What is the “soul” in Islam? Note, that this isn’t about the Spirit of God. Is it like the soul of individual Jews and Christians, that remains after the death of their body and eventually goes either to Heaven or Hell?

Or is the soul something else in Islam? Let’s count:
Count the Ways!

According to The Quranic Arabic Corpus, 90 mentions of “soul” exist and 21 for “souls”. According to Quran.com, 97 mentions of “soul” exist and 97 for “souls”. The search for both “soul” and “souls” includes the plural “souls” with the singular “soul”. Naturally, there are lots of repeats.
Exceptional Cases
I’ve teased out some exceptional cases where the translators have translated the Arabic words for the soul as a person or persons and similar:
- Soul = Person; There are no souls in the Koran.
- Souls = Persons; There are no souls in the Koran.
- No Soul = No One; There are no souls in the Koran.
This article covers the cases where the translators think the Arabic for “soul” means “soul” in English, which it doesn’t.
Spirit of God isn’t Soul

But first, a reminder:
And they ask you, [O Muḥammad], about the soul.
Say, “The soul is of the affair [i.e., concern] of my Lord. And you [i.e., mankind] have not been given of knowledge except a little.”
Koran 17:85
Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 17:85, gives the context for this verse:
While I was walking with the Prophet on a farm, and he was resting on a palm-leaf stalk, some Jews passed by.
Some of them said to the others, “Ask him about the Ruh.”
Some of them said, “What urges you to ask him about that?”
Others said, “Do not ask him, lest he gives you a reply which you do not like.”
But they said, “Ask him.”
So they asked him about the Ruh.
The Prophet kept quiet and did not give them an answer, and I knew that he was receiving revelation, so I stayed where I was.
Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 17:85
The “Ruh” here refers to the Spirit of God, and Muhammad shows his ignorance and the ignorance of Allah, so showing Muhammad is Allah, so Koran and Islam are false.
Body is Soul

And [by] the soul and He who proportioned it
Koran 91:7
It’s GOD who proportions the body.
By Nafs (Adam or a person or a soul), and Him Who perfected him in proportion;
Mohsin Khan, Koran 91:7
Soul is Heartburn?

75:26 No! When it [i.e., the soul] has reached the collar bones 27 And it is said, “Who will cure [him]?” 28 And he [i.e., the dying one] is certain that it is the [time of] separation 29 And the leg is wound about the leg, 30 To your Lord, that Day, will be the procession.
Koran 75:26-30
Then why, when it [i.e., the soul at death] reaches the throat
Koran 56:83
Muhammad is “dying” of heartburn or acid reflux. Heartburn isn’t your soul attempting to leave your body via your throat or collarbones.
Swear by The Soul?

And I swear by the reproaching soul [to the certainty of resurrection].
Koran 75:2
This isn’t Allah, to swear on such a thing as a soul or person. This is Muhammad, the pagan, swearing to pretend to tell the truth, but instead, lies. Muhammad swears by “THE” soul. That’s almost certainly either Allah or Jibril.
And besides who can swear? Only the person.
Are Souls Paired?

Muhammad didn’t know about twins, triplets, quadruplets and more.
And when the souls are paired
Koran 81:7
The Saheeh International translation has the footnote:
(With another like soul. It can also mean “joined” (with their groups or sects).)
Footnote, Koran 81:7
What Muhammad meant here, is when people are joined with their group, those going to Paradise or Fire, their “groups” or “sects”. Mohsin Khan hints at this also with “(the good with the good and the bad with the bad)”, but puts in the Christian and Jewish conception of the soul with: “the souls are joined with their bodies”.
And when the souls are joined with their bodies, (the good with the good and the bad with the bad).
Mohsin Khan, Koran 81:7
Allah Gives and Returns the Soul?

Koran 19:66-68
19:66 And man [i.e., the disbeliever] says, “When I have died, am I going to be brought forth alive?”
67 Does man not remember that We created him before, while he was nothing?
68 So by your Lord, We will surely gather them and the devils; then We will bring them to be present around Hell upon their knees.
Koran 19:66-68
No souls here, from “nothing” to the “man”, while Muhammad and “We” forgot there are some who are women. Also, souls don’t have knees. Only physically resurrected people can be forced to their knees.
Koran 31:28
Your creation and your resurrection will not be but as that of a single soul.
Indeed, Allāh is Hearing and Seeing.
Koran 31:28
The creation of you all and the resurrection of you all are only as a single person.
Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 31:27
Preformationism was a Greek doctrine and it is wrong. For more, read:
Grave Contents are Soul?

