30:41 Corruption has appeared throughout the land and sea by [reason of] what the hands of people have earned so He [i.e., Allah] may let them taste part of [the consequence of] what they have done that perhaps they will return [to righteousness].
42 Say, [O Muhammad], “Travel through the land and observe how was the end of those before. Most of them were associators [of others with Allah].[“]
Koran 30:41-42
Note that I had to add the close quotation in verse 42. I’ll assume this is a translation issue. As of late 2024, this issue is still present, even in the “Saheeh International” update.
Muhammad spoke about Allah in the third person. This means this passage is not the perfect words of the perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah. Thus, Allah is false, imaginary, and fictional, which means Islamic doctrine and Islam are nonsensical and false.
Muhammad, in his Koran, addresses a sentence, verse, or passage to “Anonymous They”, with “they”, “them”, “he”, “your”, “the people”, and so on, without naming them. For more, read Anonymous They.
Muhammad Allah commands Muhammad to: “Say” or “Recite”. This means that this passage is addressed to Muhammad, not to all people. Thus, this passage can’t be in the perfect words of the perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah. As it is addressed to Muhammad, in his time and place, his context, this also means that this passage is locked to Muhammad’s context and can’t be in the context-free, perfect Qur’an from perfect Allah with all its perfect words. Thus, this passage is part of Muhammad’s recitation, Muhammad’s Koran, which means Islamic doctrine and Islam are incoherent and false, meaning Allah is incoherent, imaginary, fictional, and false.
Muhammad claims that “Corruption has appeared throughout the land and sea by [reason of] what the hands of people have earned” – yet is unable to name, describe or even include pictures of what he meant. The best the scholars of Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 30:41, have is:
The rain is withheld from the land and this is followed by famine, and it is withheld from the sea, adversely affecting the animals which live in it.
Evil on land means the killing of the son of Adam, and evil on the sea means piracy.
the shortfall in the crops and fruits is because of sins
Whoever disobeys Allah in the earth has corrupted it, because the good condition of the earth and the heavens depends on obedience to Allah
The more justice is established, the more the blessings and good things will increase.
Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 30:41
Obviously, this is incompetence on the part of Muhammad and so Allah is Muhammad, which means Islam, Koran, Allah and Muhammad are false.
Muhammad claims: “Most of them were associators [of others with Allah].” And what about the rest? Those that weren’t “associators”? Worse, how did these people know about and obey Allah, yet, have no messenger and were still wiped out by Allah? Thus, this shows that Muhammad is associating ill fortune with Allah, and Muhammad commits shirk. Thus Muhammad, Allah, Islam and the Koran are false.
How does one travel through the land of Saudi Arabia or around Petra, Jordan to see Muhammad’s proof? Worse, which sea or ocean has the piracy? Muhammad is unable to say. According to one site, there are three hotspots for piracy. One is located near Islamic lands – why are Muslims indulging in piracy – the corruption of the sea? Does Allah punish these pirates? The Muslims don’t. It’s the West that looks for and tries to catch and punish these pirates. If only Allah pointed out to these pirates the message of Islam – but Allah has failed for the past 1400 years.

Just as Allah has no power over pirates, so it, the idol, has no power over you. Leave Islam and make better choices.
The best replacement for this passage is: “”, the empty sentence.
