Koran – River/s

How many are the river/s in the Koran and what are they?

Rivers of Noah

Gardens and rivers and totally no flood. You trust Muhammad, uh, Noah, right?

And give you increase in wealth and children and provide for you gardens and provide for you rivers.

Koran 71:12

Note the “gardens” and “rivers”.

River of Moses

Then your hearts became hardened after that, being like stones or even harder.

For indeed, there are stones from which rivers burst forth, and there are some of them that split open and water comes out, and there are some of them that fall down for fear of Allāh.

And Allāh is not unaware of what you do.

Koran 2:74

This verse seems to be referring to:

Then Moses raised his arm and struck the rock twice with his staff. Water gushed out, and the community and their livestock drank.

NIV Numbers 20:11

River of Saul

And when Saul went forth with the soldiers, he said, “Indeed, Allāh will be testing you with a river. So whoever drinks from it is not of me, and whoever does not taste it is indeed of me, excepting one who takes [from it] in the hollow of his hand.”

But they drank from it, except a [very] few of them.

Then when he had crossed it along with those who believed with him, they said, “There is no power for us today against Goliath and his soldiers.”

But those who were certain that they would meet Allāh said, “How many a small company has overcome a large company by permission of Allāh. And Allāh is with the patient.”

Koran 2:249

The Nile, River of Egypt

Nile River, Cairo, Egypt

[Saying], ‘Cast him into the chest and cast it into the river, and the river will throw it onto the bank; there will take him an enemy to Me and an enemy to him.’

And I bestowed upon you love from Me that you would be brought up under My eye [i.e., observation and care].

Koran 20:39

And We inspired to the mother of Moses, “Suckle him; but when you fear for him, cast him into the river and do not fear and do not grieve. Indeed, We will return him to you and will make him [one] of the messengers.”

Koran 28:7

Muhammad Forgets the Nile

Forget-me-not flowers…

And the family of Pharaoh picked him up [out of the river] so that he would become to them an enemy and a [cause of] grief.

Indeed, Pharaoh and Hāmān and their soldiers were deliberate sinners.

Koran 28:8

But the translators didn’t, with: “[out of the river]”.

Rivers of Petra

Map of Petra, Wikipedia.

Or [until] you have a garden of palm trees and grapes and make rivers gush forth within them in force [and abundance]

Koran 17:91

And Pharaoh called out among his people; he said, “O my people, does not the kingdom of Egypt belong to me, and these rivers flowing beneath me; then do you not see?

Koran 43:51

Surely Pharaoh is smart enough to know that the Nile is one river not two as in Petra?

Do you not see that Pharaoh is Muhammad’s enemy in Petra? The man who had Muhammad stoned?

Earth’s Rivers

Night Observation of the Nile in Egypt by ISS-44, NASA.

And He has cast into the earth firmly set mountains, lest it shift with you, and [made] rivers and roads, that you may be guided,

Koran 16:15

Muhammad forgets that Earth has lakes with lakeshores, seas with seashores and icebergs with edges.

Great Lakes from Space – NASA
Iceberg edges.

But, Infidel, icebergs don’t flow like rivers! How did they get into the water?

Allah’s hand, Infidel! Icebergs are the result of glaciers or rivers of ice that flow into the sea.

Glacier flowing through mountains.
Allah doesn’t make roads – we make roads.
Not a sign of Allah but a sign made by Muslims – humans.

And it is He who spread the earth and placed therein firmly set mountains and rivers; and from all of the fruits He made therein two mates; He causes the night to cover the day.

Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought.

Koran 13:3

Night doesn’t cover the day.

Earth with day, left, and night, right. Dusk and dawn are on either side of the edge in the middle.

It is Allāh who created the heavens and the earth and sent down rain from the sky and produced thereby some fruits as provision for you and subjected for you the ships to sail through the sea by His command and subjected for you the rivers.

Koran 14:32
Ship from Allah, surely?

I wonder how the Muslims of Muhammad’s time sailed through the rivers?