82:4 And when the [contents of] graves are scattered [i.e., exposed],
5 A soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back.
Koran 82:4-5
The contents of the grave are the body when resurrected by the Earth (a divine being in the Koran), giving rise to the person. Muhammad stupidly didn’t claim that Allah resurrected the dead here in this chapter.
Soul means Life

Koran 5:32
Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption [done] in the land – it is as if he had slain mankind entirely.
And whoever saves one – it is as if he had saved mankind entirely.
And Our messengers had certainly come to them with clear proofs.
Then indeed many of them, [even] after that, throughout the land, were transgressors.
Koran 5:32
Muhammad’s words: “whoever kills a soul… it is as if he had slain mankind entirely. And whoever saves one – it is as if he had saved mankind entirely” are a paraphrase of what originally comes from Mishnah Sanhedrin 4:5:
…if any man has caused a single life to perish from Israel, he is deemed by Scripture as if he had caused a whole world to perish; and anyone who saves a single soul from Israel, he is deemed by Scripture as if he had saved a whole world.
Mishnah Sanhedrin 4:5
We know that the source of this text comes from Torah to Muhammad and it’s about murder. This means that the “soul” in the Koran verse is meant to indicate “human life” or “life” for short, not the soul in Judaism and Christianity. After all, who can kill a soul? Only the living body can be accidentally killed or deliberately murdered by mere humans, so “releasing” the embodied soul. So where “soul” is used in the Koran, it means the person or life, not the soul from Judaism and Christianity. This is confirmed by the translators using “soul” instead of “man”, “person”, “life” or similar. I’ll go through some examples:
Koran 2:281
This verse confirms that “soul” refers to a person, by addressing “you” as the person.
And fear a Day when you will be returned to Allāh.
Then every soul will be compensated for what it earned, and they will not be wronged [i.e., treated unjustly].
Koran 2:281
The Mohsin Khan translation correctly translates “soul” as “person”.
And be afraid of the Day when you shall be brought back to Allah.
Then every person shall be paid what he earned, and they shall not be dealt with unjustly.
Mohsin Khan, Koran 2:281
Koran 3:29-30
3:29 Say, “Whether you conceal what is in your breasts or reveal it, Allāh knows it. And He knows that which is in the heavens and that which is on the earth. And Allāh is over all things competent.
30 The Day every soul will find what it has done of good present [before it] and what it has done of evil, it will wish that between itself and that [evil] was a great distance.
And Allāh warns you of Himself, and Allāh is Kind to [His] servants.”
Koran 3:29-30
The “Say” and “you” in Koran 3:29 show that Muhammad was talking to people, not to souls. Thus the “soul” in Koran 3:30 means “one” or person.
Koran 6:151
Muhammad speaks to people:
Say, “Come, I will recite what your Lord has prohibited to you. [He commands] that you not associate anything with Him, and to parents, good treatment, and do not kill your children out of poverty; We will provide for you and them. And do not approach immoralities – what is apparent of them and what is concealed. And do not kill the soul which Allāh has forbidden [to be killed] except by [legal] right. This has He instructed you that you may use reason.”
Koran 6:151
Muhammad permits the murder of “the soul”. Only the person can be murdered, not their soul. One has to use reason here, to realise that Muhammad permits murder here, not of souls, but of people, an obvious contradiction to the Decalogue in Judaism and the Ten Commandments in Christianity.
Koran 17:33
The Muslim translators confirm this view with Muhammad’s corrupt repetition here:
And do not kill the soul [i.e., person] which Allāh has forbidden, except by right.
And whoever is killed unjustly – We have given his heir authority, but let him not exceed limits in [the matter of] taking life.
Indeed, he has been supported [by the law].
Koran 17:33
Koran 25:68
Yet another corrupt repetition by Muhamad.
And those who do not invoke with Allāh another deity or kill the soul which Allāh has forbidden [to be killed], except by right, and do not commit unlawful sexual intercourse.
And whoever should do that will meet a penalty.
Koran 25:68
Koran 18:74
And again, here, with the unnecessary addition of “pure”, where “[Moses]” is played badly by Muhammad:
So they set out, until when they met a boy, he [i.e., al-Khiḍr] killed him.
[Moses] said, “Have you killed a pure soul for other than [having killed] a soul? You have certainly done a deplorable thing.”
Koran 18:74
The phrase “pure soul” here means the innocent child, the boy. “[Moses]” (played by Muhammad badly) criticises Al-Khidr for murder, which the real Moses (and GOD) condemns:
13 “You shall not murder.
NIV Exodus 20:13
The Soul Carries (or wears) Stolen Robes?

It is not [attributable] to any prophet that he would act unfaithfully [in regard to war booty].
And whoever betrays, [taking unlawfully], will come with what he took on the Day of Resurrection.
Then will every soul be [fully] compensated for what it earned, and they will not be wronged.
Koran 3:161
Obviously, a soul can’t carry or wear the stolen red robes that he (Muhammad) stole from his own Muslims. So “soul” here means “person” as Mohsin Khan confirms:
It is not for any Prophet to take illegally a part of booty (Ghulul), and whosoever deceives his companions as regards the booty, he shall bring forth on the Day of Resurrection that which he took (illegally).
Then every person shall be paid in full what he has earned, – and they shall not be dealt with unjustly.
Mohsin Khan, Koran 3:161
We have to presume that Allah can reassemble Muhammad’s stolen robes like his body, when Allah can’t assemble human bodies in the first place, after 1400 years of them being dust in Muhammad’s grave.
The Soul is Destroyed?

