Here’s the Sahih International translation:
17:29 And do not make your hand [as] chained to your neck or extend it completely and [thereby] become blamed and insolvent.
30 Indeed, your Lord extends provision for whom He wills and restricts [it].
Indeed He is ever, concerning His servants, Aware and Seeing.

Here’s my improved version:
17:29 Local idiom shows Allah is Muhammad’s creation, a puppet, an idol.
30 Allah’s hand is chained to his neck – he’s a miser.
What did you get from Allah this century? Hint: Nothing.

As I’ve produced a better verse than Muhammad, this shows Muhammad is Allah, Allah is Muhammad, the Koran comes from Muhammad (and friends), and Islam is false.
