What is the Name of the Black Stone in Arabic?
Hajar al-Aswad.
What was before the Black Stone?
Narrated Abu Raja Al-Utaridi:
We used to worship stones, and when we found a better stone than the first one, we would throw the first one and take the latter, but if we could not get a stone then we would collect some earth (i.e. soil) and then bring a sheep and milk that sheep over it, and perform the Tawaf around it.
When the month of Rajab came, we used (to stop the military actions), calling this month the iron remover, for we used to remove and throw away the iron parts of every spear and arrow in the month of Rajab.
Abu Raja’ added: When the Prophet sent with (Allah’s) Message, I was a boy working as a shepherd of my family camels. When we heard the news about the appearance of the Prophet, we ran to the fire, i.e. to Musailima al-Kadhdhab.
Sahih al-Bukhari 4376, 4377
What is the Black Stone in Islam?
It was narrated from Ibn Abbas that the Prophet said:
“The Black Stone is from Paradise.”
Sunan an-Nasa’i 2935
The black stone descended from paradise whiter than milk, but the sins of the descendants of Adam made it black.
Mishkat al-Masabih 2577
Is the Black Stone in Muhammad’s Koran?
No.
What Should be in the Koran about the Black Stone?
Something like this:
Kiss or lick the black stone, then walk fast three times, then walk slowly four times in honour of the wandering stars.
Black Stone Chapter
Or better:
Discard the black stone as it is an idol.
Discard the idol of Allah as he is also an idol.
No Idolatry Chapter
What did the Black Stone look like?

The Islamic prophet Muhammad solves a dispute over lifting the black stone into position from the old Kaaba to the new Kaaba at Mecca, Petra, Jordan.
In the centre, Prophet Muhammad, with two long hair plaits, places the stone on a carpet held at the four corners by representatives of the four tribes, so that all have the honour of lifting it. The carpet is a kelim from Central Asia. Behind, two other men lift the black curtain which conceals the doors of the sanctuary.
Wikipedia Description
What Happens on the Last Day?
Ibn Abbas narrated that:
The Messenger of Allah said about the (Black) Stone:
By Allah! Allah will raise it on the Day of Resurrection with two eyes by which it sees and a tongue that it speaks with, testifying to whoever touched it in truth.
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 961
Notice the requirement for “in truth”.
What is the Tawaf?
When the Messenger of Allah came to Makkah, he touched the Black Stone and at the beginning of his Tawaf, he walked rapidly in (the first) three of the seven rounds.
Sunan an-Nasa’i 2942
Ibn ‘Abbas (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah commanded them to trot for three circuits and walk (with a normal pace) for four circuits, between the two corners (The Black Stone and the Yemeni corner). Agreed upon.
Bulugh al-Maram 748
Jabir b. Abdullah (Allah be pleased with them) reported that when Allah’s Messenger proceeded to Mecca, he came to it (the Black Stone). he kissed it. and moved to his right. and moved quickly in three circuits, and walked in four circuits.
Sahih Muslim 1218d
Walking rapidly for the first three rounds and then walking slowly for the next four rounds is the worship of the wandering stars, the classical planets. The first three classical planets are Moon, Mercury and Venus, then the next four, Sun, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn, as per the Ptolemaic System of antiquity.