Koran 6:70
And leave those who take their religion as amusement and diversion and whom the worldly life has deluded.
But remind with it [i.e., the Qur’ān], lest a soul be given up to destruction for what it earned; it will have other than Allāh no protector and no intercessor.
And if it should offer every compensation, it would not be taken from it [i.e., that soul].
Those are the ones who are given to destruction for what they have earned.
For them will be a drink of scalding water and a painful punishment because they used to disbelieve.
Koran 6:70
How can souls be destroyed in the “destruction”? Only a physical body, a person, can be forced to drink scalding water while in the fire. This is similar to the physical pleasures of resurrected righteous Muslims enjoying Paradise, sex with virgins, enjoying the service of boys, drinking milk, honey mead and wine, and enjoying all the dates they can eat while “resting” on couches.
Mohsin Khan’s translation shows that what is translated as “soul” actually means person. The resurrection is of the physical body, and the punishment is of the body.
But remind (them) with it (the Quran) lest a person be given up to destruction for that which he has earned, when he will find for himself no protector or intercessor besides Allah, and even if he offers every ransom, it will not be accepted from him.
Excerpt, Mohsin Khan, Koran 6:70
There’s more torture porn in the hadith about chains being inserted, skins being replaced and other disgusting stuff, which I’m not going to repeat here, all of which show that Fire is for the body, just as Paradise is for the body.
Soul has Protector?

There is no soul but that it has over it a protector.
Koran 86:4
Contradicted by:
it will have other than Allāh no protector and no intercessor.
Excerpt, Koran 6:70
And, of course, you know that it’s parents who try to protect their children and the good who defend the innocent. All people. None of whom are Allah, yet, even the most incompetent protector is better than imaginary Allah or the two “angels” on our shoulders.
Soul means Reincarnation in Paradise?

Koran 2:154
And do not say about those who are killed in the way of Allāh, “They are dead.”
Rather, they are alive, but you perceive [it] not.
Koran 2:154
Except that they are dead, just like Muhammad, his Muslims and the Quraysh people.
Koran 3:169-175
3:169 And never think of those who have been killed in the cause of Allāh as dead.
Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision, 170 Rejoicing in what Allāh has bestowed upon them of His bounty, and they receive good tidings about those [to be martyred] after them who have not yet joined them – that there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.
171 They receive good tidings of favor from Allāh and bounty and [of the fact] that Allāh does not allow the reward of believers to be lost – 172 Those [believers] who responded to Allāh and the Messenger after injury had struck them. For those who did good among them and feared Allāh is a great reward – 173 Those to whom people [i.e., hypocrites] said, “Indeed, the people have gathered against you, so fear them.”
But it [merely] increased them in faith, and they said, “Sufficient for us is Allāh, and [He is] the best Disposer of affairs.”
174 So they returned with favor from Allāh and bounty, no harm having touched them.
And they pursued the pleasure of Allāh, and Allāh is the possessor of great bounty.
175 That is only Satan who frightens [you] of his supporters.
So fear them not, but fear Me, if you are [indeed] believers.
Koran 3:169-175
Except they, Muslim martyrs, are demonstrably dead, they’re not in Islamic Paradise, they’re in their graves:

But, Infidel, their souls are with Allah! No, they’re reincarnated as birds, according to the lies of Muhammad, who forgot that in his theology, Islamic Paradise isn’t created yet.

According to Muhammad, the martyr is receiving provision from Allah. So why are these birds getting dates from Allah, when we know Allah doesn’t provide dates for Muslims in life?

