Koran 2:145

And if you brought to those who were given the Scripture every sign, they would not follow your qiblah.

Nor will you be a follower of their qiblah.

Nor would they be followers of one another’s qiblah.

So if you were to follow their desires after what has come to you of knowledge, indeed, you would then be among the wrongdoers.

Koran 2:145

This passage is addressed to Muhammad from Muhammad pretending to be Allah. As such, this means that this passage is not the perfect words of the perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah. Thus, Allah is false, imaginary, and fictional, which means Muhammad, the Koran, Islamic doctrine, and Islam are nonsensical and false.

This is simply Muhammad talking to himself and excusing his lack of “signs”. It’s a common Islamic apologetic tactic to claim that Muhammad’s Koran is a book of signs, and here’s Muhammad admitting he doesn’t have signs. How do we know this? Because there are no signs, except the lies of Muhammad. There’s not even one perfect word of the perfect words of perfect Qur’an of perfect Allah here at all. Muhammad simply gave up pretending to be Allah.

Let’s assume Muhammad was right, and Allah needed to change the direction of prayer to Muhammad’s Mecca and the Kaaba. So why can’t Allah inform the Jews and the Christians that they needed to pray to a small trading town in Saudi Arabia, as that is apparently more important now than Jerusalem, the city of God?

Then God said, “Take your son, your only son, whom you love—Isaac—and go to the region of Moriah [Jerusalem]. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on a mountain [Temple Mount] I will show you.”

NIV Genesis 22:2

Jerusalem is the place where Jesus was brought as a child, to be “presented” at the Temple (Luke 2:22) and to attend festivals (Luke 2:41). According to the Gospels, Jesus preached and healed in Jerusalem, especially in the Temple courts. There is also an account of Jesus’ “cleansing” of the Temple, chasing various traders out of the sacred precincts (Mark 11:15). At the end of each of the Gospels, there are accounts of Jesus’ Last Supper in an “upper room” in Jerusalem, his arrest in Gethsemane, his trial, his crucifixion at Golgotha, his burial nearby and his resurrection and ascension.

So the best replacement for this verse is: “”, the empty sentence.