How did Muhammad’s Tribe go around the Kaaba?
They did a slow walk around the Kaaba, taking most of the day. For more, see “Shadow Prostration“.
What does the Black Stone Represent?
Narrated Ibn Abbas:
Allah’s Messenger performed Tawaf (of the Ka`ba) riding a camel (at that time the Prophet had a foot injury). Whenever he came to the Corner (having the Black Stone) he would point out towards it with a thing in his hand and say, “Allahu-Akbar.”
Sahih al-Bukhari 1632
As shown by the exclamation of Muhammad, the Black Stone represents Allah.
What Benefit is the Black Stone?
None at all. Even Umar, one of the early Muslims, noted this:
Narrated Abis bin Rabia:
Umar came near the Black Stone and kissed it and said:
No doubt, I know that you are a stone and can neither benefit anyone nor harm anyone. Had I not seen Allah’s Messenger kissing you I would not have kissed you.
Sahih al-Bukhari 1597
There are many repetitions of this hadith.
Narrated Zaid bin Aslam from his father who said:
Umar bin Al-Khattab addressed the Corner (Black Stone) saying, “By Allah! I know that you are a stone and can neither benefit nor harm. Had I not seen the Prophet touching (and kissing) you, I would never have touched (and kissed) you.”
Then he kissed it and said, “There is no reason for us to do Ramal (in Tawaf) except that we wanted to show off before the pagans, and now Allah has destroyed them.”
Umar added, “(Nevertheless), the Prophet did that and we do not want to leave it (i.e. Ramal).”
Sahih al-Bukhari 1605
As you can see, touching, kissing and orbiting the Black Stone was a pagan polytheist tradition carried on by Muhammad, Umar and the Muslims.
Why is the Black Stone Important?
Ibn Abbas narrated that:
The Messenger of Allah said about the (Black) Stone: “By Allah! Allah will raise it on the Day of Resurrection with two eyes by which it sees and a tongue that it speaks with, testifying to whoever touched it in truth.”
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 961
What Harm is the Black Stone?
It was famously contaminated by faeces. Naturally, a thing that is kissed or licked repeatedly will pass on diseases between people. Also, it’s a waste of time and money, being literally idolatry.
What was the Black Stone Originally?
It was the idol of the goddess Manat, the goddess of Fate, one of the daughters of Allah. It was worshipped by Muhammad’s tribe and was also worshipped by Muhammad and his wife Khadija before Muhammad invented Islam from his native polytheism. This daughter and the two others are named in Muammad’s Koran just before the Satanic Verses.
Is it the Original Black Stone?
Infamously, the Black Stone was stolen by a Muslim who used it as his “toilet” to expose to other Muslims that it was an idol, which it literally is. Later, he returned 8 black pebbles, supposedly the original now broken into pieces.
What does the Black Stone look like now?

The red/brown substance is a resin or wax to protect the 8 black pebbles from being stolen by Muslims like the first black stone was.

Note that “Stone – 1” is in two pieces, side by side.

As a reminder, this is what the black stone supposedly looked like in Muhammad’s time, one large black stone:

I personally think that the black stone was replaced by a handful of black pebbles from a streambed or rockfall, like this:

What did Muhammad call the Black Stone?
Muhammad is said to have called the stone “the right hand of al-Rahman”.
Black Stone, Wikipedia
What does this mean? It means that the black stone is the right hand of Allah. This confirms that the black stone is an idol, a part of a larger idol, Allah.
I personally think that Muhammad meant that the black stone was the stone in a ring on the hand of Allah. Something like this:

Why did Muhammad Kiss, Touch and Lick the Black Stone?
This is the idol of Manat, the goddess of Fate in the pre-existing polytheism that held that this was also the goddess of fertility and determined that children would get born to those who were barren. Muhammad was infertile and he couldn’t sire a son. So in desperation, he reintroduces the black stone into his cult of Islam for the second time and worships it, in the hope of getting a son. It failed. Idols do nothing.
Black Stone Maintenance
Notice the Muslim is using a blow torch to reflow the wax around the 8 black stone pebbles.
The Truth About the Black Stone
This video shows Muslims worshipping the 8 black pebbles:
Islam is Idolatry
There are lots more stories about the Black Stone on Wikipedia.
More about the Black Stone:
The black stone is an idol, just like Allah and the 360 idols around the Kaaba and the idols inside the Kaaba.
Conclusion
Muhammad was a false prophet, for a false god, Allah, for a false religion, Islam, without even a false book, the Koran.
