Koran – Tablets

Muhammad’s Koran mentions tablets. Let’s see why Muhammad didn’t have tablets. After all, Moses had tablets from GOD.

Two Tablets for Moses

Moses and the Decalogue.

Notice that “We” claims to write on the tablets.

And We wrote for him on the tablets [something] of all things – instruction and explanation for all things, [saying], “Take them with determination and order your people to take the best of it. I will show you the home of the defiantly disobedient.”

Koran 7:145

What language do you think “We” or Jibril writes? Obviously not Arabic, right?

And later, Muhammad tells us:

And when Moses returned to his people, angry and grieved, he said, “How wretched is that by which you have replaced me after [my departure]. Were you impatient over the matter of your Lord?”

And he threw down the tablets and seized his brother by [the hair of] his head, pulling him toward him.

[Aaron] said, “O son of my mother, indeed the people overpowered me and were about to kill me, so let not the enemies rejoice over me and do not place me among the wrongdoing people.”

Koran 7:150

I had thought that the tablets were destroyed then, but fear not, Muhammad reassures us:

And when the anger subsided in Moses, he took up the tablets; and in their inscription was guidance and mercy for those who are fearful of their Lord.

Koran 7:154

So the two tablets were saved from destruction. Muhammad even praises the writing.

In Muhammad’s Lap

Muslim man with a better tablet than Muhammad.

85:21 But this is an honored Qur’ān 22 [Inscribed] in a Preserved Slate.

Koran 85:21-22

Notice that the “Preserved Slate” is not preserved.

Obviously not this kind of slate.

This is likely Muhammad reacting to a written Koran on parchment, placed on a writing tablet that scribes of his time used, in his lap. Muhammad didn’t have a writing table. Here’s how Allah could have instructed Muhammad on how to make a writing table (I used AI):

Here’s a compact tutorial for crafting a small writing desk using dried mud bricks and date palm logs:

🛠️ Mud Brick & Palm Log Writing Desk Tutorial

🌿 Materials Needed

  • Dried mud bricks (approx. 12–16, depending on size)
  • Date palm logs (2 long for the tabletop, 2–4 short for support)
  • Natural fiber rope or twine (optional, for binding)
  • Clay or mud mortar (for stability)
  • Flat stone slab or wooden board (optional, for smoother writing surface)

🧱 Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Prepare the Foundation

  • Choose a flat, dry area.
  • Lay 4 mud bricks in a rectangle (2 per side) to form one leg base.
  • Repeat for the second leg base, spaced about 60–80 cm apart (desk width).

2. Build the Legs

  • Stack 2–3 mud bricks vertically on each base to reach desired desk height (~70–80 cm).
  • Use mud mortar between bricks for stability.
  • Let dry and harden for several hours or overnight.

3. Create the Tabletop

  • Place 2 long date palm logs across the tops of the brick legs.
  • Ensure they’re level and secure—use twine or notch the bricks to hold them in place.
  • Optionally, lay a flat stone slab or wooden board atop the logs for a smoother writing surface.

4. Stabilize the Structure

  • Add short palm logs diagonally or horizontally between the legs for bracing.
  • Bind with twine or embed into the mud mortar.

5. Finishing Touches

  • Smooth the tabletop with sand or cloth.
  • Decorate with natural motifs—pressed leaves, carved symbols, or painted clay.

This tutorial fits within Muhammad’s technology base and allows group effort for writing the Koran. Yet, this significant improvement for Muhammad was not made by Allah.

Koran on Tablets

Uthman Taha wrote one of many Koran textual variants with his own hand.

I used AI to estimate how Allah, if real, could have provided Muhammad with the Koran on stone tablets:

There are 77,797 words in the Quran.

The Complete Quran Word Frequency List

Using roughly A3-sized tablets, with about 100 words per tablet, Muhammad, sorry, Allah would need to provide around 778 tablets to hold Muhammad’s Allah’s Koran. That’s without versification.

You’ll note that these tablets, these preserved tablets, are not provided by Allah, despite the demand for them by Muhammad’s tribe and by the Jews. I can only conclude that they have been lost, corrupted, or are dust.

Or more likely, they’re non-existent as Allah is an idol that Muhammad lied about.

And this is why the “Preserved Slate” is in Muhammad’s lap and not in Heaven with Allah the idol.

Muhammad was a false prophet, for a false god, Allah, for a false religion, Islam, without even a false book, the Koran.