Kayaking from Allah, surely?

Is He [not best] who made the earth a stable ground and placed within it rivers and made for it firmly set mountains and placed between the two seas a barrier?

Is there a deity with Allāh?

[No], but most of them do not know.

Koran 27:61

For more about the “two seas” and the “barrier”, see Koran – Two Seas.

Do you not see that Allāh sends down rain from the sky and makes it flow as springs [and rivers] in the earth; then He produces thereby crops of varying colors; then they dry and you see them turned yellow; then He makes them [scattered] debris.

Indeed in that is a reminder for those of understanding.

Koran 39:21

Notice that the translators added “[and rivers]” to try to make sense of Muhammad’s words. Muhammad was talking about the springs in Petra.

Muhammad’s Stolen River

“caused to gush forth within them a river.”

Each of the two gardens produced its fruit and did not fall short thereof in anything.

And We caused to gush forth within them a river.

Koran 18:33

For more, see Koran 18:32-44.

Muhammad’s Imaginary Rivers

Muhammad’s rivers of madness twists and turns…

Blessed is He who, if He willed, could have made for you [something] better than that – gardens beneath which rivers flow – and could make for you palaces.

Koran 25:10
A palace in the clouds of Muhammad the Mad’s imagination.

Muhammad Ranting Rivers

Have they not seen how many generations We destroyed before them which We had established upon the earth as We have not established you?

And We sent [rain from] the sky upon them in showers and made rivers flow beneath them; then We destroyed them for their sins and brought forth after them a generation of others.

Koran 6:6

Notice the “rivers” produced from “showers”.

Showers

Muhammad didn’t know he would later invade and force everyone to convert to Islam.

Rivers of Paradise

Rivers of water, milk, wine & Tej, honey wine.

Tej – honey wine from Ethiopia.

Is the description of Paradise, which the righteous are promised, wherein are rivers of water unaltered, rivers of milk the taste of which never changes, rivers of wine delicious to those who drink, and rivers of purified honey, in which they will have from all [kinds of] fruits and forgiveness from their Lord…

Except, Koran 47:15

Note the four plurals, “rivers”.

And give good tidings to those who believe and do righteous deeds that they will have gardens [in Paradise] beneath which rivers flow.

Whenever they are provided with a provision of fruit therefrom, they will say, “This is what we were provided with before.”

And it is given to them in likeness.

And they will have therein purified spouses, and they will abide therein eternally.

Koran 2:25

Would one of you like to have a garden of palm trees and grapevines underneath which rivers flow in which he has from every fruit?

But he is afflicted with old age and has weak [i.e., immature] offspring, and it is hit by a whirlwind containing fire and is burned.

Thus does Allāh make clear to you [His] verses that you might give thought.

Koran 2:266

Say, “Shall I inform you of [something] better than that? For those who fear Allāh will be gardens in the presence of their Lord beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally, and purified spouses and approval from Allāh. And Allāh is Seeing [i.e., aware] of [His] servants –

Koran 3:15

Those – their reward is forgiveness from their Lord and gardens beneath which rivers flow [in Paradise], wherein they will abide eternally; and excellent is the reward of the [righteous] workers.

Koran 3:136

And their Lord responded to them, “Never will I allow to be lost the work of [any] worker among you, whether male or female; you are of one another. So those who emigrated or were evicted from their homes or were harmed in My cause or fought or were killed – I will surely remove from them their misdeeds, and I will surely admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow as reward from Allāh, and Allāh has with Him the best reward.”

Koran 3:195

Is “their Lord” “Allah”? No. Obviously “their Lord” is Muhammad.

But those who feared their Lord will have gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding eternally therein, as accommodation from Allāh.

And that which is with Allāh is best for the righteous.

Koran 3:198

But those who believe and do righteous deeds – We will admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide forever.

For them therein are purified spouses, and We will admit them to deepening shade.

Koran 4:57

But the ones who believe and do righteous deeds – We will admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever.

