He of the Two Horns

Story of “He of the Two Horns” in “Scripture”

There’s no story of “He of the Two Horns” in “Scripture”, Torah or Bible, at all. However, there are legends of Alexander the Great and his activities, which are primarily fictional.

The Story of “He of the Two Horns”

18:83 And they ask you, [O Muhammad], about Dhul-Qarnayn. Say, “I will recite to you about him a report.”

84 Indeed We established him upon the earth, and We gave him to everything a way.

85 So he followed a way 86 Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it [as if] setting in a spring of dark mud, and he found near it a people.

Allah said, “O Dhul-Qarnayn, either you punish [them] or else adopt among them [a way of] goodness.”

87 He said, “As for one who wrongs, we will punish him. Then he will be returned to his Lord, and He will punish him with a terrible punishment. 88 But as for one who believes and does righteousness, he will have a reward of Paradise, and we will speak to him from our command with ease.”

89 Then he followed a way 90 Until, when he came to the rising of the sun, he found it rising on a people for whom We had not made against it any shield. 91 Thus. And We had encompassed [all] that he had in knowledge.

92 Then he followed a way 93 Until, when he reached [a pass] between two mountains, he found beside them a people who could hardly understand [his] speech.

94 They said, “O Dhul-Qarnayn, indeed Gog and Magog are [great] corrupters in the land. So may we assign for you an expenditure that you might make between us and them a barrier?”

95 He said, “That in which my Lord has established me is better [than what you offer], but assist me with strength; I will make between you and them a dam. 96 Bring me sheets of iron” –

until, when he had leveled [them] between the two mountain walls, he said, “Blow [with bellows],”

until when he had made it [like] fire, he said, “Bring me, that I may pour over it molten copper.”

97 So Gog and Magog were unable to pass over it, nor were they able [to effect] in it any penetration.

98 [Dhul-Qarnayn] said, “This is a mercy from my Lord; but when the promise of my Lord comes, He will make it level, and ever is the promise of my Lord true.”

99 And We will leave them that day surging over each other, and [then] the Horn will be blown, and We will assemble them in [one] assembly.

Koran 18:83-99

Who is “He of the Two Horns”?

Alexander the Great – He of the Two Horns – wearing the horns of the ram-god Zeus-Ammon.

In the Koran the name “Dhul-Qarnayn” is literally “He of the Two Horns” and this is usually attributed to Alexander the Great, based on his coin, featuring him wearing the horns of the ram-god Zeus-Ammon.

18:83 And they ask you, [O Muhammad], about Dhul-Qarnayn. Say, “I will recite to you about him a report.”

84 Indeed We established him upon the earth, and We gave him to everything a way.

Koran 18:83-84

Muhammad admits: “I will recite to you about him a report.” Note this comes after Muhammad is asked, and it’s Muhammad obviously reciting the story, not Allah, as why should the imperfect words and deeds of a pagan unbeliever be recorded by Allah the secretary of Alexander the Great?

Note the claim by Muhammad that Alexander followed Allah, when clearly on the coin, Alexander is a pagan (Greek) follower of Zeus-Ammon, wearing the TWO HORNS of the Ram-god. Obviously, this is an ignorant lie by Muhammad.

What was West?

Sun setting in a muddy pool

18:85 So he followed a way 86 Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it [as if] setting in a spring of dark mud, and he found near it a people.

Koran 18:85-88

Note the translator’s addition: “[as if]”, to correct Muhammad and his recitation, better than Allah can. Instead, the Sun is really “setting in a spring of dark mud”, as confirmed by this hadith:

Narrated Abu Dharr:

I was sitting behind the Messenger of Allah who was riding a donkey while the sun was setting.

He asked: “Do you know where this sets?”

I replied: “Allah and his Apostle know best.”

He said: “It sets in a spring of warm water (Hamiyah).”

Sunan Abi Dawud 4002
Earth, Day and Night, with the Sun never setting or rising

So why is Dhul-Qarnayn the messenger to these people when he doesn’t come from these people and it’s only Muhammad who’s the messenger to all people?

So why is Dhul-Qarnayn the messenger to these people when he doesn’t come from these people and it’s only Muhammad who’s the messenger to all people? And worse, he, as well as Muhammad, fail these people in giving the message of Allah.

What was the Other Way?

Derbent Wall – Alexander the Great

Koran 18:92-99

So why is Dhul-Qarnayn the messenger to these third people when he doesn’t come from these people and it’s only Muhammad who’s the messenger to all people? And worse, he as well as Muhammad, fail these people in giving the message of Allah.

Great Wall of China

Worse, where is the wall Dhul-Qarnayn made? Is it the Great Wall of China? That was made by the Chinese, not by Dhul-Qarnayn.

Derbent Wall – Alexander the Great

The Derbent Wall was thought to be built by Alexander (and his troops and locals) but clearly doesn’t fit the description Muhammad gives.

And where are Gog and Magog? We’ve mapped the Earth’s surface and been to all nations – there’s no nation of Gog and Magog, yet, Muhammad claims they will be there until the end times.

There’s no population of “Gog” or “Magog” on Earth. They do not exist. They’re imaginary and come from the Alexander Romance, which Muhammad copied badly to produce the story of He of the Two Horns.

The Syriac Alexander Legend, currently dated around 629-630 AD, has been found to closely resemble the story of Dhu al-Qarnayn in the Qur’an.

Alexander Romance, Wikipedia

There’s a little more about this in Koran 21:95-97.

In the hadith, Muhammad claims there’s a hole in the wall:

Narrated Zainab bint Jahsh:

The Prophet got up from his sleep with a flushed red face and said, “None has the right to be worshipped but Allah. Woe to the Arabs, from the Great evil that is nearly approaching them. Today a gap has been made in the wall of Gog and Magog like this.”

(Sufyan illustrated by this forming the number 90 or 100 with his fingers.)

It was asked, “Shall we be destroyed though there are righteous people among us?”

The Prophet said, “Yes, if evil increased.”

Sahih al-Bukhari 7059

Obviously, Muhammad merely had a nightmare, as we’re not overrun by Gog and Magog over the past 1400 years.

As you can see, the story of “He of the Two Horns” is just nonsense by Muhammad incorporating earlier legends and pretending that they’re from imaginary Allah.

This story shows that Muhammad lied, that Allah is imaginary, the Koran is lies and nonsense and that Islam doctrine and Islam are nonsensical, incoherent and false.