But, Infidel, the martyr birds fly around and feed on dates that Allah has provided! This is a denial of Muhammad’s words in his Koran:
3:169 …receiving provision, 170 Rejoicing in what Allāh has bestowed upon them of His bounty,…
Excerpts, Koran 3:169-170
But, Infidel, that’s what Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 3:169 says! So the scholars are better providers of information than Muhammad, Jibril and Allah? Obviously, this means that Allah, Jibril, Muhammad, and the scholars are incoherent and false, so Koran and Islam are false. Scholars give this excuse because they know that Allah doesn’t provide for birds, Muslims or scholars, but Muslims will provide for scholars in exchange for lies. So it’s obviously a good idea to stop providing for scholars, right?
Worse, belief in reincarnation is “a rejection of the texts of the Quran and the Sunnah and a denial of the Resurrection“. Just think if these scholars found out that Muhammad believed in reincarnation:
What is reincarnation?
Reincarnation in Islam, Islam Question & Answer
What is meant by reincarnation or the transmigration of souls is that when the body dies, the soul moves to another body, where it will be happy or miserable as a result of its previous actions, and thus it moves from one body to another.
As a reminder:
3:169 And never think of those who have been killed in the cause of Allāh as dead.
Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision, 170 Rejoicing in what Allāh has bestowed upon them of His bounty, and they receive good tidings about those [to be martyred] after them who have not yet joined them – that there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.
Koran 3:169-170
But, Infidel, the Koran doesn’t state that souls are reincarnated as green birds! The scholars get their information from hadith:
Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas:
The Prophet said:
When your brethren were smitten at the battle of Uhud, Allah put their spirits in the crops of green birds which go down to the rivers of Paradise, eat its fruit and nestle in lamps of gold in the shade of the Throne. Then when they experienced the sweetness of their food, drink and rest, they asked: “Who will tell our brethren about us that we are alive in Paradise provided with provision, in order that they might not be disinterested in jihad and recoil in war?”
Allah Most High said: “I shall tell them about you”; so Allah sent down: “And do not consider those who have been killed in Allah’s path.” till the end of the verse.
Sunan Abi Dawud 2520
Notice that Muhammad is talking about a specific group of Muslims, “your brethren were smitten at the battle of Uhud”, not generally for all Muslim martyrs, and then Muhammad comes up with the “revelation” of Koran 3:169-170.
It was narrated from Abdullah concerning the Verse: “Think not of those as dead who are killed in the way of Allah. Nay, they are alive, with their Lord, and they have provision” [3:169] that he said: “We asked about that.”
The Prophet said: “Their souls are like green birds that fly wherever they wish in Paradise, then they come back to lamps suspended from the Throne. While they were like that, your Lord looked at them and said, ‘Ask me for whatever you want.’ They said: ‘O Lord, what should we ask You for when we can fly wherever we wish in Paradise?’ When they saw that they would not be left alone until they had asked for something, they said: ‘We ask You to return our souls to our bodies in the world so that we may fight for Your sake (again).’ When He saw that they would not ask for anything but that, they were left alone.”
Sunan Ibn Majah 2801
Obviously, the words of Allah to the martyrs of Uhud should be in the Koran, right? The fact they’re not, means that the martyrs missed out on the message of Muhammad Allah, so obviously, they weren’t Muslims, right?
Ibn ‘Abbas reported God’s Messenger as saying to his companions:
When your brethren were smitten at the battle of Uhud God put their spirits in the crops of green birds which go down to the rivers of paradise, eat its fruits and nestle in lamps of gold in the shade of the Throne. Then when they experienced the sweetness of their food, drink and rest they asked who would tell their brethren about them that they were alive in paradise in order that they might not cease to desire paradise or recoil in war. God most high said He would tell them about them, so He sent down, “And do not consider those who have been killed in God’s path to be dead; nay, they are alive in the presence of their Lord and are being supplied with provision.” 3:169
Mishkat al-Masabih 3853
If you search for “green bird” on Sunnah.com, you can find more hadith, most similar, all showing that the Koran is ad hoc and post hoc, created on the fly by Muhammad, after the fact, revealing that Allah is not omniscient, not wise, and not separate from Muhammad. Muhammad could not consistently remember what he told his Muslims and changed his story, showing he was a liar. The purpose of Muhammad’s stories, his lies, was to increase the morale of his soldiers in battle, so they would be “good” Muslims and die in battle for him, instead of surrendering or running away. You know better now. You know Muhammad was a liar, so you know Muhammad is Allah, so Islam is false.
Angel of Death takes Soul?

Koran 32:11
Say, “The angel of death who has been entrusted with you will take you. Then to your Lord you will be returned.”
Koran 32:11
But, Infidel, there’s no “soul” there! Exactly. The translators realised that “soul” meant the person and didn’t realise that they corrupted the meaning of the Arabic by having bodies being flown off to Allah when bodies of Muslims plainly lie in their graves:

But, Infidel, doesn’t the original Arabic destroy your argument and show Muslims have souls? Nope. The same Arabic phrase is in here:
And Allāh created you; then He will take you in death.
And among you is he who is reversed to the most decrepit [old] age so that he will not know, after [having had] knowledge, a thing.
Indeed, Allāh is Knowing and Competent.
Koran 16:70
So who takes people in death? Allah or the Angel of Death? Muhammad’s incoherence condemns him as a liar.
Again, Muslims and non-Muslims lie in their graves or are ashes after the cremation. They aren’t moved.

None of them gets up and flies away to Islamic Heaven or Paradise while being held by an invisible Angel of Death.
Muhammad was telling lies on the spot, inventing a scary story, to frighten people into obeying him. Later, Muhammad invaded and forced everyone to be Muslim. No angel took them nor did Allah. Muhammad’s action disproved his lie. Muhammad the false prophet, the liar for the idol Allah.
Created from Soul?

Koran 4:1
O mankind, fear your Lord, who created you from one soul and created from it its mate and dispersed from both of them many men and women.
And fear Allāh, through whom you ask one another, and the wombs. Indeed Allāh is ever, over you, an Observer.
Koran 4:1
Obviously, “one soul” here refers to Adam, who was a person. The phrase “created from it its mate” refers to Eve. Muhammad repeats himself a lot in his Koran:
Koran 6:98
Muhammad repeats himself again, talking either about the woman’s womb or the houses of the Quraysh, which their ancestors built, not Allah:
And it is He who produced you from one soul and [gave you] a place of dwelling and of storage.
We have detailed the signs for a people who understand.
Koran 6:98
It is He Who has created you from a single person (Adam),
Excerpt, Mohsin Khan, Koran 6:98
Koran 7:189-190
Another corrupt repetition by Muhammad, this time advocating monogamy.
7:189 It is He who created you from one soul and created from it its mate that he might dwell in security with her.
And when he [i.e., man] covers her, she carries a light burden [i.e., a pregnancy] and continues therein.
And when it becomes heavy, they both invoke Allāh, their Lord, “If You should give us a good [child], we will surely be among the grateful.”
190 But when He gives them a good [child], they ascribe partners to Him concerning that which He has given them.
Exalted is Allāh above what they associate with Him.
Koran 7:189-190
Note that there’s no invocation for Allah to provide a soul, just a “good [child]”. Also, note that the husband and wife are monogamous polytheists of Muhammad’s tribe who are invoking the daughters of Allah about the birth of their child. The Jews and Christians never ascribe partners to GOD.
Koran 39:6
Another needless and corrupt repetition by Muhammad, while adding in herd animals of Muhammad’s time.
He created you from one soul.
Then He made from it its mate, and He produced for you from the grazing livestock eight mates.
He creates you in the wombs of your mothers, creation after creation, within three darknesses.
That is Allāh, your Lord; to Him belongs dominion.
There is no deity except Him, so how are you averted?
Koran 39:6
Soul permits Murder?

