeather [some] error or sin and corrects that which is between them, there is no sin upon him.

Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

Koran 2:180-182

According to Muslim scholars, this passage is abrogated by Koran 4:7. Thus you know this can’t be the perfect words of the perfect Qur’an of perfect Allah or else Muslims scholars are wrong, and thus Koran 4:7 must be a forgery, and so can’t be the perfect words of the perfect Qur’an of perfect Allah. This contradiction shows that Muhammad’s Koran is incoherent and contradictory and thus false. Thus you know Islam and Islamic doctrine are false.

“…when death approaches [any] one of you…”

Note that this passage assumes that Muslims will know when “Death” approaches and that they will know to take action before “Death” arrives. If the Muslim dies through accident, battle, or murder, how will they know that “Death” approaches before becoming suddenly dead from a sword blow, fall, or accident? This verse might be right if the Muslim dies from an illness that is known to be fatal and takes a while, but that’s all.

Note that “…according to what is acceptable…” is not described or prescribed here. Muhammad assumes his bandits already knew what was acceptable, but you and I don’t know this. Thus this passage is incomplete, and needs to describe what is “acceptable”. As Muhammad is dead, he can’t be consulted for what is “acceptable” and obviously imaginary Allah doesn’t provide this. The phrase “what is acceptable” refers to Quraysh custom, thus importing Quraysh pagan beliefs into Islam. Thus you know Islam is rooted in pagan polytheism, not in the Abrahamic religions.

Note Muhammad’s evil in allowing the inheritance to be changed: “…if one fears from the bequeather [some] error or sin and corrects that which is between them…”. So your friend died in battle and let you know that he wanted his loot to be given to his wives and children, you could dispute that simply by stating that your friend was really a polytheist, and so take everything for yourself. Obviously, this is completely unfair, but Muhammad allows no changing of this.

So we know that the best replacement for this passage is: “”, the empty sentence.
