Some Muslim demand respect for Koran. Respect is earned, not given. Should I respect Koran more than Allah? Obviously not, right? Obviously, Allah demands more respect than the printed words on paper made in China.

I can’t read Arabic, nor do I understand spoken Arabic. Yet, Allah expects me to listen and understand Muhammad the speaker for Allah the idol:
And if We had made it a foreign [i.e., non-Arabic] Qur’ān, they would have said, “Why are its verses not explained in detail [in our language]? Is it a foreign [recitation] and an Arab [messenger]?”
Say, “It is, for those who believe, a guidance and cure.”
And those who do not believe – in their ears is deafness, and it is upon them blindness.
Those are being called from a distant place.
Koran 41:44
So why should I read an Arabic Koran, as I’m not an Arab or Arabic reader? So why should I listen to the dead Muhammad, who can’t speak Arabic?
So, [O Muḥammad], We have only made it [i.e., the Qur’ān] easy in your tongue [i.e., the Arabic language] that you may give good tidings thereby to the righteous and warn thereby a hostile people.
Koran 19:97
And We did not send any messenger except [speaking] in the language of his people to state clearly for them, and Allāh sends astray [thereby] whom He wills1 and guides whom He wills.
And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
Koran 14:4
And We certainly know that they say, “It is only a human being who teaches him [i.e., the Prophet].”
The tongue of the one they refer to is foreign, and this [recitation, i.e., Qur’ān] is [in] a clear Arabic language.
Koran 16:103

Respect the Koran?

No respect for the Koran.
Muhammad was a false prophet, for a false god, Allah, for a false religion, Islam, without even a false book, the Koran.
