In Muhammad’s Koran, the birds sing and so do the Mountains, along with David. This is,… unusual.

And We gave understanding of it [i.e., the case] to Solomon, and to each [of them] We gave judgement and knowledge.
And We subjected the mountains to exalt [Us], along with David and [also] the birds.
And We were doing [that].
Koran 21:79
Naturally, the Mountains do not sing the Psalms of David in any language. But the wind does whistle around them and this makes a noise. To a madman, like Muhammad, this could seem like singing.
Do you not see that Allāh is exalted by whomever is within the heavens and the earth and [by] the birds with wings spread [in flight]?
Each [of them] has known his [means of] prayer and exalting [Him], and Allāh is Knowing of what they do.
Koran 24:41
And We certainly gave David from Us bounty.
[We said], “O mountains, repeat [Our] praises with him, and the birds [as well].”
Excerpt, Koran 34:10
38:18 Indeed, We subjected the mountains [to praise] with him, exalting [Allāh] in the [late] afternoon and [after] sunrise.
19 And the birds were assembled, all with him repeating [praises].
Koran 38:18-19
According to Jibril (“We”), David, birds and mountains exalt and praise Allah with their singing. Obviously this is crazy talk, showing Muhammad was a madman.
Written Ordinances – Law?

What are the “written ordinances” that Muhammad talks about in his Koran?
Then if they deny you, [O Muḥammad] – so were messengers denied before you, who brought clear proofs and written ordinances and the enlightening Scripture.
Saheeh International, Koran 3:184
[We sent them] with clear proofs and written ordinances. And We revealed to you the message that you may make clear to the people what was sent down to them and that they might give thought.
Saheeh International, Koran 16:44
And if they deny you – then already have those before them denied. Their messengers came to them with clear proofs and written ordinances and with the enlightening Scripture.
Saheeh International, Koran 35:25
Note that I intentionally didn’t provide links to the online Saheeh International translation that I normally link to.
Let’s combine these verses and show what Muhammad thought others had:
- clear proofs and written ordinances and the enlightening Scripture;
- clear proofs and written ordinances;
- clear proofs and written ordinances and with the enlightening Scripture.
It looks like Muhammad forgot to add “and the enlightening Scripture” for the second verse, Koran 16:44. Or maybe it disappeared in subsequent copying by scribes? Obviously, this is corruption of the Koran, three copies and one is a faulty copy.
There’s also the addition of “with” in the last verse. This is another corruption of the Koran.
Also, three copies? Trinity.
So, what are the “clear proofs”, “written ordinances” and “enlightening Scripture”? I checked with other Muslim translations:
Pickthall
- miracles and with the Psalms and with the Scripture giving light;
- clear proofs and writings;
- with clear proofs (of Allah’s Sovereignty), and with the Psalms and the Scripture giving light.
Yusuf Ali
- Clear Signs, Books of dark prophecies, and the Book of Enlightenment;
- Clear Signs and Books of dark prophecies;
- Clear Signs, Books of dark prophecies, and the Book of Enlightenment.
Shakir
- clear arguments and scriptures and the illuminating book;
- clear arguments and scriptures;
- clear arguments, and with scriptures, and with the illuminating book.
Muhammad Sarwar
- authoritative evidence, smaller Books, and the Book of enlightenment;
- [Nothing!];
- miracles, scriptures, and the enlightening Book;
Mohsin Khan
- Al-Baiyinat (clear signs, proofs, evidences) and the Scripture and the Book of Enlightenment;
- clear signs and Books;
- clear signs, and with the Scriptures, and the book giving light.
Arberry
- clear signs, and the Psalms, and the Book Illuminating;
- clear signs, and the Psalms;
- clear signs, the Psalms, the Illuminating Book.
These are the clusters of translations:
| Translation | First | Second | Third |
|---|---|---|---|
| Saheeh | clear proofs | written ordinances | enlightening Scripture |
| Pickthall | miracles & clear proofs | Psalms | Scripture giving light |
| Yusuf Ali | Clear Signs | Books of dark prophecies | Book of Enlightenment |
| Shakir | clear arguments | scriptures | illuminating book |
| Muhammad Sarwar | authoritative evidence & miracles | smaller Books & scriptures | Book of enlightenment & enlightening Book |
| Mohsin Khan | Al-Baiyinat (clear signs, proofs, evidences) & clear signs | Scripture/s | Book of Enlightenment & book giving light |
| Arberry | clear signs | Psalms | Book Illuminating (or reverse) |
| Word by Word | bil-bayināti | wal-zuburi & wabil-zuburi | wal-kitābi, l-munīri |
As you can see, the translations are all over the place, despite the Arabic being relatively consistent. Let’s try non-Muslim translations:
It Is A Noble Messenger’s Speech – Phil Horaia

