Here’s the Sahih International translation:

And thus have We sent it [i.e., the Qur’ān] down as verses of clear evidence and because Allāh guides whom He intends.

Notice carefully that Muhammad is talking about the past.

So what’s this verse doing in Muhammad’s Koran?

As I’ve produced a better verse than Muhammad, this shows Muhammad is Allah, Allah is Muhammad, the Koran comes from Muhammad (and friends), and Islam is false.
