According to some apologists and proponents of Islam, everyone is born a Muslim. For example from My Islam Guide:
Believe it or not, all humans born into this world are aware of God and the knowledge of right and wrong from birth. The environment they are born into, like their parent’s religious background or cultural influences, often alters them from this inherent knowledge of God and our responsibility to Him etc.
In His infinite love and compassion, God gave all humans this fitrah, which pulls them back towards Him through the message of His prophets which was finalized and preserved with the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
However, some people may either ignore the call or are so steeped in the falsehoods of their ‘given’ religion that they ignore their fitrah guiding them back to the One and Only God. This fitrah is that still small voice that ‘whispers’ to you the difference between right and wrong and makes you question the doctrination of the corruption in religion today. Can you hear it?
Inherent Nature (Fitrah), Everyone Is Born a Muslim, My Islam Guide

Of course, other apologists and proponents of Islam differ:
Everyone is not born a Muslim.
A ‘Muslim’ with respect to the technical meaning which is used in the Shariah means one who believes in, and accepts Allah as the One God, who Has no son, equal or partner. A ‘Muslim’ accepts the Holy Quran as the final revealed scripture and believes in it as a true revelation from Allah. He believes in all the Prophets from Adam (A.S) until the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w), and accepts Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) as the final Prophet, whom he takes as his prophet and follows his teachings. Along with this, a ‘Muslim’ believes in the Oneness and attributes of Allah, in His Angels, Scriptures, in Qadr, in life after death, in Paradise and in Hell.

Notice the sexism in the passage, a Muslim can only be male, not female.
Both opinions above ultimately depend upon the same passage of the Koran, Koran 7:172-174:
7:172 And [mention] when your Lord took from the children of Adam – from their loins – their descendants and made them testify of themselves, [saying to them], “Am I not your Lord?”
They said, “Yes, we have testified.”
[This] – lest you should say on the Day of Resurrection, “Indeed, we were of this unaware.”
173 Or [lest] you say, “It was only that our fathers associated [others in worship] with Allāh before, and we were but descendants after them. Then would You destroy us for what the falsifiers have done?”
Koran 7:172-173
For a refutation of this passage, read Koran 7:172-174.
Notice that “your Lord” takes the “children of Adam” from the loins and talks to them. This is based on Muhammad’s corruption of the Greek doctrine of Preformationism. This Greek nonsense has always been a lie and here it is, repeated and corrupted by Muhammad. Surely Allah could correct Muhammad, right?
Children aren’t in the loins and never were. They’re created by the fusion of the man’s sperm and the woman’s egg in her womb. They never existed in the loins of their fathers. Babies are created and formed in the womb of their mothers.