Koran 5:30
And his soul permitted to him the murder of his brother, so he killed him and became among the losers.
Koran 5:30
What is this about, his soul permitting murder? GOD makes clear the tortured phrasing of Muhammad in Genesis 4:6-7:
6 Then the Lord said to Cain, “Why are you angry? Why is your face downcast? 7 If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it.”
NIV Genesis 4:6-7
But, Infidel, that’s God,…? God making clear the words of Muhammad. Or is Muhammad getting the clear words of God wrong? Either way, this obviously shows Muhammad was a false prophet, for a false god, Allah, for a false religion, Islam, without even a false book, the Koran.
But, what if Muhammad didn’t get it wrong, and this is a self-insert, and he really believes his “soul” permits him to murder? That means that there are two people (at least), inside Muhammad. And who could this “soul”, this other person inside Muhammad, who “permits” murder? Who else, but a demon, the “soul” of Muhammad?

For more about this, read Muhammad the Three.
Soul Encourages Evil?

But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination,
Koran 79:40
Muhammad talks about himself stopping himself from murdering people, like a crazed madman. See what Mohsin Khan shows the verse as:
But as for him who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained himself from impure evil desires and lusts.
Mohsin Khan, Koran 79:40
Notice that it’s “he” who “prevented” (or “restrained”). Nothing about Allah and his Law or Sharia. Nothing about Islamic Fate. Muhammad chooses a better option and praises himself for not doing immediate evil. You doubt?
Then indeed, Paradise will be [his] refuge.
Koran 79:41
So who is urging Muhammad to “[unlawful] inclination”? Obviously his dark passenger, his demon, Jibril.
Wife’s Soul?

Koran 12:50-53
12:50 And the king said, “Bring him to me.”
But when the messenger came to him, [Joseph] said, “Return to your master and ask him what is the case of the women who cut their hands. Indeed, my Lord is Knowing of their plan.”
51 Said [the king to the women], “What was your condition when you sought to seduce Joseph?
They said, “Perfect is Allāh! We know about him no evil.”
The wife of al-ʿAzeez said, “Now the truth has become evident. It was I who sought to seduce him, and indeed, he is of the truthful. 52 That is so he [i.e., al-ʿAzeez] will know that I did not betray him in [his] absence and that Allāh does not guide the plan of betrayers. 53 And I do not acquit myself. Indeed, the soul is a persistent enjoiner of evil, except those upon which my Lord has mercy. Indeed, my Lord is Forgiving and Merciful.”
Koran 12:50-53
The ancient Egyptians were polytheists, worshippers of idols, not worshippers of Allah, the idol of Muhammad, and not followers of Muhammad the false prophet of Islam.
Obviously, these are the words of Muhammad pretending AKA lying:

Indeed, the soul is a persistent enjoiner of evil…
Muhammad the Mad, pretending to be the wife of al-ʿAzeez
Enjoin: to direct or impose by authoritative order or with urgent admonition
Enjoin, Merriam-Webster
Muhammad’s dark passenger admits:
And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein.
Koran 50:16
Muhammad admits “soul” (himself) causes him to do evil. This is Jibril. This demon:

Is this another self-insert by Jibril AKA Muhammad as the “Samiri”?
He said, “I saw what they did not see, so I took a handful [of dust] from the track of the messenger and threw it, and thus did my soul entice me.”
Koran 20:96
The dark passenger of Muhammad commanded him to do mischief, to do evil.
And when they entered from where their father had ordered them, it did not avail them against Allāh at all except [it was] a need [i.e., concern] within the soul of Jacob, which he satisfied.
And indeed, he was a possessor of knowledge because of what We had taught him, but most of the people do not know.
Koran 12:68
Jibril boasts about teaching Jacob, a blatant lie, as the choice of gates made no difference. Muhammad inserted himself and his demon into the story.
Koran 50:21
And every soul will come, with it a driver and a witness.
Koran 50:21
And every person will come forth along with an (angel) to drive (him) and an (angel) to bear witness.
Mohsin Khan, Koran 50:21
For more, read Muhammad the Three.
Souls of Jews?

So how will it be when We assemble them for a Day about which there is no doubt?
And each soul will be compensated [in full for] what it earned, and they will not be wronged.
Koran 3:25
This is from a passage, Koran 3:23-25, where the Jews of Muhammad’s time have told him about the Jewish concept of Hell and are referring to their souls. Muhammad mistakenly thinks they’re talking about their bodies, their person, and reasserts his own nonsense yet again, where “soul” means person.
Soul tastes Death?

