Was Jesus a Muslim?

Was Jesus a Muslim? Let’s check:

  • Jesus never said the shahada;
  • Jesus never prayed to “Allah” but He called God His “Father”;
  • Jesus claimed to be the Son of God;
  • Jesus did miracles;
  • Jesus never bowed toward Mecca;
  • Jesus never mentioned the importance of the Kaaba or the pagan black fertility stone;
  • Jesus never prayed repeating the same words or phrases over and over again (Matthew 6:7);
  • Jesus never did Ramadan fasting and feasting at night;
  • Jesus never did Jihad, his kingdom is not of this world (John 18:36);
  • Jesus never hated His oppressive enemies, in fact, he loved the Romans and healed their servant (Matthew 8:8-10);
  • Jesus never did stoning, terrorism or torture;
  • Jesus never did a pilgrimage of pagan Hajj;
  • Jesus prayed looking toward heaven (Mark 6:41, John 17:1);
  • Jesus drank wine (Matthew 26:27-29);
  • Jesus prayed in privacy (Matthew 6:5-6);
  • Jesus didn’t have a wife or multiple wives – polygamy (Genesis 2:24);
  • Jesus didn’t marry a child (Sunan Abi Dawud 2121);
  • Jesus never had slaves;
  • Jesus never told anybody to say “SAW” or “PBUH” after the mention or writing of a prophet’s name;
  • Jesus advocated reading from the written scriptures (Matthew 21:42);
  • Jesus never raped anyone;
  • Jesus didn’t torture anyone (Sahih al-Bukhari 6803);
  • Jesus didn’t commit genocide (Sahih al-Bukhari 2926);
  • Jesus never committed Jihad;
  • Jesus instituted a New Covenant (Matthew 26:28);
  • Jesus died on the cross, (John 2:19-21, Matthew 27:42);
  • Jesus rose from the dead! (Luke 24:44-48);
  • Jesus did not promote sex in heaven (Matthew 22:29-30);
  • Jesus followed in the footsteps of people whom the Qur’an refers to as “the worst” (Koran 98:6);
  • Jesus built a church (Matthew 16:18), not a mosque;
  • Jesus said He is the Son of God (John 10:36);
  • God the Father declared Jesus to be His Son (Matthew 17:5);
  • Jesus is God (Revelation 21:6-7);
  • His mother followed Jewish purification laws (Luke 2:24);
  • Jesus taught us to love our enemies (Luke 6:27) not to kill them (Koran 9:29 & 98:6).

Most importantly Muhammad denies being a prophet in his Koran 88:21.
