In the Koran, there’s the phrase: “third of three”. It comes from:
They have certainly disbelieved who say, “Allāh is the third of three.” And there is no god except one God. And if they do not desist from what they are saying, there will surely afflict the disbelievers among them a painful punishment.
Koran 5:73
Naturally, for Muhammad to quote “They” shows that the Koran isn’t from Allah or a real god. Remember, no one says “Allah is the third of three” – Christians say “Father, Son and Spirit”. So what’s it about? Well, this passage from the Koran helps to explain it:
5:116 And [beware the Day] when Allāh will say, “O Jesus, Son of Mary, did you say to the people, ‘Take me and my mother as deities besides Allāh?'” He will say, “Exalted are You! It was not for me to say that to which I have no right. If I had said it, You would have known it. You know what is within myself, and I do not know what is within Yourself. Indeed, it is You who is Knower of the unseen. 117 I said not to them except what You commanded me – to worship Allāh, my Lord and your Lord. And I was a witness over them as long as I was among them; but when You took me up, You were the Observer over them, and You are, over all things, Witness. 118 If You should punish them – indeed they are Your servants; but if You forgive them – indeed it is You who is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.”
Koran 5:116-118
Note that this passage seems to quote Allah and Jesus, but it’s just Muhammad pretending. This should be obvious from Muhammad’s accidental mistake: “when You took me up,” which confirms the resurrection of Jesus and his ascension to Heaven. This obviously contradicts Islam but agrees with Christianity. Muhammad agrees with the Crucifixion in the original Arabic of the Koran.
So let’s look at the situation Muhammad is ranting about. Christians, praying at an icon of baby Jesus and Mary, which is placed in the Kaaba, at the foot or shin of Allah, the idol, inside the Kaaba at the time of Muhammad.

Why was this situation allowed amongst the polytheists of Muhammad’s tribe? It’s because they had Christians, and the Christians had no church at the time. So it was permitted for them to worship in the Kaaba, at an icon, placed at the feet or shin of Allah, the idol, amongst the other idols in the Kaaba, the wife, three daughters, and pet lion. This is roughly what would be seen inside from top down:

The above is what Christians, at the time of Muhammad before he took Mecca, would have seen: an icon of Mary and Jesus at the feet or shin of Allah, with the daughters beside him and the arch of the sun goddess behind. This served to show Christians that their religion was subject to the idols of the Quraysh, a display of power.
Muhammad’s Tawhid, or Unification, was to unify all the idols into Allah. So when he took Mecca, the icons of Mary and Jesus had to go along with the rest of the idols and images that had accreted there over the centuries.
Later, it’s mentioned in the hadith that Muhammad had the idols, images and icons taken out of the Kaaba. These would include the icon of the Spirit, a dove, and the icon of Mary and baby Jesus.
When the Prophet entered Mecca on the day of the Conquest, there were 360 idols around the Ka`ba. The Prophet started striking them with a stick he had in his hand and was saying, “Truth has come and Falsehood will neither start nor will it reappear.”
Sahih al-Bukhari 4287
When Allah’s Messenger arrived in Mecca, he refused to enter the Kaba while there were idols in it. So he ordered that they be taken out. The pictures of the (Prophets) Abraham and Ishmael, holding arrows of divination in their hands, were carried out. The Prophet said, “May Allah ruin them (i.e. the infidels) for they knew very well that they (i.e. Abraham and Ishmael) never drew lots by these (divination arrows). Then the Prophet entered the Kaba and said. “Allahu Akbar” in all its directions and came out and not offer any prayer therein.
Sahih al-Bukhari 4288
In the biography:

There he found a dove made of wood. He broke it in his hands and threw it away.

Muhammad was a false prophet, for a false god, Allah, for a false religion, Islam, without even a false book, the Koran.
