Koran 2:28

How can you disbelieve in Allah when you were lifeless and He brought you to life; then He will cause you to die, then He will bring you [back] to life, and then to Him you will be returned.

Koran 2:28
A baby in its mother’s womb together with the ultrasound image showing the living baby.

You were never “lifeless” in your mother’s womb or even during birth. Your father’s sperm was living when it entered your mother’s living egg and formed the living fertilised egg that grew and divided repeatedly to become a living embryo, living fetus, living baby born from your mother’s womb, who grew to become the living person you are.

Sperm and Egg Fertilisation
Carry on with life, enjoy marriage, lust, sex, love, living sperm meets living egg, producing a living fertilised egg, living fetus, living baby. A new life, that was never lifeless, a life that never came from Allah, but from you and your partner, together.

This verse is simply an ignorant lie from Muhammad, who never thought to feel a woman’s belly when she was pregnant, to feel the life within, stirring and moving, occasionally kicking the mother by accident. Allah has no power over life. Allah also has no power over death. Death comes not as a god, Allah, nor as an angel of death (as later Muhammad lied), but as simply a failure of life to continue living, as the patterns we call life can be fatally disrupted by accident or intentional murder.

You and your marriage partner will create this life from yourself and your partner. Enjoy your power over life and be a good parent.

The part about Muhammad having Allah bring you back to life after your death? Just one of Muhammad’s delusions, which I explain here: Creation and Repeat Creation.

The best replacement for this verse is: “”, the empty sentence.