[It is] the promise of Allāh, [which is] truth, and who is more truthful than Allāh in statement.

Koran 4:122

These are the limits [set by] Allāh, and whoever obeys Allāh and His Messenger will be admitted by Him to gardens [in Paradise] under which rivers flow, abiding eternally therein; and that is the great attainment.

Koran 4:136

And Allāh had already taken a covenant from the Children of Israel, and We delegated from among them twelve leaders.

And Allāh said, “I am with you. If you establish prayer and give zakāh and believe in My messengers and support them and loan Allāh a goodly loan, I will surely remove from you your misdeeds and admit you to gardens beneath which rivers flow. But whoever of you disbelieves after that has certainly strayed from the soundness of the way.”

Koran 5:12

Allāh will say, “This is the Day when the truthful will benefit from their truthfulness.”

For them are gardens [in Paradise] beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever, Allāh being pleased with them, and they with Him.

That is the great attainment.

Koran 5:119

And We will have removed whatever is within their breasts of resentment, [while] flowing beneath them are rivers.

And they will say, “Praise to Allāh, who has guided us to this; and we would never have been guided if Allāh had not guided us. Certainly the messengers of our Lord had come with the truth.”

And they will be called, “This is Paradise, which you have been made to inherit for what you used to do.”

Koran 7:43

Notice how the “they” speak as one and as a multiple with “us”, “we” and “our”.

Also, notice “messengers” – who is the other messenger to these Muslims?

Allāh has promised the believing men and believing women gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally, and pleasant dwellings in gardens of perpetual residence; but approval from Allāh is greater.

It is that which is the great attainment.

Koran 9:72

Allāh has prepared for them gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide eternally.

That is the great attainment.

Koran 9:89

And the first forerunners [in the faith] among the Muhājireen and the Anṣār and those who followed them with good conduct – Allāh is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him, and He has prepared for them gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever.

That is the great attainment.

Koran 9:100

Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds – their Lord will guide them because of their faith.

Beneath them rivers will flow in the Gardens of Pleasure.

Koran 10:9

The example [i.e., description] of Paradise, which the righteous have been promised, is [that] beneath it rivers flow.

Its fruit is lasting, and its shade.

That is the consequence for the righteous, and the consequence for the disbelievers is the Fire.

Koran 13:35

And those who believed and did righteous deeds will be admitted to gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding eternally therein by permission of their Lord; and their greeting therein will be, “Peace!”

Koran 14:23

Gardens of perpetual residence, which they will enter, beneath which rivers flow.

They will have therein whatever they wish.

Thus does Allāh reward the righteous –

Koran 16:31

Those will have gardens of perpetual residence; beneath them rivers will flow.

They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and will wear green garments of fine silk and brocade, reclining therein on adorned couches.

Excellent is the reward, and good is the resting place.

Koran 18:31

Gardens of perpetual residence beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally.

And that is the reward of one who purifies himself.

Koran 20:76

Indeed, Allāh will admit those who believe and do righteous deeds to gardens beneath which rivers flow.

Indeed, Allāh does what He intends.

Koran 22:14

Indeed, Allāh will admit those who believe and do righteous deeds to gardens beneath which rivers flow.

They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearl, and their garments therein will be silk.

Koran 22:23

And those who have believed and done righteous deeds – We will surely assign to them of Paradise [elevated] chambers beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally.

Excellent is the reward of the [righteous] workers

Koran 29:58

But those who have feared their Lord – for them are chambers, above them chambers built high, beneath which rivers flow.

[This is] the promise of Allāh.

Allāh does not fail in [His] promise.

Koran 39:20

Indeed, Allāh will admit those who have believed and done righteous deeds to gardens beneath which rivers flow, but those who disbelieve enjoy themselves and eat as grazing livestock eat, and the Fire will be a residence for them.

Koran 47:12

[And] that He may admit the believing men and the believing women to gardens beneath which rivers flow to abide therein eternally and remove from them their misdeeds – and ever is that, in the sight of Allāh, a great attainment

Koran 48:5

There is not upon the blind any guilt or upon the lame any guilt or upon the ill any guilt [for remaining behind].

