Qur’an 38:30-40

A Qur’an Like It.

Here’s the Sahih International translation:

38:30 And to David We gave Solomon.

An excellent servant, indeed he was one repeatedly turning back [to Allāh].

31 [Mention] when there were exhibited before him in the afternoon the poised [standing] racehorses.

32 And he said, “Indeed, I gave preference to the love of good [things] over the remembrance of my Lord until it [i.e., the sun] disappeared into the curtain [of darkness].”

33 [He said], “Return them to me,” and set about striking [their] legs and necks.

34 And We certainly tried Solomon and placed on his throne a body; then he returned.

35 He said, “My Lord, forgive me and grant me a kingdom such as will not belong to anyone after me. Indeed, You are the Bestower.”

36 So We subjected to him the wind blowing by his command, gently, wherever he directed,

37 And [also] the devils [of jinn] – every builder and diver.

38 And others bound together in irons.

39 [We said], “This is Our gift, so grant or withhold without account.”

40 And indeed, for him is nearness to Us and a good place of return.

Here’s my improved version:

38:30 Bathsheba gave Solomon to David, not Allah.

David and Bathsheba never worshipped Allah – though maybe Solomon did when he built lots of temples for his pagan wives.

31 Muhammad inserts a 32 pointless story about 33 animal abuse.

34 Allah places a body? What is this – a story about a zombie now?

35 Allah doesn’t grant kingdoms.

Muhammad got his empire by military force.

36 Muhammad shows the wind is part of Allah’s portfolio.

37 Allah doesn’t grant people devils or jinn (imaginary).

38 Allah doesn’t have iron to chain people or demons with.

Imagine Muhammad being able to ask Allah to chain his foes together.

39 Allah speaks directly to Solomon, not needing Jibril to possess him.

40 Solomon isn’t buried in Mecca.

Muhammad’s body, being dust in the desert, is closer.

As I’ve produced a better verse than Muhammad, this shows Muhammad is Allah, Allah is Muhammad, the Koran comes from Muhammad (and friends), and Islam is false.