Allah’s ignorance of the medical facts of fertilisation and pregnancy shows that Allah is Muhammad, and both are liars.
What’s worse is that this passage is linked to Muhammad’s context, his time and his place, as a false prophet of Islam in his tribe of the Quraysh. How? Look at the speech of the people:
7:172 [Allah] “Am I not your Lord?”
Notice that Allah speaks as one person: “Am I not your Lord?” Allah speaks as a singular person, which is correct as Allah is one in Islam. We’ll put aside the problem of Allah speaking in Classical Arabic,…
Notice that the people speak as a group, instead of individuals: “Yes, we have testified.” But the plain reading of the text shows that the group have denied Allah as their Lord. That’s because Allah (Muhammad) has stupidly said the opposite of what he should have said:
- “Am I not your Lord?”
- “Yes.” Conclusion: You are not our Lord.
Here’s how Muhammad as Allah could have said it better:
- “I am your lord. Look at my shin.”
- “I have seen, heard and obeyed you, Allah and will remember your shin.”
Muhammad then proposes two alternative futures (contradicting Islamic Fate) and has the singular person speak as a group, again:
- “Indeed, we…”
- “our fathers”, “we were” & “destroy us”.
How can these “people” speak for all others, when none knows the minds of all the others? What this shows is that the group is omniscient. They are the equal of Allah, who lacks omniscience or even wisdom. But worse, the group knows their minds better than Allah. Thus they are superior to Allah. Obviously, this is incoherent with Allah being one and with Islam, so showing that the Koran, Muhammad, Allah and Islam are false.
If Muhammad had intended this to apply to individuals, then this would be better:
7:172 [Allah] “I am your Lord. Look at my shin.”
Everyone said, “I have seen, heard and obeyed you, Allah and will remember your shin.”
[This] – lest you should say on the Day of Resurrection, “Indeed, I was of this unaware.”
173 Or [lest] you say, “It was only that my father and others who associated [others in worship] with Allāh before, and I was but his child after him. Then would You destroy me for what the idolaters have done?”
Individualised Koran 7:172-173
Continuing this, the group of humans show that they are infused with original sin:
It was only that our fathers associated [others in worship] with Allāh before, and we were but descendants after them.
Then would You destroy us for what the falsifiers have done?
Excerpt, Koran 7:173
Notice that Allah & Muhammad is unable to answer their question. Why should children inherit the fault of their parents? Why should they be punished for this? And worse, watch in the Koran as Allah, or Muhammad speaking as Allah, punishes people for this original sin:
36:59 [Then He will say], “But stand apart today, you criminals. 60 Did I not enjoin upon you, O children of Adam, that you not worship Satan – [for] indeed, he is to you a clear enemy – 61 And that you worship [only] Me? This is a straight path. 62 And he had already led astray from among you much of creation, so did you not use reason? 63 This is the Hellfire which you were promised. 64 Enter to] burn therein today for what you used to deny.”
Koran 36:59-64
As a reminder:
It was only that our fathers associated [others in worship] with Allāh before, and we were but descendants after them.
Then would You destroy us for what the falsifiers have done?
Excerpt, Koran 7:173
Muhammad as Allah punishes people for the sins of their polytheist fathers. In other words, the polytheists, the Quraysh.
Also, Muhammad was unable to consider the case of Jewish and Christian children, of Jews and Christians who never associate with Allah. Note: “our fathers associated [others in worship] with Allāh” – this is Muhammad’s misperception of Qurayshi beliefs, which only happened when he converted to monotheism after listening and talking to others. The Jews and the Christians never associate with GOD, and Allah is not GOD.
There’s worse to come. Notice that Allah creates Adam from a variety of substances in the Koran. Muhammad’s confusion shows that Allah is none, instead of one. So where was Adam put to question by Allah? Also, Muhammad forgot about Eve. Where was she put to the question by Allah? Does she get a free pass?
Now consider Cain and Abel, the two sons of Adam and Eve, and their questioning while in the loins of Adam:
Or [lest] you say, “It was only that our fathers associated [others in worship] with Allāh before, and we were but descendants after them. Then would You destroy us for what the falsifiers have done?”
Koran 7:173
Who did Adam, the father of Cain and Abel, associate with Allah? Obviously, Adam didn’t associate anyone with Allah. Thus this possible future for Cain and Abel is incoherent nonsense.
Worse, consider the successive cases of each human, brought before Allah, told about Allah,… how does association with Allah or polytheism even start? Just as Adam didn’t associate others with Allah, neither did Cain and Abel. So their descendants can’t associate others with Allah. And so on through the generations down to Muhammad, who was born to polytheist parents, in the Quraysh tribe. Muhammad grew up pagan, worshipping Allah, the wife of Allah, the sun goddess, their three daughters, Al Lat, Al Uzza and Manat, their pet lion, the 360 other idols around the Kaaba, the black stone and the Sky, Earth and Mountain gods. He also worshipped his ancestors, like the rest of the Quraysh people did.
Now consider Muhammad is there, in front of Allah, pre-incarnate, before being conceived in his mother’s womb, in his father’s loins, and Muhammad is asked by Allah:
