Koran 2:19-20

2:19 Or [it is] like a rainstorm from the sky within which is darkness, thunder and lightning.

They put their fingers in their ears against the thunderclaps in dread of death.

But Allah is encompassing of the disbelievers.

20 The lightning almost snatches away their sight.

Every time it lights [the way] for them, they walk therein; but when darkness comes over them, they stand [still].

And if Allah had willed, He could have taken away their hearing and their sight.

Indeed, Allah is over all things competent.

Koran 2:19-20
Lightning (and thunder)

Notice the evil threat of Muhammad with: “And if Allah had willed, He could have taken away their hearing and their sight.” This shows that this passage comes from Muhammad, not from a real god, and shows that Allah is Baal, the rain god, and idol. Now let’s assume that Allah is real. Why does Muhammad need to rely upon a thunderstorm to “demonstrate” the power of Baal AKA Allah? Surely Allah, if real, can destroy the eyes of people at any time, like Muhammad did in reality?

Some people raided the camels of the Messenger of Allah [SAW]. He had their hands and feet cut off and their eyes gouged out.

Sunan an-Nasa’i 4039

But, Infidel, this isn’t authentic! It’s Sahih, and it’s so authentic and part of Sharia, that the authorities in Saudi Arabia still repeat this cruel act as punishment:

…Noushad’s case is the third known instance over the past year in which a Saudi court has issued a sentence of eye-gouging, Human Rights Watch said. Saudi law allows for maiming, including the severing of limbs and severe flogging, as judicial punishments.

HRW, Saudi Arabia: Court Orders Eye to Be Gouged Out

Notice Muhammad’s failure in ascribing severing limbs to thunderstorms, thus showing Muhammad’s severing of limbs exceeds Allah’s claimed abilities as lightning and thunder in a storm. Ask yourself, since when has Allah ever deafened someone? Blinded someone? Cut the foot or feet off someone? Cut the hand or hands off someone? Compare with Jesus and God in the Bible, Jesus healed the deaf, the blind, the lame, and the sick. Who’s a better man? At the very least, it’s obvious Jesus is far better than Muhammad.

Lightning is frightening and can be dangerous. We know why storms create rain, wind, shadow, darkness, and lightning and why lightning creates thunder. We protect against these dangers and build our civilisation to withstand the damage of storms, wind, and lightning, and we can and do repair the damage done.

In the future, we will guide storms away from cities, to safely discharge their power at sea or over plains, where few will be adversely affected, through climate changing, space-based technology. How? By having Mylar mirrors in orbit around our Earth, shading the water surface, to guide and dissipate storms, while also providing lots of clean, green energy, for everyone. Here’s one example patent:

Note that Muhammad knows that the thunderclap while deafening, isn’t permanent. Its damage is temporary at worst. Note that Muhammad is again limited by his context and his technology. He assumed that believers would be listening to him, not reading the words of Allah or Muhammad pretending to be Allah. Muhammad didn’t realise he would die. As we know that Allah doesn’t create thunderstorms, we know that Allah is imaginary. Thus the best replacement passage is: “”, the empty sentence.
