Koran 80:1-16

80:1 The Prophet frowned and turned away 2 Because there came to him the blind man, [interrupting].

3 But what would make you perceive, [O Muhammad], that perhaps he might be purified 4 Or be reminded and the remembrance would benefit him?

5 As for he who thinks himself without need, 6 To him you give attention.

7 And not upon you [is any blame] if he will not be purified.

8 But as for he who came to you striving [for knowledge] 9 While he fears [Allah], 10 From him you are distracted.

11 No! Indeed, these verses are a reminder; 12 So whoever wills may remember it.

13 [It is recorded] in honored sheets, 14 Exalted and purified, 15 [Carried] by the hands of messenger-angels, 16 Noble and dutiful.

Koran 80:1-16
8 But as for he who came to you striving [for knowledge] 9 While he fears [Allah], 10 From him you are distracted.

There’s an interesting story from the scholars of Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 80:1, about how this passage came to be:

The Prophet being reprimanded because He frowned at a Weak Man.
More than one of the scholars of Tafsir mentioned that one day the Messenger of Allah was addressing one of the great leaders of the Quraysh while hoping that he would accept Islam. While he was speaking in direct conversation with him, Ibn Umm Maktum came to him, and he was of those who had accepted Islam in its earliest days. He (Ibn Umm Maktum) then began asking the Messenger of Allah about something, urgently beseeching him. The Prophet hoped that the man would be guided, so he asked Ibn Umm Maktum to wait for a moment so he could complete his conversation. He frowned in the face of Ibn Umm Maktum and turned away from him in order to face the other man. Thus, Allah revealed, (this passage).

Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 80:1

This passage is about Muhammad being reprimanded by “Allah” AFTER the event, not before. So why is it in the Koran? This Koran is supposed to be for all people in all times, places and worlds, including Mars. Yet, here’s a message to Muhammad, criticising Muhamad, who has been dead for 1400 years or more, a passage that should NOT be in the perfect words of the perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah. Thus, you know from this, from this direct reprimand to Muhammad, that Allah is inside Muhammad, that Jibril is false (Jibril is NOT a messenger or “angel” or “spirit”), and so Muhammad is possessed, by both Allah and Jibril. For more, see: Muhammad the Three.

From Muhammad’s ignoring of one of his own Muslims, the Quraysh elite could see that Muhammad didn’t care about his people, his Muslims, and thus they knew Muhammad’s message was one of deceit and evil, not to be trusted. The Quraysh were right to ignore and shun Muhammad, as he was deceitful and evil, doing harm to others, even to his own followers, the poor blind man.

And of course, you’ll note Muhammad being unable to cure the blind man’s blindness. Compare this to Jesus who almost casually cures the blind, even if they aren’t followers, Christians. See this dramatisation for yourself:

The blind man healed by Jesus

And if you read this Koran passage carefully, you’ll see here in this passage that Muhammad ignores the advice of Allah. Which is something we should all do, ignore Allah, and Muhammad pretending to be Allah.

13 [It is recorded] in honored sheets, 14 Exalted and purified, 15 [Carried] by the hands of messenger-angels, 16 Noble and dutiful.

80:11 No! Indeed, these verses are a reminder; 12 So whoever wills may remember it.

13 [It is recorded] in honored sheets, 14 Exalted and purified, 15 [Carried] by the hands of messenger-angels, 16 Noble and dutiful.

Koran 80:11-16

This describes the effort of Muhammad’s scribe and Muhammad’s companions, spreading the WRITTEN passages of the earlier passages of Muhammad to his Muslims. Thus, you know they are cursed by Koran 2:79, with:

79 So woe to those who write the “scripture” with their own hands, then say, “This is from Allah,”

in order to exchange it for a small price. Woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for what they earn.

Koran 2:79

After all, you’ll note that it’s supposedly Jibril who recites the Koran to Muhammad in his ear, so that no one else can hear, so that Muhammad can recite, so everyone around him can hear. No “honored sheets, Exalted and purified”, carried by angels created from light and certainly not carried around by Jibril. These are merely Muslim scribes and literal messengers, spreading Muhammad’s words, fragmentary versions of Muhammad’s Koran, thus showing Koran is not preserved by Allah, thus Islam is false. For more, see: A Koran like it?

Muhammad shows that his Koran is incoherent and in multiple fragments, thus the myth of a divinely preserved Koran has always been false, right from the start of Islam’s creation by Muhammad. Thus, you know Muhammad was a false prophet, for a false god, Allah, for a false religion, Islam, without even a false book, the Koran.

The best replacement for this passage is: “”, the empty sentence.