7:172 [Allah] “Am I not your Lord?”
Muhammad said, “Yes, I have testified.”
[This] – lest you, Muhammad, should say on the Day of Resurrection, “Indeed, I, Muhammad, was of this unaware.”
173 Or [lest] you, Muhammad say, “It was only that our fathers associated [others in worship] with Allāh before, and I was but a descendant after them. Then would You destroy me, Muhammad, for what the falsifiers have done?”
Muhammad put to the Question, Koran 7:172-173
In the Biography (Sira), Muhammad was a polytheist, a pagan. So why was Muhammad a polytheist? Worshipping the idols of Allah, his wife, the sun goddess, their three daughters, Al Lat, Al Uzza and Manat, their pet lion, the 360 other idols around the Kaaba, the black stone and the Sky, Earth and Mountain gods. He was introduced to the idea of monotheism by various people but continued to worship the idols including the idol of Allah in the Kaaba, as shown here, in the hadith:
The commencement (of the Divine Inspiration) to Allah’s Messenger was in the form of true dreams in his sleep, for he never had a dream but it turned out to be true and clear as the bright daylight. Then he began to like seclusions, so he used to go in seclusion in the cave of Hira where he used to worship Allah continuously for many nights before going back to his family to take the necessary provision (of food) for the stay. He come back to (his wife) Khadija again to take his provision (of food) likewise, till one day he received the Guidance while he was in the cave of Hira.
Excerpt, Sahih al-Bukhari 4953
Notice that he did this repeatedly. So who does Muhammad meet in the dark cave? Allah? Like he did when he was pre-incarnate, while not in his mother’s womb, while in his father’s loins?
An Angel (Jibril) came to him and asked him to read.
Allah’s Messenger replied, “I do not know how to read.”
The Prophet added, “Then the Angel held me (forcibly) and pressed me so hard that I felt distressed. Then he released me and again asked me to read, and I replied, ‘I do not know how to read.’ Thereupon he held me again and pressed me for the second time till I felt distressed. He then released me and asked me to read, but again I replied. ‘I do not know how to read.’
Excerpt, Sahih al-Bukhari 4953
Obviously, this is a demon attacking Muhammad, not a visitation by Allah or by Allah’s angel, or Gabriel mentioned in the Bible. Compare with the power and authority of Allah:
[Allah] “Am I not your Lord?”
They said, “Yes, we have testified.”
Excerpt, Koran 7:172
Jibril is unable to command Muhammad and assaults him. Allah commands. Thus you know the Koran is lies and nonsense, Allah is Muhammad, and so Islam is false.
Worse, Jibril continues to lie to Muhammad, deceiving him. For more, read False from the First Word.
Far worse, Muhammad himself contradicts this with his assertion that he is the first Muslim:
No partner has He. And this I have been commanded, and I am the first [among you] of the Muslims.”
Koran 6:163
39:11 Say, [O Muḥammad], “Indeed, I have been commanded to worship Allāh, [being] sincere to Him in religion. 12 And I have been commanded to be the first [among you] of the Muslims.”
Koran 39:11-12
How can Muhammad be first, when everyone is Muslim already?
References from Other Verses of the Koran
The Messenger has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, and [so have] the believers.
All of them have believed in Allāh and His angels and His books and His messengers, [saying], “We make no distinction between any of His messengers.”
And they say, “We hear and we obey. [We seek] Your forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the [final] destination.”
Koran 2:285
And remember the favor of Allāh upon you and His covenant with which He bound you when you said, “We hear and we obey”; and fear Allāh.
Indeed, Allāh is Knowing of that within the breasts.
Koran 5:7
The only statement of the [true] believers when they are called to Allāh and His Messenger to judge between them is that they say, “We hear and we obey.”
And those are the successful.
Koran 24:51
References from the Hadith
Allah’s Messenger, there is happiness for this child who is a bird from the birds of Paradise for it committed no sin nor has he reached the age when one can commit sin.
He said: ‘A’isha, per adventure, it may be otherwise, because God created for Paradise those who are fit for it while they were yet in their father’s loins and created for Hell those who are to go to Hell. He created them for Hell while they were yet in their father’s loins.
Sahih Muslim 2662c
Note the phrase “while they were yet in their father’s loins.”
Explaining the tradition “Every child is a born on Islam”, Hammad b. Salamah said :
Sunan Abi Dawud 4716
In our opinion it means that covenant which Allah had taken in the loins of their fathers when He said : “Am I not your Lord? They said: Yes.
Clothing and Hijab compared with Skyclad (Nude)
Now consider the natural state of babies born from their mother’s womb, naked. Should the baby girl wear the hijab?

A baby girl who is made to wear hijab is obviously forced, by her parents.
Now consider the slave girl enslaved by Muhammad. Does she wear the hijab? Obviously not, right?

Thus you know that slavery is wrong, as it’s incoherent with the nature of Adam and Eve being nude and free and not slaves.
So what’s the natural state of worshipping the black stone? Going around nude. It was Muhammad’s innovation to clothe the idolaters of the black stone:

When Muhammad dictates clothing, you know that Allah is Muhammad, Muhammad is Allah and so Islam and Koran are false.