Koran 3:185
Every soul will taste death, and you will only be given your [full] compensation on the Day of Resurrection.
So he who is drawn away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise has attained [his desire].
And what is the life of this world except the enjoyment of delusion.
Koran 3:185
Releasing the soul requires the death of the person. It’s the person who tastes death, to release the “soul”. The “soul” here, means person. And the person after the “Day of Resurrection” receives their “compensation”. Not their “soul”. Notice again the sexism of Muhammad with “he”.
Koran 21:35
Another corrupt repetition by Muhammad:
Every soul will taste death.
And We test you with evil and with good as trial; and to Us you will be returned.
Koran 21:35
Koran 29:57
Yet another corrupt repetition by Muhammad:
Every soul will taste death.
Then to Us will you be returned.
Koran 29:57
Soul means Consciousness

And it is He who takes your souls by night and knows what you have committed by day.
Then He revives you therein [i.e., by day] that a specified term may be fulfilled.
Then to Him will be your return; then He will inform you about what you used to do.
Koran 6:60
Does Allah wake you up? Or does dawn, bird calls, the call of nature, your alarm, children, partner, mother, father, grandparent or some other noise wake you up?

Muhammad’s inability to explain consciousness and unconsciousness, and then forgetting that children sleep during the day, shows that Muhammad is pretending to be Allah, ignorant, stupid and foolish.
The Consciousness of Allah and Jesus

And [beware the Day] when Allāh will say, “O Jesus, Son of Mary, did you say to the people, ‘Take me and my mother as deities besides Allāh?'”
He will say, “Exalted are You! It was not for me to say that to which I have no right. If I had said it, You would have known it. You know what is within myself, and I do not know what is within Yourself. Indeed, it is You who is Knower of the unseen.
Koran 5:116
In some translations, the translators use “soul” here. As shown the Sahih International translators describe it correctly, Allah knowing and Jesus not. Of course, Muhammad has Allah not knowing, which rather spoils the effect. The “soul” in the other translations should be as the Sahih International.
Koran gives Soul?

Koran 6:104
There has come to you enlightenment from your Lord.
So whoever will see does so for [the benefit of] his soul, and whoever is blind [does harm] against it.
And [say], “I am not a guardian over you.”
Koran 6:104
Note the sexism of Muhammad. Surely Islam applies to Muslim women and girls, right? Thus “soul” here means “person”, the person hearing and reading the sexism of Muhammad.
Muhammad evades the responsibility of being a prophet with “I am not a guardian over you.” Meanwhile, Allah, the idol, does nothing, as usual.
Koran 10:99-100
10:99 And had your Lord willed, those on earth would have believed – all of them entirely.
Then, [O Muḥammad], would you compel the people in order that they become believers?
100 And it is not for a soul [i.e., anyone] to believe except by permission of Allāh, and He will place defilement1 upon those who will not use reason.
Koran 10:99-100
In a recent change, the translators have made clear that “soul” means “person” with “[i.e., anyone]”. Also, this verse came before Muhammad later invaded “Mecca” or Petra in Jordan and forced everyone to be Muslims. Muhammad’s violence shows that his will exceeds Allah’s non-existent will and overrules Allah’s non-existent permission, showing Muhammad is Allah. Thus Muhammad, Allah, Koran and Islam are false.
Koran 10:108
Say, “O mankind, the truth has come to you from your Lord, so whoever is guided is only guided for [the benefit of] his soul, and whoever goes astray only goes astray [in violation] against it. And I am not over you a manager.”
Koran 10:108
Mohsin Khan correctly translates “soul” as “his own self” and continues Muhammad’s sexism:
Say: “O you mankind! Now truth (i.e. the Quran and Prophet Muhammad SAW), has come to you from your Lord. So whosoever receives guidance, he does so for the good of his own self, and whosoever goes astray, he does so to his own loss, and I am not (set) over you as a Wakil (disposer of affairs to oblige you for guidance).”
Mohsin Khan, Koran 10:108
Koran 32:12-14
Muhammad couldn’t see the unseen, but did invent many incoherent lies:
32:12 If you could but see when the criminals are hanging their heads before their Lord, [saying], “Our Lord, we have seen and heard, so return us [to the world]; we will work righteousness. Indeed, we are [now] certain.”
13 And if We had willed, We could have given every soul its guidance, but the word from Me will come into effect [that] “I will surely fill Hell with jinn and people all together. 14 So taste [punishment] because you forgot the meeting of this, your Day; indeed, We have [accordingly] forgotten you. And taste the punishment of eternity for what you used to do.”
Koran 32:12-14
Quite plainly, “soul” here means everyone. Meanwhile, the Jinn are imaginary. Read Islam – not false? to see what would happen to Jews, Christians, atheists and sentient whales, if Islam was more than nonsense and lies. Also, note the confused speech quotes in verses 13-14.
Koran 39:41
Indeed, We sent down to you the Book for the people in truth.
So whoever is guided – it is for [the benefit of] his soul; and whoever goes astray only goes astray to its detriment.
And you are not a manager [i.e., authority] over them.
Koran 39:41
Here, “his soul” means “himself”. Also, note Muhammad’s sexism.
Last Day Soul?

