Koran – Psalms

Muhammad thinks the Psalms (“Zabur”) are a separate book from the Bible and Torah, revealed to David.

Koran 4:163

The translators have deliberately mistranslated, writing “the book” to pretend it’s part of the Book, then added “[of Psalms]”.

Indeed, We have revealed to you, [O Muḥammad], as We revealed to Noah and the prophets after him.

And We revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, the Descendants, Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon, and to David We gave the book [of Psalms].

Here’s Pickthall, who correctly translates “zabur” as “Psalms”:

Lo! We inspire thee as We inspired Noah and the prophets after him, as We inspired Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the tribes, and Jesus and Job and Jonah and Aaron and Solomon, and as We imparted unto David the Psalms;

Koran 17:55

Note again the deliberate mistranslation:

And your Lord is most knowing of whoever is in the heavens and the earth.

And We have made some of the prophets exceed others [in various ways], and to David We gave the book [of Psalms].

Here’s Pickthall, who correctly translates “zabur” as “Psalms”:

And thy Lord is Best Aware of all who are in the heavens and the earth. And we preferred some of the prophets above others, and unto David We gave the Psalms.

Koran 21:105

Both translators get this wrong:

And We have already written in the book [of Psalms] after the [previous] mention that the land [of Paradise] is inherited by My righteous servants.

And verily we have written in the Scripture, after the Reminder: My righteous slaves will inherit the earth:

Arberry and a few other translators get it right:

For We have written in the Psalms, after the Remembrance, ‘The earth shall be the inheritance of My righteous servants.’

Conclusion

Muhammad getting these simple things wrong, shows he’s a liar, a false prophet, for false Allah, in a false religion, Islam.
