Koran 2:84-86

2:84 And [recall] when We took your covenant, [saying], “Do not shed each other’s blood or evict one another from your homes.”

Then you acknowledged [this] while you were witnessing.

85 Then, you are those [same ones who are] killing one another and evicting a party of your people from their homes, cooperating against them in sin and aggression.

And if they come to you as captives, you ransom them, although their eviction was forbidden to you.

So do you believe in part of the Scripture and disbelieve in part?

Then what is the recompense for those who do that among you except disgrace in worldly life; and on the Day of Resurrection they will be sent back to the severest of punishment.

And Allah is not unaware of what you do.

86 Those are the ones who have bought the life of this world [in exchange] for the Hereafter, so the punishment will not be lightened for them, nor will they be aided.

Koran 2:84-86

Muhammad spoke about Allah in the third person. This means this passage is not the perfect words of the perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah. Thus, Allah is false, imaginary, and fictional, which means Islamic doctrine and Islam are nonsensical and false.

Notice also the translator addition: “[recall]”. Obviously, this links this passage to Muhammad’s time and place, his context, to his Muslim bandits. How do I and others not there, “[recall]”?

This is Muhammad, not Allah, talking to his Muslim bandits, inciting them to violence, by claiming that the Jews were being unfair and corrupt. Instead, charitably, it’s simply Muhammad not understanding the rules of warfare at the time. The three Jewish tribes in the area were allied to different pagan tribes of Arabs and often assisted them in the frequent wars against each other’s tribes. Naturally in battle, the combatants couldn’t tell who was a Jew and who was an Arab, pagan or Muslim, until after one side realised they were defeated and cried out, acknowledging defeat and pledging ransom for their lives. So of course, being at peace now, murder is wrong, so the Jews arranged ransoms between themselves, as they knew life was precious, and because they knew the pagan and Muslim Arab tribes would soon be fighting each yet again, and wanting allies. This kind of tribal warfare was a good war for young men to be bold and brave and to enrich themselves from the foes they defeated, and was probably quite popular, despite Muhammad’s opposition. Muhammad clearly wanted his Muslim bandits to not surrender, and not desire life by buying life with a ransom when defeated in battle.

So just to be clear here Muslims, Muhammad is essentially urging you to fight to the death for Islam, for the false god, Allah, who’s proven false right here by Muhammad speaking for Allah, instead of Allah speaking. Muhammad wants you, Muslims, to die for him. You know that Muhammad doesn’t care about you. Muhammad would rather you be dead than be alive and shows that here.

The best replacement for this verse is: “”, the empty sentence.