So if they have called you a liar then messengers were called liars before you who came with the proofs and the Zubur and the bright book.
Koran 3:184
With the proofs and the Zubur. And we sent down to you the Dhikr to make clear for people what has been sent down to them and perhaps they will ponder.
Koran 16:44
And if they call you a liar, those before them accused of lying. Their messengers came to them with the proofs and with the zubur and with the bright Book.
Koran 35:25
Combined:
- the proofs and the Zubur and the bright book;
- the proofs and the Zubur;
- the proofs and with the zubur and with the bright Book.
As you can see, clear, clean and consistent.
The Critical Qur’an – Robert Spencer

Excerpts:
- miracles, Psalms and the enlightening book;
- clear proofs and writings;
- clear proofs, Psalms and enlightening Book.
As you can see, Robert is trying to make sense of the text, despite the constant Arabic words.
Psalms – David’s Book

I have an article here: Koran – Psalms about “Zabur”. Phil’s post on Zabur/Zubur.
Here’s some definitions:
- Psalms: “a collection of sacred poems forming a book of canonical Jewish and Christian Scripture”
- Psalm: “a sacred song or poem used in worship”
So, my impression of what Muhammad was trying to say about what the prophets had:
The miracles and the songs and the enlightening book.
Me.
Why “miracles”?

Most prophets demonstrated miracles in the Bible, the “enlightening Book” – these are the “clear proofs” they’re inspired and supported by GOD. Muhammad didn’t have “clear proofs”, he wasn’t supported by Allah, as Allah is an idol, like his wife, three daughters, pet lion and the 360 idols outside the Kaaba, forming the solar calendar of the Quraysh.
Why “songs”?

Muhammad refers to their speech and poetry, described in the “enlightening book”.
Why “enlightening book”?

Mohammad refers to the “enlightening Book” – this is the book that Waraqa (as the “Allah”) was reading (most likely from memory) and translating and Muhammad (as the “Pen”) was copying into Arabic on papyrus. This was called the “Injil” or Testament. Its name comes from the Greek. No one knows for sure what exactly this testament or bible was. It could merely be:
- Waraqa’s memory;
- The Bible in Greek;
- Codex Sinaiticus – the Sinai Bible was around in 425;
- The Diatessaron in Syriac;
- The Peshitta in Syriac.
The first option doesn’t require a library for Waraqa – this is the “cheapest” solution. The remaining options require Waraqa to have a small library, which indicates either that he was wealthy or had stolen the library he worked at.
For more about the other options, read this article: “Why the Qur’an Doesn’t Seem to Know There Are Four Gospels“.
Waraqa, being a gnostic, would also have had various gnostic books, which Muhammad later copied badly into his Koran.
This implies Zabur (as Psalms) is wrong. So what did David have according to Muhammad? A song. Not the Psalms as a scripture. Assigning “Psalms” as the meaning of “Zabur” is wrong. It’s merely a “song”. Then “Zubur”, the plural of “Zabur”, becomes “songs”. Thus:
[The prophets had] miracles and songs and the enlightening book.
Me.
This fits with Muhammad’s theology, one Allah, one Book and one prophet (at a time) supported with miracles from Allah and songs from Jibril.
But, Infidel, Allah has the Qur’an! No, Allah, in Muhammad’s mythology, has the “enlightening book” and this book is the Bible. This book becomes the scriptures of the Jews and the Christians. The Muslims have no book – they just have the reminder, the words of the reminder, Muhammad the Mad.
Of course, Allah is just an idol. He has no book. Jibril is a demon deceiving Muhammad. Islam is false.
But, Infidel, the Zabur is the Psalms! Let’s check, who are the people of the Psalms? I can think of only a few: David, his wife Bathsheba and their son, Solomon. So, are they the people of the Psalms? They seem like people of the Torah, the Hebrews, Israelites or Jews, instead.
According to Corpus Qur’an, there are four concepts of “Holy Books” in the Koran:
- Injeel (الإنجيل) AKA Bible.
- Quran (القرآن) AKA Koran.
- Torah (التوراة) AKA Torah.
- Zabur (زبور) AKA Psalms.
The concepts for “Zabur” map to three verses (Sahih International not Saheeh) in the Koran:
Indeed, We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], as We revealed to Noah and the prophets after him.
And we revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, the Descendants, Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon, and to David We gave the book [of Psalms].
Koran 4:163
And your Lord is most knowing of whoever is in the heavens and the earth. And We have made some of the prophets exceed others [in various ways], and to David We gave the book [of Psalms].
Koran 17:55
And We have already written in the book [of Psalms] after the [previous] mention that the land [of Paradise] is inherited by My righteous servants.
Koran 21:105
The concepts and verses for Zabur do not mention or connect to the “People of Zabur/Psalms”, except to David, who is known as a Hebrew, Israelite or Jew and not of the “People of Zabur/Psalms”. Thus, no “People of the Zabur/Psalms”, no Psalms.
Muhammad was a false prophet, for a false god, Allah, for a false religion, Islam, without even a false book, the Koran.