Koran 6:158
Do they [then] wait for anything except that the angels should come to them or your Lord should come or that there come some of the signs of your Lord?
The Day that some of the signs of your Lord will come no soul will benefit from its faith as long as it had not believed before or had earned through its faith some good.
Say, “Wait. Indeed, we [also] are waiting.”
Koran 6:158
It’s important to note that Muhammad’s audience only heard: “Wait. Indeed, we are waiting.” How does one quote in an oral recitation? Obviously, if “we” are waiting, then everyone is people waiting, not souls waiting, after all, no one, not even a mad, illiterate, false prophet can command a soul to wait. Mohsin Khan correctly translates “soul” as “person” here:
Do they then wait for anything other than that the angels should come to them, or that your Lord should come, or that some of the Signs of your Lord should come (i.e. portents of the Hour e.g., arising of the sun from the west)!
The day that some of the Signs of your Lord do come, no good will it do to a person to believe then, if he believed not before, nor earned good (by performing deeds of righteousness) through his Faith.
Say: “Wait you! we (too) are waiting.”
Mohsin Khan, Koran 6:158
Koran 6:164
Say, “Is it other than Allāh I should desire as a lord while He is the Lord of all things? And every soul earns not [blame] except against itself, and no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord is your return, and He will inform you concerning that over which you used to differ.”
Koran 6:164
The “soul” refers to people who accrue sins and good deeds according to the will of Allah in Islamic Fate. Mohsin Khan correctly translates “soul” as “person” here:
Say: “Shall I seek a lord other than Allah, while He is the Lord of all things? No person earns any (sin) except against himself (only), and no bearer of burdens shall bear the burden of another. Then unto your Lord is your return, so He will tell you that wherein you have been differing.”
Mohsin Khan, Koran 6:164
Koran 11:105
The Day it comes no soul will speak except by His permission.
And among them will be the wretched and the prosperous.
Koran 11:105
I speak and write. What permission do I need to speak and write? If I need permission to speak, then why aren’t all opponents of Allah, Muhammad, Muhammad’s Koran and Islam denied permission to speak? There is no permission and so no Allah. This is Muhammad speaking. It’s Muhammad the Mad’s permission that Muhammad’s men need to speak because their chatter around him destroys Muhammad’s concentration and his invention of his Koran in front of them. See for yourself in Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 11:103. The word “soul” here means Muslims in front of Muhammad, the ones interrupting him while he tries to create the Koran for them.
Koran 89:27-30
27 [To the righteous it will be said], “O reassured soul, 28 Return to your Lord, well-pleased and pleasing [to Him], 29 And enter among My [righteous] servants 30 And enter My Paradise.”
Koran 89:27-30
O (you) the one in (complete) rest and satisfaction!
Mohsin Khan, Koran 89:27-30
Allah does Nothing

But never will Allāh delay a soul when its time has come.
And Allāh is Aware of what you do.
Koran 63:11
People choose to die by suicide. People choose others to die by murder. People abort babies. The State decides to execute people. Allah does nothing. Nothing about an appointed time.
Allah Hides Their Reward

And no soul knows what has been hidden for them of comfort for eyes [i.e., satisfaction] as reward for what they used to do.
Koran 32:17
Muhammad and his Muslims have been dead for 1400 years. No resurrection. No reward.
Muhammad Rants to the Quraysh

Koran 13:33
Then is He who is a maintainer of every soul, [knowing] what it has earned, [like any other]?
But to Allāh they have attributed partners.
Say, “Name them. Or do you inform Him of that which He knows not upon the earth or of what is apparent [i.e., alleged] of speech?”
Rather, their [own] plan has been made attractive to those who disbelieve, and they have been averted from the way.
And whomever Allāh sends astray – there will be for him no guide.
Koran 13:33
Muhammad forgets that he used to worship the three daughters of Allah together with his wife, Khadija:

Muhammad also names them, in his Koran:
53:19 So have you considered al-Lāt and al-ʿUzzā?
20 And Manāt, the third – the other one?
Koran 53:19-20
Obviously, Muhammad being so forgetful shows that Allah is imaginary and not the “maintainer of every soul”.
Koran 13:42
And those before them had plotted, but to Allāh belongs the plan entirely.
He knows what every soul earns, and the disbelievers will know for whom is the final home.
Koran 13:42
Muhammad continues to rant not knowing he will take over Mecca from his polytheist tribe and force everyone to only worship Allah and himself. What the “soul earns” here is about what the person earns. As a change, I checked the tafsir, which agrees:
He knows what every person earns
Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 13:42
Koran 14:51
So that Allāh will recompense every soul for what it earned.
Indeed, Allāh is swift in account.
Koran 14:51
1400 years later, Allah is slow in accounting for all these dead “souls” or persons. Muhammad’s lying about Allah’s swiftness shows that Allah is false. No recompense.
Koran 16:111
On the Day when every soul will come disputing [i.e., pleading] for itself, and every soul will be fully compensated for what it did, and they will not be wronged [i.e., treated unjustly].
Koran 16:111
111 (Remember) the Day when every person will come pleading for himself, and every one will be paid in full for what he did, and they will not be dealt with unjustly.
Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 16:110
Notice how Muhammad describes Allah as if he was paying for labourers in a field. What real god needs human labourers? Only a merchant arranging day labourers for hire will do this.
Koran 17:15
Whoever is guided is only guided for [the benefit of] his soul.
And whoever errs only errs against it.
And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another.
And never would We punish until We sent a messenger.
Koran 17:15
Whoever goes right, then he goes right only for the benefit of himself.
Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 17:15
Koran 20:15
Muhammad pretends to be God talking to Moses:
Indeed, the Hour is coming – I almost conceal it – so that every soul may be recompensed according to that for which it strives.
Koran 20:15
Verily, the Hour is coming — and I am almost hiding it — that every person may be rewarded for that which he strives.
Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 20:11
Notice the sexism in the tafsir. Also, GOD made no promises about the “Hour” to the real Moses.
Koran 23:62
And We charge no soul except [with that within] its capacity, and with Us is a record which speaks with truth; and they will not be wronged.
Koran 23:62
And We task not any person except according to his capacity,
Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 23:62
Koran 31:34
Indeed, Allāh [alone] has knowledge of the Hour and sends down the rain and knows what is in the wombs.
And no soul perceives what it will earn tomorrow, and no soul perceives in what land it will die.
Indeed, Allāh is Knowing and Aware.
Koran 31:34
No person knows what he will earn tomorrow, and no person knows in what land he will die.
Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 31:34
Koran 35:18
And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another.
And if a heavily laden soul calls [another] to [carry some of] its load, nothing of it will be carried, even if he should be a close relative.
You can only warn those who fear their Lord unseen and have established prayer.
And whoever purifies himself only purifies himself for [the benefit of] his soul.
And to Allāh is the [final] destination.
Koran 35:18
Again “soul” here means person.
Koran 36:54
So today [i.e., the Day of Judgement] no soul will be wronged at all, and you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do.
Koran 36:54
This Day (Day of Resurrection), none will be wronged in anything, nor will you be requited anything except that which you used to do.
Mohsin Khan, Koran 36:54
Koran 39:70
And every soul will be fully compensated [for] what it did; and He is most knowing of what they do.
Koran 39:70
And each person will be paid in full of what he did; and He is Best Aware of what they do.
Mohsin Khan, Koran 39:70
Koran 74:38
Every soul, for what it has earned, will be retained.
Koran 74:38
Every person is a pledge for what he has earned,
Mohsin Khan, Koran 74:38
Does Soul mean Him?

4:110 And whoever does a wrong or wrongs himself but then seeks forgiveness of Allāh will find Allāh Forgiving and Merciful.
111 And whoever earns [i.e., commits] a sin only earns it against himself. And Allāh is ever Knowing and Wise.
Koran 4:110-111
Muhammad’s sexism is displayed, which also shows that the “soul” is a person.
Do Women Have Souls?

No person is charged with more than his capacity.
Excerpt, Koran 2:233
The word “person” in Arabic is “nafsun” or “soul”. Notice the sexism of Muhammad with “his”. Could Muhammad have done better? Yes, at the end of the chapter, he repeats himself, with:
Allāh does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity.
It will have [the consequence of] what [good] it has gained, and it will bear [the consequence of] what [evil] it has earned.
Excerpt, Koran 2:286
As before, Mohsin Khan shows that “soul” means person, but spoils it, by referring to “he”, continuing the sexism of Muhammad.
Allah burdens not a person beyond his scope.
Mohsin Khan, Excerpt, Koran 2:286
Koran 6:152
We do not charge any soul except [with that within] its capacity.
Excerpt, Koran 6:152
We burden not any person, but that which he can bear.
Mohsin Khan, Excerpt, Koran 2:286
Koran 7:42
But those who believed and did righteous deeds – We charge no soul except [within] its capacity.
Those are the companions of Paradise; they will abide therein eternally.
Koran 7:42
But those who believed (in the Oneness of Allah – Islamic Monotheism), and worked righteousness – We tax not any person beyond his scope, such are the dwellers of Paradise.
They will abide therein.
Mohsin Khan, Koran 7:42
Koran 10:30
There, [on that Day], every soul will be put to trial for what it did previously, and they will be returned to Allāh, their master, the Truth, and lost from them is whatever they used to invent.
Koran 10:30
There! Every person will know (exactly) what (all) he had earned before, and they will be brought back to Allah, their rightful Lord (Maula), and their invented false deities will vanish from them.
Mohsin Khan, Koran 10:30
Koran 10:54
And if each soul that wronged had everything on earth, it would offer it in ransom.
And they will confide regret when they see the punishment; and they will be judged in justice, and they will not be wronged.
Koran 10:54
And if every person who had wronged (by disbelieving in Allah and by worshipping others besides Allah), possessed all that is on earth, and sought to ransom himself therewith (it will not be accepted), and they would feel in their hearts regret when they see the torment, and they will be judged with justice, and no wrong will be done unto them.
Mohsin Khan, Koran 10:54
Koran 81:14
A soul will [then] know what it has brought [with it].
Koran 81:14
Here, “soul” means “person”, as the Mohsin Khan translation makes clear:
(Then) every person will know what he has brought (of good and evil).
Mohsin Khan, Koran 81:14
Koran 82:19
It is the Day when a soul will not possess for another soul [power to do] a thing; and the command, that Day, is [entirely] with Allāh.
Koran 82:19
Here, “soul” means person.
Obviously, women are people, but in Islam, people do not have souls, according to Muhammad.
The Muslim woman does count as a person:

Conclusion
In Islam, people do not have souls, according to Muhammad in his Koran.
If you feel you have a soul, then be a Christian. You could also convert to Judaism, but that’s very hard.
Muhammad and his Koran not agreeing with Judaism and Christianity on the matter of the human soul show that Islam, Allah, Muhammad and Koran are false.
