Koran 2:104-105

2:104 O you who have believed, say not [to Allah ‘s Messenger], “Ra’ina”

but say, “Unthurna” and listen.

And for the disbelievers is a painful punishment.

105 Neither those who disbelieve from the People of the Scripture nor the polytheists wish that any good should be sent down to you from your Lord.

But Allah selects for His mercy whom He wills, and Allah is the possessor of great bounty.

Koran 2:104-105

Muhammad, ad nauseam: “who have believed”. Read, O you who have believed.

Muhammad spoke about Allah in the third person. This means this passage is not the perfect words of the perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah. Thus, Allah is false, imaginary, and fictional, which means Islamic doctrine and Islam are nonsensical and false.

What are “Ra’ina” and “Unthurna”? The translators seem very unhelpful here. I checked with Quran Corpus and all the translations and translators seem to vary on this topic.

O you who have believed, say not [to Allah ‘s Messenger], “Ra’ina” but say, “Unthurna” and listen. And for the disbelievers is a painful punishment.

Sahih International

O ye who believe, say not (unto the Prophet): “Listen to us” but say “Look upon us,” and be ye listeners. For disbelievers is a painful doom.

Pickthall

O ye of Faith! Say not (to the Messenger) words of ambiguous import, but words of respect; and hearken (to him): To those without Faith is a grievous punishment.

Yusuf Ali

O you who believe! do not say Raina and say Unzurna and listen, and for the unbelievers there is a painful chastisement.

Shakir

Believers, do not address the Prophet as ra’ina (whereby the Jews, in their own accent, meant: Would that you would never hear, but call him unzurna) (meaning: Please speak to us slowly so that we understand), and then listen. The unbelievers will face a painful torment.

Muhammad Sarwar

O you who believe! Say not (to the Messenger Peace be upon him ) Ra’ina but say Unzurna (Do make us understand) and hear. And for the disbelievers there is a painful torment. (See Verse 4:46)

Mohsin Khan

O believers, do not say, ‘Observe us,’ but say, ‘Regard us’; and give ear; for unbelievers awaits a painful chastisement.

Arberry

Obviously, this is unclear, thus Allah’s incompetence shows Muhammad is Allah, Allah is Muhammad, which means Islam and Koran are false.

Later, a footnote appeared, which claims:

The word “rāʿinā” in Arabic literally means “consider us,” i.e., give us time to hear you and listen to us. The Jews used to use the same word with the meaning of an insult. Therefore, the believers were ordered to avoid this expression and use instead the word “unẓurnā,” i.e., “wait for us [so that we may understand].”

It looks like the Jews were mocking Muhammad by saying “raina” to him and so insulting him. And of course, Muhammad is long dead for 1400 years, so Muslims can’t say to Muhammad “raina”, “unthurna” or whatever. Nor can Muslims listen to Muhammad.

Note that Muhammad here shows that the god of the Jews and the Christians “your Lord” differs from his imaginary god “Allah”. Note that a perfect god, writing the perfect words of his perfect Qur’an would never make this trivial mistake. Thus this sentence from Muhammad contradicts the Islamic doctrine that imaginary Allah is the god of the Jews and the Christians. Muhammad shows that Allah is a false god, and he’s a liar.

Notice that Muhammad admits:

Neither those who disbelieve from the People of the Scripture nor the polytheists wish that any good should be sent down to you from your Lord.

Excerpt, Koran 2:105

It looks like the wish of the “People of the Scripture” and the Quraysh has always been true. What “good” has ever come from Allah? For Muslims?

Note that Muhammad promises a bounty from Allah, which shows that Muhammad orders Allah around. And of course, there’s no bounty from Allah.

Also, note that Muhammad forgets to speak as Allah, “But Allah selects for His mercy whom He wills”. Again, the imperfect words of Muhammad should not be in perfect Allah’s perfect Qur’an. So the best replacement for this passage is: “”, the empty sentence.
