Imagine that the Muslim apologists are right, that Allah really is GOD. YHWH. What would the Koran, the Quraysh Qeryana, look like, if it were really from GOD as Allah, with Muhammad as a Christian priest, scholar and Christian church father? Muhammad goes to the dark cave, gets assaulted by the demon Jibril, and flees in panic. Instead of meeting his wife, Khadija and “uncle” Waraqa (his father), he bumps into a wandering Christian priest returning to Jerusalem. The priest consoles the panicked Muhammad and takes him to Jerusalem, where he is healed of his possession in the Pool of Bethesda. Then, in Syria, Muhammad becomes a novice, a priest, and later returns to his home, Mecca, as a Christian preacher. There, he preaches against idolatry, builds a Christian church, and dies as an old man and an Arabic Church Father. His followers collect his sayings and write the Quraysh Qeryana, a collection of the sayings of Muhammad about and from the Bible. This is what this alternative history “Koran” could have looked like:
