But after a few days Waraqa died and the Divine Inspiration was also paused for a while and the Prophet became so sad as we have heard that he intended several times to throw himself from the tops of high mountains and every time he went up the top of a mountain in order to throw himself down, Gabriel would appear before him and say, “O Muhammad! You are indeed Allah’s Messenger in truth” whereupon his heart would become quiet and he would calm down and would return home.
And whenever the period of the coming of the inspiration used to become long, he would do as before, but when he used to reach the top of a mountain, Gabriel would appear before him and say to him what he had said before.
Excerpt, Sahih al-Bukhari 6982
Getting back to Muhammad’s depression:
An Aged Father!
He suppresses grief, and so his eyes become white (with cataracts).

And he turned away from them and said, “Oh, my sorrow over Joseph,” and his eyes became white from grief, for he was [of that] a suppressor.
Koran 12:84
He said, “I only complain of my suffering and my grief to Allāh, and I know from Allāh that which you do not know.
Koran 12:86
The speaker is supposedly Jacob, the father of Joseph, but the words are all from Muhammad and are about his father, Waraqa.
A New Daughter!
His face becomes dark, and he suppresses grief (over the birth of a daughter).

And when one of them is informed of [the birth of] a female, his face becomes dark, and he suppresses grief.
Koran 16:58
This is supposedly about an anonymous member of Muhammad’s tribe, but these words are from Muhammad.
And when one of them is given good tidings of that which he attributes to the Most Merciful in comparison [i.e., a daughter], his face becomes dark, and he suppresses grief.
Koran 43:17
Muhammad repeats himself, showing this is about himself, not someone else.
No One Listens (to my lies)!

And be patient, [O Muhammad], and your patience is not but through Allah. And do not grieve over them and do not be in distress over what they conspire.
Koran 16:127
Then perhaps you would kill yourself through grief over them, [O Muhammad], if they do not believe in this message, [and] out of sorrow.
Koran 18:6
Perhaps, [O Muhammad], you would kill yourself with grief that they will not be believers.
Koran 26:3
Then is one to whom the evil of his deed has been made attractive so he considers it good [like one rightly guided]?
For indeed, Allah sends astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills.
So do not let yourself perish over them in regret.
Indeed, Allah is Knowing of what they do.
Koran 35:8
Allah or “We” consoles Muhammad in self-preservation – without Muhammad, Allah and “We” have no host to give them life and a lying mouth to speak. For more, see Muhammad the Three.
Muhammad’s Tears!

There has certainly come to you a Messenger from among yourselves.
Grievous to him is what you suffer; [he is] concerned over you [i.e., your guidance] and to the believers is kind and merciful.
Koran 9:128
Muhammad was a false prophet, for a false god, Allah, for a false religion, Islam, without even a false book, the Koran.