And whoever obeys Allāh and His Messenger – He will admit him to gardens beneath which rivers flow; but whoever turns away – He will punish him with a painful punishment.

Koran 48:17

Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and rivers,

Koran 54:54

On the Day you see the believing men and believing women, their light proceeding before them and on their right, [it will be said], “Your good tidings today are [of] gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein you will abide eternally.”

That is what is the great attainment.

Koran 57:12

Their “light” refers to Muhammad. Muhammad gets his left and right mixed up here because elsewhere in the Koran Muhammad has his believers on his right and his criminals on his left.

You will not find a people who believe in Allāh and the Last Day having affection for those who oppose Allāh and His Messenger, even if they were their fathers or their sons or their brothers or their kindred.

Those – He has decreed within their hearts faith and supported them with spirit from Him.

And We will admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally.

Allāh is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him – those are the party of Allāh.

Unquestionably, the party of Allāh – they are the successful.

Koran 58:22

He will forgive for you your sins and admit you to gardens beneath which rivers flow and pleasant dwellings in gardens of perpetual residence.

That is the great attainment.

Koran 61:12

The Day He will assemble you for the Day of Assembly – that is the Day of Deprivation.

And whoever believes in Allāh and does righteousness – He will remove from him his misdeeds and admit him to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever.

That is the great attainment.

Koran 64:9

[He sent] a Messenger [i.e., Muḥammad] reciting to you the distinct verses of Allāh that He may bring out those who believe and do righteous deeds from darknesses into the light.

And whoever believes in Allāh and does righteousness – He will admit him into gardens beneath which rivers flow to abide therein forever.

Allāh will have perfected for him a provision.

Koran 65:11

O you who have believed, repent to Allāh with sincere repentance.

Perhaps your Lord will remove from you your misdeeds and admit you into gardens beneath which rivers flow [on] the Day when Allāh will not disgrace the Prophet and those who believed with him.

Their light will proceed before them and on their right; they will say, “Our Lord, perfect for us our light and forgive us. Indeed, You are over all things competent.”

Koran 66:8

The “light” refers to Muhammad and he gets his left and right mixed up. Again. Note how the group speaks as one and refers to the group with “us” and “our”.

Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds will have gardens beneath which rivers flow.

That is the great attainment.

Koran 85:11

Their reward with their Lord will be gardens of perpetual residence beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever, Allāh being pleased with them and they with Him.

That is for whoever has feared his Lord.

Koran 98:8

A River of Contradiction

1 + 1 = 3

5:82 You will surely find the most intense of the people in animosity toward the believers [to be] the Jews and those who associate others with Allāh; and you will find the nearest of them in affection to the believers those who say, “We are Christians.”

That is because among them are priests and monks and because they are not arrogant.

83 And when they hear what has been revealed to the Messenger, you see their eyes overflowing with tears because of what they have recognized of the truth.

They say, “Our Lord, we have believed, so register us among the witnesses. 84 And why should we not believe in Allāh and what has come to us of the truth? And we aspire that our Lord will admit us [to Paradise] with the righteous people.”

85 So Allāh rewarded them for what they said with gardens [in Paradise] beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally.

And that is the reward of doers of good.

Koran 5:82-85

Except that even Muslims know that Christians, priests and monks aren’t in Paradise. Christians ascend to Heaven:

Stairway to Heaven with GOD and Jesus.

Jesus ascended to Heaven, like this:

Jesus, played by an actor, ascending to Heaven.

Even Muhammad in his Koran agrees with:

Rather, Allāh raised him to Himself. And ever is Allāh Exalted in Might and Wise.

Koran 4:158

[Jesus] And peace is on me the day I was born and the day I will die and the day I am raised alive.”

Koran 19:33
River of Life by Mac Powell

Muhammad was a false prophet, for a false god, Allah, for a false religion, Islam, without even a false book, the Koran.
