Koran 2:62-64

2:62 Indeed, those who believed and those who were Jews or Christians or Sabeans [before Prophet Muhammad] – those [among them] who believed in Allah and the Last Day and did righteousness – will have their reward with their Lord, and no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve.

63 And [recall] when We took your covenant, [O Children of Israel, to abide by the Torah] and We raised over you the mount, [saying], “Take what We have given you with determination and remember what is in it that perhaps you may become righteous.”

64 Then you turned away after that.

And if not for the favor of Allah upon you and His mercy, you would have been among the losers.

Koran 2:62-64

Muhammad spoke about Allah in the third person. This means this passage is not the perfect words of the perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah. Thus, Allah is false, imaginary, and fictional, which means Islamic doctrine and Islam are nonsensical and false.

Muhammad commits shirk with: “We”, “Us” or “Our”, placing Allah as a companion to himself, showing that Allah is incoherent, imaginary, and fictional, and so Islam is incoherent with monotheism, thus Islam is contradictory and false.

Who are the “Sabaeans“? It’s quite likely that Muhammad inherited the traditions of the Sabaeans into Islam, and later they became extinct, being conquered and converted to Islam by Muhammad’s descendants. Yet, we still have Jews and Christians. So obviously this passage is for Muhammad’s time and place, Muhammad’s context, and has no place in a timeless, context-free text from Allah, where the Sabaeans should still exist and their religion is a major religion like Judaism and Christianity. Also, note Muhammad’s whining as well.

But perhaps you have heard of the Sabian Mandaeans? Are these the same as the Sabaeans, perhaps? Well, their prophet is John the Baptist, not Muhammad, and not Jesus. And worse, some Muslims attack them for NOT being people of the Book.

So why isn’t there a picture of the Sabaeans? They’re gone.

The best replacement for this passage is: “”, the empty sentence.
