70:8 On the Day the sky will be like murky oil (or molten metal), 9 And the mountains will be like wool (in the process of disintegration), 10 And no friend will ask [anything of] a friend, 11 They will be shown each other.
The criminal will wish that he could be ransomed from the punishment of that Day by his children. 12 And his wife and his brother 13 And his nearest kindred who shelter him. 14 And whoever is on earth entirely [so] then it could save him.
15 No (It is not to be)! Indeed, it is the Flame [of Hell], 16 A remover of exteriors.
17 It invites he who turned his back [on truth] and went away [from obedience] 18 And collected [wealth] and hoarded.
Koran 70:8-18
This is torture porn, disgusting and nasty, and shows Muhammad had nothing but arguments from fear.
The “Day” is the last day of Islamic theology, a day that had already occurred for Muhammad, with the Moon Splitting, showing Muhammad was a false prophet to all.
Muhammad’s “wool” means the mountains disintegrating. These are the mountains around Petra, being removed by imaginary Allah to make Muhammad’s imaginary Paradise.
Muhammad’s attack against “The criminal” is directed at the ruler of Mecca, AKA Petra, Jordan, the ruler of the Quraysh, and the Nabateans. Notice that Muhammad assumes that his Last Day will come soon, in his own lifetime and in the lifetime of his enemy. Obviously, nothing has happened for 1400 years, showing Muhammad was a false prophet, for a false god, Allah, for a false religion, Islam, without even a false book. You can tell it’s for this ruler, because this ruler has children, a wife, and a brother, but no sisters. He also has relatives in the tribe who respect him more than they do Muhammad. Notice as well, Muhammad’s criticism “he who turned his back”, “went away” and “collected [wealth] and hoarded”. Muhammad was jealous of his ruler’s wealth and wanted it for himself. Jealousy is such an evil emotion, leading to evil. Muhammad then threatens with Fire:
It invites…
Koran 70:17
Fire doesn’t invite.
But, Infidel, it’s a magical fire that acts independently of Allah,… Exactly, that is a partner to Allah, isn’t it? Muhammad commits shirk by assigning Islamic Fire as a partner to Allah, thus showing he’s more powerful than Allah, so showing Allah is imaginary.
But, but, infidel, it’s subordinate to Allah,… Still, shirk, and it’s acting independently of Allah and Islamic Fate.
But, but, but, Infidel, Allah acts through Fire to invite! But this doesn’t actually happen at all, and you’ll note that this then makes Muhammad, Allah’s WARNER, useless and worthless as he’s long dead.

Did the Fire invite you, or was it me just writing text, like Muhammad ranting out loud, “It invites…”?
So, you can see that this passage is not a warning to disbelievers. It’s instead the threats of the powerless false prophet, a liar and a deceiver, acting against his tribe and his ruler, causing evil.
And of course, nothing happened. Muhammad later invaded with his Muslim bandits, took over, executed those who opposed him (probably including this ruler), forced everyone to be Muslims and collapsed Mecca AKA Petra, so proving to all that he was a false prophet, and was, instead, a real tyrant, an oppressor of people.

The rest of verses 17-18 show Muhammad’s greed for wealth and the lack of bounty from Allah. Thanks, Muhammad, for showing that Allah doesn’t provide bounty; it’s instead camel merchants who provide, when threatened by Muslim bandits. Robbery and theft. For more, see the intimidation of a merchant in Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 70:1, forcing him to give camels to the Muslim bandits.
The best replacement for this passage is: “”, the empty sentence.
