Koran 71:21-24

71:21 Noah said, “My Lord, indeed they have disobeyed me and followed him whose wealth and children will not increase him except in loss.

22 And they conspired an immense conspiracy 23 And said, ‘Never leave your gods and never leave Wadd or Suwāʿ or Yaghūth and Yaʿūq and Nasr (These were the names of specific idols named after pious men of earlier generations.).’

24 And already they have misled many.

And, [my Lord], do not increase the wrongdoers except in error.”

Notice Muhammad is including the speech of polytheists who also worship Allah, the idol here, showing their real words are more important than the imaginary words of imaginary Allah.

Notice Muhammad’s mistakes, one of the biggest being:

And said, ‘Never leave your gods and never leave Wadd or Suwa’ or Yaghuth and Ya’uq and Nasr.

Who are “Wadd or Suwa’ or Yaghuth and Ya’uq and Nasr”? There’s no mention of these people in the story of Noah in Torah or the Bible. But the scholars of Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 71:21, tell a story about this:

These are the names of their idols which they used to worship besides Allah.

Al-Bukhari recorded from Ibn Abbas that he said, “The idols that were among the people of Nuh wound up among the Arabs afterwards. In reference to Wadd, it became the idol of the people of Kalb in the area of Dawmat Al-Jandal. Suwa became the idol of the people of Hudhayl. Yaghuth became the idol of the people of Murad, then the people of Bani Ghutayf at Al-Juruf in the area of Saba’ worshipped it after them. Yauq became the idol of the people of Hamdan. Nasr became the idol of the people of Himyar for the family of Dhu Kala. These idols were all named after righteous men from the people of Nuh. Then when these men died, Shaytan inspired his (Nuh’s) people to erect statues in honor of them at their gathering places where they used to come and sit, and to name these statues after these men (with their names). So they did this (as Shaytan suggested), but these statues were not worshipped until after those people (the ones who built them) had died and the knowledge was lost. Then, those statues were later worshipped.”

This has also been similarly reported from Ikrimah, Ad-Dahhak, Qatadah and Ibn Ishaq.

Ali bin Abi Talhah reported from Ibn Abbas that he said, “These are statues that were worshipped in the time of Nuh.”

Ibn Jarir recorded from Muhammad bin Qays that he said concerning Yaghuth, Yauq and Nasr, “They were righteous people between the time of Adam and Nuh, and they had followers who used to adhere to their guidance. Then, when they died, their companions who used to follow them said, If we make images of them, it will increase our desire to perform worship when we remember them.’ So they made images of them. Then, when those people died and other people came after them, Iblis approached them and said, They (your predecessors) used to worship these statues and they were granted rain by their worship of them.’ Thus, they (the latter people) worshipped them.”

Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 71:21

Muhammad included the idol worship of his people into his story of “Noah” or him pretending to be Noah, thus “diversifying” the story, and showing that Islam is false.

In the end, Muhammad, as Noah, speaks of believing men and women entering his house, forgetting entirely that Noah had a boat, not a house, and that everyone else, except Noah’s family, was drowned in the flood. Muhammad the Mad also forgot about the animals, showing that Allah doesn’t control animals, and showing that Allah is an idol, like the four idols he rails against here.

Notice Muhammad’s next mistake: “And, [my Lord], do not increase the wrongdoers except in error”. If this story is about Noah, then this is pointless. The Flood happened immediately after Noah built his boat, the Ark, and got the animals and his family aboard. Muhammad’s speech shows this is a prayer to an idol, who does nothing, so nothing happens.

Muhammad pretends to be Noah, changes the story to be about his people, the Quraysh, the Nabateans, and about his ruler, forgets about the animals, and shows the incompetence of himself and his idol, Allah.
